Woke up with really strong pains, didn't think i could stand up but when i bent over i discovered it had been trapped wind! lol! poor DH was helping me get out of bed at the time!

sorry to hear you guys are still not sleeping much better it is so frustrating.
Stac hope you managed to get back to sleep

I'm going to make an effort with the house today, my mum is coming tomorrow to stay for a couple of nights as DH is going to edinburgh on a course. Its not that far away and he can be home in about hour and a half but will be nice to spend some time with mum! not sure if i'll still be saying that on friday! lol!

Hi all - thinking of all you now past the edd.

Didn't sleep well last night, BH seem to have calmed down. Bath with tea tree seem to has calmed thrush which is a relief.
Jobs for today - flea treat cat, hoover, sort out storage so babies clothes have somewhere to live, book hair appt, get pressie for mum's birthday, milk and toilet roll. Hopefully postie will arrive with clothkits project. Would also quite like to have a poo at some point
First things first - haven't had any coffee yet.

memphis83 · 06/07/2010 09:11

morning ladies!!!
glaston ive booked myself in for sweep on 14th too!! and was same last night for me putting a pillow under my hips after i lept on dh
dh make sure you bring up sweep to mw, a lot of mw's wont just suggest things if you dont show you want it, at our hospital it doesnt matter what pain your in they wont offer you pain relief you have to ask to get it, my friends only got gas and air for last half an hour after her mum said why havent you given her any!!
stac codiene is very good, make sure they give you lactulose at same time to keep bowels moving, you dont want to be bunged up!!
ive lost my clary sage it cost £9 so looks like it was a waste and i will have to buy another bottle! although ive now got it in my head i will go over! edd is friday dh has booked day off for us to do something as they say to go out and keep busy! we may go for lunch and do something silly like crazy golf!
got nothing planned for today may just replace clary sage and have a bath while dh is at work seeing as he cant stand the smell of it!
hopefully one of us will have a baby by tomorrow!

Morning all,

mlic its been 7 months since Ive worked, Im literally going out of my mind which is why I want this baby to come early/ on time, NOT LATE!!

Does anyone know if baby's movements change when labour is imminent? He seems to be a bit quieter this morning, I cant remember if Ive read anywhere that they change when they're getting ready for labour.

I hope we have some more babies very soon, I love seeing the pics.

Ooh, fingers crossed for you mlic!

Every morning I wake up with really uncomfortable period pains - don't know if it's because I've been stretched out all night or what. They ease off half an hour or so after getting up.

Wonderstuff · 06/07/2010 09:45

Everything crossed for you MLIC its got to happen sometime soon x

LOL at bored in messy house - that was me last pregnancy beckyg - actually that was me last week - only dh helping out over the weekend that means my house is nice now - I've worked out that the more work I do the more he does.

stac we were at Ikea at the weekend - is a little way away - dd was a total nightmare - told dh no way we are going back with her in tow

beckyg123 · 06/07/2010 09:58

Wonderstuff · 06/07/2010 10:11

Right - first wash on, poo sorted, spot-on flea treatment ordered - was sure we had some in! Tummy has been solid and had period pains since poo!!

memphis83 · 06/07/2010 10:25

oooh mlic got my fingers and toes crossed!
and wonder maybe your starting too! they say the body has a clear out b4 you start!! your post is early ours doesnt come til about 2!
my dog had just been sick on floor it was a task and a half to get onto floor and back up again to clean it, when i drop things i normally leave it for dh to get back but its not exactly something i could leave for 5 hours!

stac14 · 06/07/2010 13:38

whats happening mlic? Anything progressing?

becky i go in at 8.30 tonight and i have to fast till the morning. They are puting me on an insulin drip, as far as i know i will go first due to the fasting. Would be good if you came in, just shout stacey if you do lol

dh know how you feel i am bored as i havent worked for ages either so i am totally looking forward to the baby and all the changes that come with it. Hope you go soon

emster is it your pelvis hun?

wonder yeah ikea defo wasnt built for kids, too much stuff their not allowed to touch haha. Maybe your system is clearing in prep for birth

kk thats lovely, i love chubby kids too. I suppose the painting may help start you or make you knackered.

I'm getting lots of good luck txts and facebook messages, sorry to rub it in but i will just be glad when its this time tomorrow and shes here. Could go a stiff half to steady my nerves lol x

beckyg123 · 06/07/2010 13:54

Aw stac good luck- didn't realise you had to go in tonight! its been a long journey for you and your dp so just enjoy every second with your new baby girl when she arrives tomorrow i am very but also very happy for you!
will definately shout for you if i come in- although not even a hint of anything starting for me!

memphis not the nicest thing to leave for 5 hours but needs must!!! i nearly cry every time i'm out with the dog and she does a poo-why can't she keep them for when DH needs to pick them up- it is such an effort! although i think she realises it and has been going much more in the woods and long grass than normal and sorry but i'm not wading about looking for it!

kk we are the same- DH has 3 sisters who all have young kids and are all local so lots of big cousins to play with!!! did you decide to start the painting?

well i ignored the house and took my book out into the garden while its dry- ended up doing quite a bit of weeding etc so will be sore later on- might bring things along too!

Wonderstuff · 06/07/2010 14:22

stac good luck for tomorrow - so exciting.

becky good day for gardening

Well nothing happening for me here, but still 2 weeks off my official due date. MW tomorrow. Haven't done everything on my list, but house fairly clean and tidy. Am very proud of my organisation of our medical supplies into neat tupperware - I am getting a thing for plastic boxes - trying to organise the chaos. Going to have to go get dd soon - mamouth trip to nursery but worth it for the peace before I have to go get her.

New organised mum catalogue arrived - do I need the life book or the mini life book? Decisions decisions..

stac14 · 06/07/2010 14:26

becky think we are all glad we're at the end of the journey, its the next part thats most exciting. Hopefully the weeding will kick start yours. Defo get a catch up when we're all sorted maybe we could find an aqua natal for babies thats central to the 3 of us x
