After about an hour of painless contractions every 3 mins, waters just went. Had forgotten quite how bloody much of it there is. I sit back and await labour...

Sex is obviously out...but have you considered the orgasm by itself bit? Not a homeopath but maybe some Caulophyllum 200c? Still going with breast pump? Or perhaps most effective...(though sounds silly) go and have a quiet bath and have a talk with your baby, reassure him/her that all is well and you are ready for him/her to make an entrance.

I hope today's the day! A good roll on the yoga ball might help keep things moving and nipple tweaking can definately do so

I have two friends who are reflexologists who both started each others labours, it can be very effective, neither of them ever got a crack at my feet, as both my babies came before 39 weeks.

Wishing you loads of luck, keep on bouncing....

You're doing so well Duchesse - don't think about induction before Thursday - you still have 2 whole days for labour to get going before then! These are some of the things I tried to kick start my (faltering) labour at home so I could give birth at home:

Breast pump
Bouncing on ball
Eating (chopped apple and banana)
Orgasm (with vibrator)

Come on baby Duchesse! xxx

Oh yoga ball definitely worked for me,

and also a large slice of chocolate cake worked for my friend I joked with her there was no room for the cake and the baby she text me later on after I had left her home to say she was in the hospital

Doesn't Lulu recommend ready a saucy book on the loo?

Hope things are progressing....

I'm just going into hospital for induction, guys. Nothing is working, and the nights are too dark to go through another one like this. Back asap.

FWIW I think you are doing the right thing Duchesse (not that I am an expert or anything). Yours and the baby's well being are the most important things, not where you have the baby IYKWIM?

Good luck, cant wait for the news.
