Duchesse's childbirth thread...she hopes

After about an hour of painless contractions every 3 mins, waters just went. Had forgotten quite how bloody much of it there is. I sit back and await labour...

Baby is out of nicu and next to me in the postnal ward!

Her infection has cleared according to the blood tests and she has her last dose of antibiotics this afternoon.

Things is looking up...

The guppy, whose name may well be Matilda, pulled out her feeding tube and had her cannula removed, so is now wireless. We will probably be allowed to go home tomorrow!!

congratulations duchesse - I'm so pleased she's doing so well now and she is very gorgeous . It's a bit of a mind blower to know they could only have got out through the sun roof isn't it (Niamh had knitted herself in too)hope you both make it home really soon.
