bellasyummymummy Im so pleased to hear youve got her in your arms now, she must of sensed you had had enough of waiting! Atleast your birth was quick, im planning on breast feeding when my little girl EVENTUALLY decides to make an appearance, is it really that tireing?
sunbeam99 yes i know how you feel, im newish to this and i was suprised as to how much it actually helps, it makes you feel loads better just knowing people are in simialr situations! Im not 6days overdue with first baby, it seems like much longer though! And me and my DP have also tried everything to bring little one on, but nothing seems to work, iv officially given up trying, she can come when shes ready if not she WILL come out next thursday when im getting induced lol!

Well im 41weeks today and still here!

She didn't want to do it. So I have the 3rd booked for saturday at 12.30pm...... Last chance saloon, otherwise induction on Monday.

You never know joanne34 you might be one of these woman who just beat there induction by hours, the babys on here just seem to know lol. good luck.

2 days over now and already fed up. No interventions for me until we get to 42 weeks (or something seems wrong).

Still bloody frustrating though.

Hang on in there morloth I hope your not here for as long a iv been, im 8days over due now, rggghhh, and they arent inducing me until im 13days over. its not fair i know!

Hello ladies I am also two days overdue like Morloth and I am really fed up. This is my second I had my first DD 4 days late but I was having contractions 3 days prior to having her .

I've read a few posts on here saying that this thread is lucky so hopefully it will be for me. I'm having a sweep on Tuesday if nothing's happened by then. I'm not sure how long they will leave me before an induction it used to be 10 days but it may have changed

I had sweep earlier today so fingers crossed something will happen shortly. I do feel as if it may have done something but no contractions or show yet. Maybe tonight?

There's a discrepancy with my dates so induction isn't booked until Friday which is a relief. Seriously don't want to get to Friday though!

Absolutely nothing has happened since mine unfortunately. Maybe possibly there will be some progress this evening.

Hey, I'm still here. Went for the sweep yesterday, but she wouldn't do it, because babys head was floating about and she was worried if she broke my waters the cord would come down ! ? ?
All set for tomorrow, ds1 at his dads for a few days now.
Goodluck to all, I hope this baby is not huge now ! We shall see !

I am 5 days overdue. I was 10 days overdue with DD and had forgotten how horrible it is.. I am up with strong BH contractions tonight but I have had several nights like this and don't expect this to result in anything. Just another sleepless night.

Now officially 40+1. Have been lurking for a few days now as I KNEW I was going to go overdue- DD was 2 weeks late and this is just as frustrating. Only difference is this time I actually believe there will be a baby at the end of it. Hang in there first timers!

Have been resisting medical interventions so far (doctors wanted to induce me at term because I am old (40!!). May go for s&s on Friday. Some mild cramping but that's it- don't even feel close...

I may beat the next person who asks me if I have had the baby yet. 40+5 and still NOTHING.

There isn't enough chocolate in the world...

morloth i know the feeling, im 40+11 today, and still no sighn of baby, . People ask me that all the time, sooo frustrating!

Tiggz... any signs or changes? I feel like some progress is being made for me, but doubt it'll actually amount to going into labour without induction. Perhaps finally giving up on my baby arriving, will mean I finally go into labour?! 42 weeks today and still here.

I'm hoping this is a lucky thread ... 40 + 10 today. Definitely fed up. No real signs of much going on. Terrified of induction (not really sure why, just seems very medical). Hello to everyone who was/is on the March antenatal thread ...

Oh I just posted the 200th post. Surely that's lucky right? (yes am going slightly crazy looking for omens and signs ... sometimes feel like I'm in some sort of twilight zone ).
