Abfab If you lied and told them that you lived somewhere you didn't then yes you would be, but I was more thinking if you knew someone who has kids who would be able to get some nappies on your behalf.

Silver We really need a shovel smilie don't we.

Guys if a mole has just randomly appeared, shall I get that checked?

Not to be TMI but it appeared on my aerola a few weeks ago (never been there before), thought it might have been a random side effect of breasts changing.

hermya nowt to lose in getting it checked.

vikks ouch doesn't sound good. All these things you don't get warned about

Had really shit sleep. Got restless legs which are worse at night & kept waking me. Am so exhausted dh helped me to bathroom this am( next room) and he has taken the kids. Only two things stopping me going to GP and sitting sobbing til they fix me are I'd have to walk there as it's nearer than my car(next st) and dds are going away this week & I don't want to be sent to hospital & lose tonight/ tomorrow with them. Plus dd1 is worriedenough about me.

RooBear · 26/05/2010 09:17

Morning everyone, think your physic nymph I was coming on to ask if anyone has had trouble sleeping! I've been awake since 3am, not sure why. Can't wait for my scan next tues, and like you sliver will have to remember to tell the sonographer not to tell us!

PatsyIsPreggers · 26/05/2010 09:50

Morning all

Had some good news yesterday as DH sold his company and we have some savings in the bank now which means I can take full year maternity leave. Woohoo! (stayed away from the champagne though !)

LO must have been chuffed with the good news too because I'm SURE I felt little kicks / punches for the first time! (or may have been the icecream I ate half an hour before going to bed - I had to celebrate somehow!) It was like a little prodding feeling quite low down in my tummy. .

Scan's tomorrow so hopefully will see it wriggling around then. Not going to find out if it's pink / blue though as DH really doesn't want to know. He'd like to be the first one to say 'it's a boy/girl' when it's born, and I think it'll be nice to have a surprise.

Poor you Roo and Nymph. Hope you can catch up on sleep with some little naps during the day... Though realise that's probably not likely.

Sorry to hear about your pains Vikks. Hope they ease off more and you're scan goes well.

PatsyIsPreggers · 26/05/2010 09:53

Oh, and Hermya I would get the mole checked if I were you or at least mention it to ur MW at next appointment. Like Nymph syas - nothing to lose.

Hermya321 · 26/05/2010 10:00

Thanks guys!! I'll mention it to the Doc tomorrow.

Patsy Congratulations on your news!! Thats brilliant!!

Nymph and Roo hope you feel better.

Just been flicking through the channels and have just caught a glimpse of Lazytown, I watched it for a bit. It's a bit of an odd programme isn't it.

roo have you twitchy legs or just not sleeping?

been back to sleep but still not up to much

AbFabT · 26/05/2010 11:11

ILGH, yeah, I am happy for there to be a new stats list. I was thinking we could create a new one when we started a new 10/10 thread anyway.

Hermya, ok, I'll think about the nappy thing. Thanks.
Go get your mole checked. My areola areas have changed too, but mostly just like the darker pigment is spreading - no moles - moles - always get checked! It's probably nothing anyway. Good luck.

Patsy, great that you can have that full year with your baby!

DillyDora · 26/05/2010 11:35

Hi All,

Just a quick check in before zooming off to deliver some training and then off on hols for a week - woohoo!

Good luck with all the mole checks - better to go than not, only 5 minutes, innit?

Nymph hope you're feeling a bit better, sorry about the legs, I get that sometimes and it's sooooooo irritating (actually there is no word to describe it adequately)

Thanks for the birthday wishes, I had a lovely mellow day

Congrats Patsy!

Big love, stay well and I'll be back in touch next week

SamanthaB123 · 26/05/2010 11:49

Morning,

I'm having a bit of a difficult time here and am cross and upset. I called my doctor's surgery for the results of my uti test and they haven't got them even though I was assured that they would be available today. I could be taking the wrong anti-biotics and no-one knows without the results. I have also been exposed to chickenpox at school. I have had to have a blood test to check my immunity and am just waiting for the results. Although the microbiology people say the results will be available today my idiotic doctor's say that it isn't possible and even if the results are there they can't give them to me today because the medical secretary doesn't work late enough. I can't go back to work until I have the result of the immunity test yet there is no urgency or understanding. My hormones aren't helping, I just want to sit down and cry for a bit.

Hope everyone else is having a better day. I think a new stats list is a good idea too.

SB x

Vikks · 26/05/2010 11:52

I've had my scan!!!!
Everything looks great but they couldn't do all the checks because baby was not cooperating. Plus legs were tight shut and I still don?t know if it?s a boy or a girl. I was so excited to find out too. They?ve booked us in for another one in 3 weeks.

I got home and decided I can?t wait that long and have just booked a private gender scan for Sunday! So four more days of not knowing. But just thankful baby is healthy.

I vote for new stats list too, I think a few people have left us.

Dilly Enjoy your hols!
Pasty Congratulations on the year (I'm hoping for that too )

Vikks · 26/05/2010 11:54

X-post Sam sorry to hear your news. x

DillyDora · 26/05/2010 12:08

O Sam I'm really sorry - remember the antibiotics and the infection in themselves can make you feel very down and weepy. So sorry the surgery are being a**es

Congrats Vikks, perhaps you have a very modest girl?!

xx

nymphadora · 26/05/2010 12:15

sam I'll sit & join you in the sobbing.

I feel so weak. heart has been racing on and off and I'm exhausted. I got down stairs and apart from getting a sandwich and drink I've not left my chair. I phoned dh just for some sympathy and he couldnt answer so I've been sat sobbing which doesnt help.

SamanthaB123 · 26/05/2010 12:17

Vikks Having a scan is so rewarding isnt' it? I was on cloud nine for days after my 12 week scan, just deleriously happy. Glad the baby seemed fine, you are going to be seeing lots of him/her with all the scans you have coming up now, how lovely!

I'm fine, just frustrated...SB x

nymphadora · 26/05/2010 12:20

Dh & I also talked about cancelling HAy too
Even if he drops me off before parking the car just walking round the site may be too much

KSal · 26/05/2010 12:21

Sam sorry you're having a frustrating/worrying time. I find it one of the things about the NHS is that they don't have much appreciation for the fact that people have to work... also time seems to run really slowly in NHS land. I hope your test result comes back ok.

RooBear I love timmy time (possibly more than my DD who was dancing to the theme music last night)

Finally starting to relax a bit and work is improving (just getting through a stressful bit and going to try to keep it low key from now on)

have been feeling the baby for quite a while now (but this is number 2) but really enjoying quite regular strong movements, its so comforting now the scan has shown no probs.

KSal · 26/05/2010 12:22

Boo to cancelling Hay nymph you're having such a rubbish time.

can he take you in a wheelbarrow?

PatsyIsPreggers · 26/05/2010 12:23

Sam The people at your surgery sound like they're being a load of uncooperative bumcakes. The last thing you need when you're pregnant is to be so worried like this. Perhaps your could just try and make the best the time off work (even if you need to get back)? Put your feet up, watch daytime TV, have some chocolate.

Vikks glad ur scan went well. Is ur gender scan going to be a 3D one? wonder what they're like. Anyone had one?

Thanks for your comments girls. I've been really hoping that i'd be able to take the time off. Just wish DH's business had been worth millions and then I could have been a SAHM. Still, there's time for him to earn millions

Katy86 · 26/05/2010 12:27

Samantha im sorry youre having such a hard time. dont really know what to suggest but sometimes crying makes you feel better. But i hope your bloody doctors get their act together

nymph im so sorry youre not doing great either please rest and i hope your feeling stronger very soon.

Vikks soooo glad the scan went well and make sure you let us know the sex on sunday! awwww how exciting!xxx

Hermya321 · 26/05/2010 12:29

Sam Gosh thats rubbish, I always thought the receptonist could give them out, thats what always happened when I've had tests.

OP posts:
PatsyIsPreggers · 26/05/2010 12:30

Poor you nymph lol at KSal's wheelbarrow idea though. Hope you feel better in time to go to Hay

nymphadora · 26/05/2010 12:44

I suggested a wheelbarrow last night They have those fab old fashioned deckchairs too and I suggested since I couldnt get back out of one that I could have some stweards carry me in one.

sam Is it the surgery has the results and the GP has to see them first? Thats what happens at mine & we have to phone after 3pm.
