Looking for some fellow late Januaryers to whisper about BFPs for late Jan 2011!! Just taken the test this afternoon and thrilled to be pg with #3 potentially (two DDs who are 19m and 3y). Anyone else out there?

knackered so sorry to hear you're news.

saltnvinigarcrips · 04/07/2010 11:03

For those who have already had their booking appointments, what kind of medical history questions do they ask because I might need to call home to check answers first.

FloraPost · 04/07/2010 12:18

Salt, everything really. Operations, experience of anaesthetic, blood transfusions, congenital conditions, allergies, current medication, previous pregnancies (if any). There are also questions for the father which are mostly around lifestyle and heritable conditions. I also got asked how I intend to feed the prawn and whether I wanted veggie food in hospital. All fairly basic stuff where you would know if you were affected.

BubbaAndBump · 04/07/2010 13:22

Also family medical history - can go to cousins & their kids if there's something hereditary. Both yours and partner's btw

knackered - only just picked up your message. Am SO sorry. Don't really know what else to say. Thinking of you (((hugs)))

Fuzzywood · 05/07/2010 20:35

Hi all, how is everyone today? First scan for me tomorrow for some reason feeling really nervous, it's first thing so will report back tomorrow.

BubbaAndBump · 05/07/2010 21:11

Good luck Fuzzy

Also good luck to LadyB

saltnvinigarcrips · 05/07/2010 22:36

Good luck Fuzzy. Not sure when mine is going to be but hoping (optimistically) I might be able to get one during booking appointment (tomorrow) as I will be almost in my 12 week then.
On another note, did anyone take their DH/DP with them to booking appointment. Mine has taken the day off work to come with me but have just read a thread saying they don't need to go so feel a bit bad now

saltnvinigarcrips · 05/07/2010 22:39

ooh and another thing, is anyone else developing a belly yet? I can't work out if i'm bloated, putting on weight or actually showing. As i've never been pregnant before I was wondering if anyone knew how to tell the difference between all three? Thanks.

FloraPost · 06/07/2010 07:07

Ooh, can't wait to hear back about the scans. Good luck!

My DP came to the booking appointment because he wants to come to everything . His presence wasn't really necessary in terms of giving information though.

My trousers are tighter but it is definitely bloating and not the prawn. I think Amazon sells trouser extender things to make your normal clothes last a bit longer, I'm going to have a look tonight.

LadyBuzz · 06/07/2010 07:29

Good Luck fuzzy

Thanks bubba i'm a tiny bit nervous, still I only have to wait til 9:20!

salt my don't fasten any more but I am on my third. I was def in mat clothes at 12 ish weeks with the first though!

BubbaAndBump · 06/07/2010 08:57

I'm def showing a baby bump, look about 5 months already but it's my 3rd. With my 1st I was showing properly at 4months, but there was a 'thickening' of the waste (sounds just gorgeous doesn't it) before that. By 2nd I was showing at 12 weeks. Baby bump is often more sticky out than bloating or just putting on weight, both of which kind of gather everywhere

DH came to the booking appt with 1st pregnancy - everything's new and exciting and I think it's lovely he wants to be part of it all. Let him come, and then hold your hand while they nick all your blood!!

mimster · 06/07/2010 10:43

I am with you Bubba - there's no hiding my bulge. But it's also my third. I showed earlier with each pregnancy. Bring on the elasticated waists

The good news from me is I had a scan yesterday - and saw my little bean! Such a lovely relief to see it squirming about with it's little hands and feet waving. I have also jumped forward 5 days, so am now 12 weeks on the nose and due on 19th July.

Godd luck to everyone who has scans to come - am keeping my fingers crossed for you.

mimster · 06/07/2010 10:45

19th January - duh!

Fuzzywood · 06/07/2010 10:46

So we have a baby, we have a heart beat, we have the right measurements for the dates and we even got a wave. Very relieved and great to see it at last.
Lady B hope yours went well too.
Definitely starting to show as well, will have to start telling people soon.

BubbaAndBump · 06/07/2010 12:51

Good news for you both mimster and Fuzzy Congrats

LadyBuzz · 06/07/2010 12:59

Great news mimster and fuzzy
Mine was there too all complete with its little beating heart
It was being shy though and she could hardly see it, BUT I still get my dating scan next Tue so will get to see it all again

She has put me at 10w 5 days but they will confirm next week I think.

I'm so relieved!

Mat pants it is for me then

BubbaAndBump · 06/07/2010 13:30

Hurray LadyB !! That's fantastic news, I've been checking in every few minutes to see if you had updated. Sooooo pleased for you. Fingers crossed for all other scans for everyone too

OP posts:
LadyBuzz · 06/07/2010 16:00

Thanks bubba oh yeah and there was DEF only 1 baby - I made her double check

knackered76 · 06/07/2010 16:58

Sorry, hijacking momentarily and then slinking off again into the dark Thank you all for your kind thoughts. Had my erpc today and all went fine, even managed to get an afternoon in bed at home with DH looking after the mini ones (my dd has a school disco, too cute as she's only 5!).

Fab news about good scans

We're going to play it by ear TTC again, still in two minds but don't feel that rushed to make a decision. Likelihood this one wasn't successful due to chromosome abnormalities but seeing as I have 2 healthy children the doctor can't see an issue with it happening again.

Over and out !

LadyBuzz · 06/07/2010 17:14

Good news knackered, glad you are feeling ok with things. All the best for the future x

Fuzzywood · 06/07/2010 19:11

All the best Knackered
Lady B and Mimster glad all went well for you too. Right I'm off to change into some bigger trousers, there isn't room for me, mini one and my dinner!

saltnvinigarcrips · 06/07/2010 22:48

Great news about everyone's scans. I had my booking appointment today and have my 12 week scan booked for Wednesday. Can't wait
DH was good company at the scan so glad he came along despite the fact he wasn't well (man cold!).

knackered76 · 07/07/2010 00:13

Sorry, back again but honestly I will go!!!

Bubba - just picked up your message on another thread, thank you so much you are quite scrummy . Strangely I was thinking of you today when eating my brie and basil sandwich, I think I shall forever link you with brie!!!!!

Honestly, truly, over and out

flossie75 · 07/07/2010 19:47

Great to hear about everyones positive scans. Got just a week to wait now till mine. Feeling really nervous although there are definitely still things going on with my body.
