Looking for some fellow late Januaryers to whisper about BFPs for late Jan 2011!! Just taken the test this afternoon and thrilled to be pg with #3 potentially (two DDs who are 19m and 3y). Anyone else out there?

Scan went well - a very wriggly baby so difficult to measure and get a pic, but totally adorable! Been out for dinner to celebrate! It's bloody fantastic isn't it being pg?

FloraPost · 14/07/2010 22:36

Congratulations to all on the scans. Mine is on Monday so will check in then to let you know how many heads the prawn has. I don't have a bump as such, but I can't really suck my tum in anymore.

We are off to a music festival tomorrow morning so hoping and praying that the nausea and exhaustion lift overnight. Tomorrow is 12 weeks by my calculation so it's about bloody time, I think!

WYG yes it really really is, just wait til you can feel limbs and feet - its amazing

Great news from all of these scans.

Good luck for tomorrow bubba

I have tried my best to get into my mat clothes but as I am obviously a fat heffer I can't fit into half of them, plenty of rrom for baby, just none for my arse!! - oh well I guess I will just have to replace them

flora have a great time!

flossie75 · 15/07/2010 08:18

Glad to hear about everyone elses successful scans and good luck to those still waiting. My EDD has been brough forward too - 21 Jan - saltnvinigar

If it arrives late it could end up sharing a bday with my FIL - not someone used to sharing!

Thanks for the tall clothes advice fuzzywood - started to have a look online. Think I'll be getting some stuff from ebay! Don't really want to get too much summer stuff but we're planning a holiday for September (hopefully somewhere warm) so might need at least enough to be decent.

Although I'm not sure where summer has gone today? Typical as I have a day off and apt to get my hair done!

I'm bound to have made some mistakes so if people want to tell me I don't mind updating and reposting....

JJKM Craving brussel sprouts is wrong!! Although I'm sure they're very good for you and the little one

knitter, fab list, that must have taken ages!

jjKM I craved brussel sprouts throughout my entire pregnancy with DD - especially when roasted with a little bacon. Nothing sounds worse to me right now though, v odd how different this one is!

Excellent new stats! I just thought I would update mine, although it's possible it could change again with my NT scan later today. Congrats to all those who have recently had good scans. I hope everyone who has been feeling ick is now starting to feel better. I still spend more time hugging my toilet than I would like, but I feel significantly better than last week!

Yay, great stats everyone. Ladybuzz I will be following you carefully lol. Nice that we are sharing a date although I'm sure most of the limes won't arrive on time at all anyway.

KnitterNotTwitter · 16/07/2010 00:34

Glad you like the stats - it was a very quiet day at work and I thought I might as well do it while I had the time...! I also maintain the stats on the Feb 2011 thread where I started out so I just copied the format I've used on there and put the Late Jan Gang data in!!

It was a late one for me yesterday as i was trying to finish the cardigan I'm knitting for my sister.

But i do find i'm sleeping more lightly though which is annoying - grrr.

BubbaAndBump · 16/07/2010 17:52

Scan went well today, although I was there for nearly three hours in the end!! Wiggly little bean, kicking and punching away at the poor sonographer Another naughty monkey for us

LadyBuzz · 16/07/2010 17:57

bubba thats great news.

knitter those stats are fab thanks.

Well today has been interesting, I have been having issues since the very start of this pg with a hormonal implant piercing, and today it had to go - it was soooo painful. Hopefully it will heal nicely and not give me anymore gip!

Both DSs are poorly too poor little mites, very hot and grumpy. roll on bedtime.

BubbaAndBump · 16/07/2010 18:02

Poor you LadyB - pg with grizzly DCs is not fun. definitely a takeaway night (I feel we may lead each other astray on this thread! )

Thanks knitter for doing the stats - I kept meaning to update the list every time someone new joined but just cba

Hello everyone. I haven't been on here for a while, but had my scan on Thurs which was very exciting.

The only thing that I am slightly anxious about is that everyone told me it was great as you could see it move loads and people on here have said theirs was very wriggly. Mine was fairly still - a couple of times it brought its hand to its face and then sort of doubled up a bit, which the sonographer didn't like as it meant it was harder to measure, but there was no kicking and punching as has been mentioned. The sonographer didn't seem to think it was a problem though. Is this just me being silly?

My EDD according to scan is now 25th Jan - Burns night - so me and dh are calling it our little haggis. Good to hear everyone's good news!

BubbaAndBump · 17/07/2010 08:15

Don't worry moulesfrites it just means your little bean was trying to have a kip, whereas mine was rudely awakened by the sonographer and was letting her know what she thought of it. Previous scans (on previous DCs) have had them quiet and calm sometimes. Really nothing to worry about. Once you start feeling it move later on, you'll get used to its sleep and awake times (often opposite from yours just to keep you on your toes ;) )

aly323 · 17/07/2010 09:59

Moules, I agree completely with Bubba*. I had a short us on monday and baby didn't move at all. Dr saidd must be sleeping, I looked around the internet and found loads of people who also had sleepy babies during ultrasounds. On Thru, at the long one, baby started off sleeping for first 10 minutes, then went to some slow stretching, head rubbing and a little moving. Later (whole thing took 30 to 40 minutes, I couldn't see, but DH said there was a quick burst of lots of movement. I wish I could have seen that past.

Actually, what I would really like to see move right now, is my placenta. Silly thing is currently covering my cervix and I'm not a big fan of all I'm reading about possible complications from placenta previa. Not really fair. I mean ms, put on insulin at 4 weeks AND placenta previa by 12 weeks? I thought this was supposed to be fun!

LadyBuzz · 17/07/2010 10:01

Moules I second what bubba said, DS2 was never awake on his scans DS1 jumped about like a loon, and this one hid and covered its face

I am also due on the 25th from my scan, which is also my birthday!! so sorry salt&vinegar but you are now due before me!
Although I will prob be a week early if I have a CS.

All perfectly normal, also for all the first timers don't worry if you can't feel any movement for a while I didn't feel DS1 until about 22 weeks or so, some people will feel it earlier but that aswell is normal.
