I doubt both you and I will have had our babies within a month, chulita, though you never know I guess!

Growth scan tomorrow - will be interesting to see how big the baby is.

Good luck for tomorrow jojo!

Gracie123 · 29/06/2010 04:57

good luck jojo

can't believe it's 4.50am and I'm still awake. I'll have Ds to deal with too in a few hours! Hips/back are agony, finally resorted to codeine after vowing I wouldn't, so hopefully will get some sleep soon.

Seeing physio today, although I'm not sure how I will get to her office. Might have to borrow a wheelchair from A&E as I can't even walk to the loo ATM (made DH get up and carry me twice already tonight )

feel like I'm being such a wuss, but it's not just the pain, my right leg physically collapses when I put weight on it. I simply couldn't walk even if I wanted to.

WickedWitchSouthWest · 29/06/2010 05:09

Chulita · 29/06/2010 08:14

Congratulations wwsw What a fantastic labour time! So pleased for you! xx

It rained here too chulita but the sun has got his hat on lol.

Ds will be glad he's wanting to go swimming with friends. I on the other hand will just be pottering around the house. Whats everyone else doing today? X

beckyg123 · 29/06/2010 08:23

Fantastic news wwsw congratulations! can't wait to hear your story

gracie good luck today- just do exactly that and borrow a wheelchair! don't stress about it you've just got to do whats right for you

Chulita · 29/06/2010 08:25

We're off to toddler group this morning then DH has ordered me to nap when DD does and then I've got to blitz the house and sort out the guest room for mil and sil coming tonight. I might actually get the hoover out doesn't happen often!

beckyg you feeling better today?

OP posts:
beckyg123 · 29/06/2010 08:29

stac happy pottering! the air feels much fresher this morning so hopefully it will last
I'm going into town to hairdressers for highlights and cut, then taking tops back to h&m. Got BF vest tops that fit everywhere except my boobs! don't know whether to return or get next size up? will have time to try on today so might shop about a bit.
Making chulita's brownies this afternoon, then eating them after that! mmm....

MelissaM · 29/06/2010 08:30

Just popped over from the 'quieter' thread to see how you are all doing. (due 14th July)

Congratulations Wickedwitch! What a quick labour. Hope you are doing well and that you get to go home soon.

Gracie sorry to hear you are in so much pain. Hopefully the physio will help, and that you finally managed to get some sleep.

Good luck everyone

beckyg123 · 29/06/2010 08:32

chulita feeling a little better thanks, think lying down helped a good bit, took the pressure off- there's definately more there this morning tho. dreading what they will be like after all the pushing during labour

stac14 · 29/06/2010 08:40

who do you go to for your hair becky? Your right air is fresher. You will probs need to try the tops on as your boobs will swell after lo is born

chulita i cant stand the thought of visitors descending on us at the moment as i still feel there are things out of place. Defo do what dh says you'l need to be rested for mil and sil. How long they with you for?

I am going to pop to the library today for books for hospital. Wish it was next week or that my pains turn into something. Soz for rant lol x

NorkyButNice · 29/06/2010 08:50

Congrats wwsw! Lovely name, Edward - it's on our list if LO is a boy along with Edmund and some others.

And wow - what a great labour time! I hope it rubs off on the rest of us!

I had an awful night's sleep last night - I managed to fall asleep fine at 11 but then woke up at 2.30 and that was it for the rest of the night. Just dropped DS at nursery in the pouring rain, and now have to wait for Ocado to come before I can go back to bed!

Also had a mad cleaning fit yesterday so wondering if the nesting has finally kicked in.

Have a good day everyone

DesperateHousewife21 · 29/06/2010 09:08

Congratulations wwsw thats fantastic news give little Edward a big hug and kiss from us! Well done on having the birth you wanted, always nice when things go to plan, hope I can follow in your footsteps!

Good luck today jojo, cant wait to hear how it goes for you!

Im going round my mums today, weather isnt as good so just going to chill out and eat her food!
