I have an answer for that too TicTac - send DH to live in Dublin 4 days a week - then you get the whole bed to yourself and no snoring at all .

Teuch - yes, last couple of days have had a slight one. Thought I might not have drunk enough fluids, but wondering if it might just be pg related, as I got a lot of them last year too.

JuA · 09/08/2005 13:45

I am going to buy a pillow like this

My sleeping has been all over the place - sometimes I have been wide awake for over an hour - but last night I slept all night - much better!

chloe55 · 09/08/2005 13:45

I have always suffered from headaches and migraines and was quite impressed that I hadn't had one for a few months up until a couple of days ago and since then I have had a continuous dull ache, just hope the migraines stay away (fingers crossed).

I am getting very low abdomen pains for the past few hours, they are not very painful - more like a bit of a cramp. Have been getting used to the stabbing/stretching pains but this feels slightly different, I'm sure nothing to worry about but is anyone else still getting the odd period type pain?

Hi Ladies,

Just reading about you guys not sleeping well - I have started peeing loads during the night which is starting to annoy me but does reassure me that I will cope with night feeds!!

I normally sleep on my back, I have tried to sleep on my side more but I wake up on my back. Is it now that we cant sleep on our backs because it may harm the baby??????? Or is that to come later on???

BarefootMama · 09/08/2005 14:10

Headaches and the delights of constipation for me! Cant wait to tell children in the hope that they will try to be good when they know!! ( some hope) 14 + this week so will tell them soon!

Tabs · 09/08/2005 14:16

3k - think I read that it's after about 20 wks that we shouldn't sleep on backs. Anyone able to confirm?

Tabs · 09/08/2005 14:17

Barefootmama - constipation - welcome to my world

BarefootMama · 09/08/2005 14:29

Tabs its so awful - i get preoccupied by it! DP comes home in an evening and says 'well?' - sorry if its tmi but i dont like it i am normally so regular!!!!!!!!

Tabs · 09/08/2005 14:36

Did you see this thread ?

I'm using lactolose at the mo, and eating a few figs or prunes each day.

BarefootMama · 09/08/2005 14:43

Thanks tabs - prune juice it is for me then!!! I think it sounds bearable chilled!!

TicTac · 09/08/2005 15:19

Jua - I am getting one of those too, they look great don't they!

Tabs - Do you know of any jobs in Dublin I can send DH to...sounds like a plan

Chloe - I have been getting a few grizzly odd feeling cramps recently, not too bad today but they have been there the last couple of days.

General - I never knew it was a problem to sleep on the bak at any time...blimey, tell me more...I feel like there is so much I don't know. I do read a lot honest

I don't remember anything about not sleeping on your back when pregnant with dd? Is that new advice? I am finding that the most comfortable at the moment. ALthough I don't expect it will stay comfortable!!

spacecadet · 09/08/2005 16:16

hi everyone
I was always advised not to sleep on my back once i had asubstantial bump sleeping posistions
sounds like everyone is in the same boat re;ailments, i always suffer badly with constipation im afraid and the bloated feeling is quite unbearable, i look about 7 months gone!

TicTac · 09/08/2005 17:29

Thanks for the link space. Looks like I am lucky on this one... I sleep on my left side most of the time anyway

OP posts:
spacecadet · 09/08/2005 17:31

i do to, so that i can aggravate dh by snoring in his face!

TicTac · 09/08/2005 18:29

LOL... I sleep that way so I can get DH's face out of mine!!

Frizbe · 09/08/2005 19:50

Lol Chloe, sorry but your incident has made me chortle!

JuA good idea re the pillow, I think I still have mine, or did I lend it someone....must go and look!

I always remember when pregnant with dd I could only lie on one side, as she kicked and kicked when I rolled over in the night, often waking me up....women eh!

TicTac · 09/08/2005 20:18

All a bit quiet on here tonight....nobody else a football widow then? Dh is bedded in the couch to watch Man U... Harrumph!
