I am 38+5 today. And I am so bloody FED UP of being pregnant now!

Can't sleep during the night, so end up sleeping during the day which then perpetuates the no sleeping at night; have 2 two year olds to look after as well which is REALLY difficult (thankfully in nursery 3 days a week); constantly up and down for a wee; standing up makes me nauseous and/or faint so can't really go anywhere or do anything.....

ARGH! I haven't any problems really, just getting to point now where I really really really want my baby, he's kicking me a lot to let me know he is there but this is making me nauseous as well :(

Oh well, I'll just go and chop some more pineapple and drink my raspberry leaf tea - OH should be home soon, I don't think he's ever felt so lucky! Grin Hoping I don't go too much further - was induced at 36 weeks with the boys so have no idea what to expect!

All I seem to do is whinge at the moment- I am so so grumpy! I am 38+3 and keep telling my bump it is more than welcome to come out now. I can't wait to see his/her legs kicking around but am truely fed up with feeling them punishing my ribs. MW fairly sure I am now anemic as I am so super tired and breathless. My poor DH keeps on getting yelled at which isn't nice as he is already v stressed trying to clear his work schedule so he can take 2 weeks off (he owns his own business). Oh and I want to be able to reach my feet again!!!!!!

Ah that feels so much better, nothing like a good rant Grin

mumofthreekids · 13/10/2011 18:08

Feeling your pain ladies - I was 40+8 with DS1 and 40+7 with DD and I was climbing walls!! Most unhelpful comment ever: "Haven't you had that baby yet?"!!!

DS2 took me by surprise by being 3 days early :)

Hope it happens soon for you both

clare40 · 13/10/2011 20:03

I'm 41 weeks today!!! Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! So fed up!

Pinkiemum · 13/10/2011 20:14

I am only 37+5 weeks and can't wait for it to come, have been off work for five weeks and am now bored, my DD is driving me mad and my lower back feels either sore or really tight all the time.

Hope having a rant has made you all feel better and that the babies come soon. Whackamole I can't imagine having two, two year olds to look after and being this pregnant.

whackamole · 13/10/2011 20:46

I'm so glad some other people have commented on my thread! I was beginning to get a bit paranoid that people just don't feel like this (illogical I know!)

clare good luck, I hope things kick off for you shortly! Also for everyone else as well, let's hope they all arrive in a timely (and painless) fashion! Grin

I'm 41weeks tomorrow and booked in for a sweep. Not getting my hopes up though heard more people say it hasn't worked than has. Is anyone else sick of being told "it won't be long now"?! Liars!!! Lol.....through the tears :(

cookie9 · 14/10/2011 06:45

I am 35 +6 and as soon as I get to 37 plan to get lots of oxytocin hormones by watching romantic films, eating chocolate, jo Malone baths and getting romantic with my husband. Even if doesn't start labour at least will make me feel good.

Allboxedin · 14/10/2011 19:18

I'm 39 and 2 today. Feel sick and have mean heartburn. :(

Allboxedin · 14/10/2011 19:21

I have one 2 year old too, can't imagine having 2 though! :(

MixedBerries · 15/10/2011 11:36

41 + 2 today. Still holding out a faint hope that yesterday's sweep (my third) will start something other than bleeding and random contractions. Good luck to all of you out there- hope it happens soon and as painlessly as possible.

marylou242 · 15/10/2011 11:53

Well, I am fed up too. Not quite 37 weeks but I want it out! I've had a foot stuck in my rib for over a week. Can't sleep as my hips hurt (as well as my rib). Just had a dizzy spell in the car and thought I was going to pass out. I am not sure I can get any bigger without my stomach splitting, the skin seems to ache. And I have one two year old to look after who's constantly on the go and doesn't go to nursery. Don't envy you with two others though whackamole.

corkythecat · 15/10/2011 13:26

38+3 here.
SPD, carpel tunnel in my hands, anemic, feet so swollen that they look like they belong to a 20 stone monster, a bum stuck up inside my left ribs and feet kicking inside the right and I'm so tired but cant sleep.
Feels good to have a nice vent!
Off to drink some more RLT and bounce on my ball. Having some friends over tonight for a nice hot curry, hopefully that will cheer me up a bit [hwink]

MrsVidic · 16/10/2011 09:26

Just thought I'd pop on (not pg but dd2 is 10 weeks old)
It is so much easier having a new born and a toddler than being preg with one. It will be over soon and I had 1 of these threads when pg which got me thru. Good luck!!!!

mancbird · 16/10/2011 10:08

41+1 here and very fed up! Being induced tomorrow so very excited and nervous all at the same time...

Allboxedin · 16/10/2011 19:29

Good luck for tomorrow manc!

I just wondered after they induce you how long does it take for things to start happening and would they send you home or keep you in?

Kat311011 · 17/10/2011 07:52

38 weeks today, baby likes to live under my ribs and so they are constantly sore, back ache most of the time and now starting to have trouble sleeping at night. (I know I am lucky to have got this far and to not have developed problems sleeping).
Bouncing on ball, walks, swimming and raspberry leaf tea in the hope it will get him moving [hgrin]

Beesok · 17/10/2011 08:27

Official Due Date today - no baby and no signs of an imminent arrival ....did I just jinx myself by joining you ladies??? [hhmm] [hgrin]

I really hope this week will be The Week but my MW thinks it won't unless I relax - I have been like a woman on a mission in the past few weeks, house works, lists of stuff to do getting ticked off and friend from abroad staying with us (leaving today though) so probably subconsciously "blocking" labour...

I better chill the f out............

Good luck to everyone on this thread - hope you will be leaving it soon! [hsmile]

BikeRunSki · 17/10/2011 08:39

38+6. Fed up, now more pg than I was when DS was born, which is doing my head in. Seems "overdue" even though I could have 3 more weeks. Don't want to go on three more weeks though - that would be MY birthday....

voodoomunkee · 17/10/2011 08:53

Oooo can I join? Not technically allowed to rant - 37 weeks on Tuesday but hey I'm not sleeping or sleeping too much, uncomfortable most of the time and ow my back! Got 10 working days left at work, would appreciateit if she could come in about a week as am wrecked at the thought of 2 more weeks!!

Good luck Manc with the induction.

localcrackpot · 17/10/2011 23:48

37+5 so a relative newbie, but so ready to do this. Scared but ready. I keep telling her she has lots of pretty dresses but I haven't managed to lure her out yet. DH has cancelled a meeting in London tomorrow (we're north Mcr) and he had a lovely message back from his boss, the MD: "Not a problem. Family first, always." I can't get over it. His previous CEO would have set himself on fire before saying something like that! Made me weepy again. I had visions of myself trying to set up the pool for homebirth while mid-contraction and crying because I was scared and on my own. But now he'll only be an hour away :)
Midwife says baby properly engaged, could go any time, might not make it to my next appt a week on Weds. I hope so. Come on, little daughter. She's wriggling much more and more painfully today. Come on, baby.

xlatia · 18/10/2011 01:49

Aaah, me too! 40+3 today and LO seems to be just a bit too cosy in there. I feel like a whale, waddling around slowly and now I'm hungry but heartburn really puts me off any late night snacking. [hbiscuit]

xlatia · 18/10/2011 01:55

forgot to mention that i'm sick of wearing the same things every day, cannot wait to dig out my pre-pregnancy stuff again! cheerfully ingoring the fact that size might be an issue then

voodoomunkee · 18/10/2011 07:08

Oh am so with the annoyingly limited wardrobe rant! Take off clothes at tea time, wash, dry and re wear! I miss jeans, heels and my winter coat! 37 weeks today yay! Not even playing that could go late game....

ALotToTakeIn · 18/10/2011 08:19

Can I have a 2nd rant please?
Have been having mild cramping since FRIDAY and it has all come to nothing so far. Feel like bump is teasing me "maybe I'll come out, maybe I won't" I'm 39+1 today...

whackamole · 18/10/2011 12:09

I'm back for a bit more of a rant!

39+3 today, baby is completely engaged, I swear it feels like his head is between my knees at times!

Think I've had a bit of a show, have called MW and am waiting for her to call me back as I have no idea what to think as was induced last time. Have also been having mild cramping every day-ish for about 5 days, but never leading anywhere! Most frustrating!

DTS are driving me WILD today - being so so naughty! If I find they have scaled the fridge one more time.....!

Also not pleased with OH who after being so helpful about 3 weeks ago, has lapsed into doing feck all around the house, only allowing me a lie in every other day (he doesn't have to be up till 8 as he works 10-4) despite him knowing I am up every couple of hours to have a pee or roll over. Declined to wash up last night saying he'd 'do it tomorrow' meaning of course he does it after work so I end up doing it during the day as there is 3 of us at home all day.

On the other hand, have bought some new clothes (not many) which fit bar the bump already which is good. The only good thing about being overweight before getting pregnant, then having such bad nausea you can barely eat for 7 months is that you don't gain weight!
