Looking for some fellow late Januaryers to whisper about BFPs for late Jan 2011!! Just taken the test this afternoon and thrilled to be pg with #3 potentially (two DDs who are 19m and 3y). Anyone else out there?

I have told my boss (fine) but the girl I work with can be a right cowbag and I am dreading telling her, I am in a 2 person office/team and we have had a vacancy freeze for ALL admin posts including Mat leave [worried]

WYG you do whatever you need to to keep yourself at ease.
I had a scan at approx 7 weeks after mine and it nearly nekilled me waiting for my 12 weeks one. If it helps you don't feel bad about it at all.

Hi to everyone else, hope you are all ok

BubbaAndBump · 25/06/2010 17:48

You are more than welcome LadyB - the only question is... Chinese or Indian tonight?

careylouwho · 26/06/2010 09:30

Hey ladies,

Sorry I've not been a very good poster - I can't access site at work and I come home and collapse every night after dinner so no internet for me!

I am also eating way more unhealthy stuff than I usually do, including lots and lots of bread and cheese. My ravenous hunger seems to be easing up though, so I managed a few salads for lunch this week (they were HUGE though ).

I had my scan week and all looked well. My new EDD is January 18th so I'm 10+4 today! Feeling very relieved as I was terrified all week that things wouldn't be okay.

I hope things are going well for all of you too!

Oh and take-way ladies (you know who you are) last night we opted for Dominoes pizza

flossie75 · 29/06/2010 19:16

Haven't been on here much the last few days - did the Race for Life on Sunday. Well at least walk for life! No way I could've run my boobs still hurt way too much - to say nothing of the fact I'd probably have passed out.

Glad to see all the posts about junk food, I seem to swap between wanting savoury (crisps) and sweet (sweets or icecream - or both).

Now I'm fancying chinese.......

jjkm not so much hoping for but my SIL is convinced i'm having twins. Will know for sure on the 13th!

I'm just so tired at the mo it seems to be getting worse not better. If I do anything at all I am wiped out by 4pm.
Can't wait for this part to be over!

flossie well done you! I did the heart Foundation walk at about this stage with DS2 - ~I was knackered!

BubbaAndBump · 29/06/2010 20:21

I was hoping for twins, but just the one in there - but little bugger #3's making me absolutely pooped at the mo - either that or it's my two noisy, demanding, squabbling permanently on speed little buggers sweet DCs!

Still over 2 weeks till scan arghhhhhhhhhhhhh

Bugger! Re-posting as the crossing out took me ages so you have to be suitably impressed!

Lucky you, jjkm, I still feel fully crap if I have to do anything other than eat or sleep like. One of my colleagues guessed today due to my recent erratic attendance and the vast stash of snack food in my desk. I am now tucked up in bed with some toast and sliced apples hoping for a good day tomorrow.

On a positive note I had my booking appointment today at the hospital, which was rather fun, with a lovely midwife and a lovely student midwife. Just need to sit tight for 3 weeks now until the scan. I don't really mind as we already have a picture of the prawn from the EPU. Also, if the scan does pick up any abnormalities we will have to decide there & then how we want to proceed. Of course everything will probably be fine but it could be quite an intense day.

I hope we all start following jjkm's example soon and rejoin the rest of the human race!

Hi All

Scan was great yesterday !!!! Such a different experience going private. We heard the heart beat and were able to ask questions and there was a screen in the ceiling which we could both see. It wriggled about a bit which was great - can't believe I can't feel when it moves! Really pleased we went. Got some lovely photos that actually look like a baby - in one of them It is actually facing out - you can see 2 black eyes, nose and face etc and obviously the arms and legs! It's 4.1cm long! They gave a due date of 18 Jan and said I was 11 weeks today (please can someone change me on the list when we next do it) so am a bit further on. Everything feels different now! Got to dash now xx

WestYorkshireGirl · 30/06/2010 06:38

Sorry - that was 11 weeks yesterday so I now 11+1 obviously!

Fuzzywood · 30/06/2010 12:59

WYG great news, glad it went well. It's so weird seeing them move but not being able to feel it though you're right. Dating scan for me next Tues, still have this nagging doubt they'll find nothing and think I'm a big fraud. Clearly the nausea, indegestion and tiredness are making me slightly crazy. Nearly bought another pg test yesterday to check! Losing my mind.
Hope everyone starts to feel better soon.

knackered76 · 30/06/2010 21:04

Hi all,

Been otherwise engaged for a while. Good to hear lots going well and those delightful symptoms are treating us as they should! All going fine here apart from the tiredness, but then I was knackered before I was pregnant so no reason why it should change!

Found out the other day a friend is pregnant after 3 yrs TTC and 3 miscarriages. She has her 12 week tomorrow and soooooo nervous for her. Fingers crossed all is okay and then our munchkins will be born within a few days of each other

I have a private scan on friday as I am far too impatient to wait until 12 weeks and although I have no reason to think things aren't going fine I still want to know for sure!

I have gone off chocolate bars Not sure how to fill the void this strange turn created in me!

Shanster · 01/07/2010 20:35

knackered, I too am off chocolate which is so odd for me. In fact all cakes/biscuits in general are not good. I ate a slice of cheesecake last night and have been feeling rubbish all day. Have another 4 weeks to wait for my next scan, am 9+3 today and time really seems to be dragging. I just want to feel normal again!

Booked a flight home today for October when I'll be 5.5 months. Must be mad to travel alone with a toddler on my lap for an 8 hour flight, but this will probably be my last opportunity for a while!

Hi folks, haven't posted for awhile as been away. I am now 10 + 1 day and still haven't had my booking appointment it is next week when I will almost be in my 12th week and I know there is no scan at the same time. I was just wondering whether at the booking appointment they listen for a heartbeat or something? Really would like some reassurance that everything is okay. Not sure if everything is so delayed because I'm in London.
