Off to school now to do my bit for the children's edukashun. Off camping this arvo so won't be back till Monday I expect. YOB came home from camping shop sale last night with a new sleeping mat for me (hurrah - last one had a hole in) and new tent - sleeps 10 but is rooooomy for 3 1/2 of us. Tent will have a room for me N YOB, a room for LC, a room for babs when he's big enough and an additional room for storage and a loo, plus a central living area/kitchen AND a porch! Good job we have a 12 seater landie for our low cost, low impact camping trips .

I am being to paranoid/superstitious/menkul to join you proper, but would be muchly appreciative of some PESHly advice..... Mostly 'stuff' related - there is pretty much feck all you can get here, but I have a colleague coming over in a couple of weeks so am gonna get a-online-ordering...

What is the wisdom on the best thing for stretch marks?
Any good preggo books that are heavy on FACT and light on opinion and teethgrinding patronisation....?
What other 'stuff' have you found useful in the first 6 months? We are due to be home in September, which if all goes well will be about 6/7 months - anything you have found tres useful? (assume I am utterly unprepared and have nothing of any use whatsoever...)

Off to docs this morning to find out what antenatal care I might expect...
