honeymoo Sorry, so excited about polpot's news. Congrats on your 12 week scan! Relaxing now?

reggie the nekkid dancing is a tradition around these parts, when someone gets a BFP it's enough to make us whip off our clothes and start dancing. It's all normal around here.

As for the weird dreams - not just for mum! Jailbait dreamt this week that the gubberment were trying to take all the baybees to harvest their sperm/eggs for a breeding programme. I believe there were also zombies involved. As for your baybee being a pizza - you'll need to confer with cosmosis who is planning on having an artichoke.

Speaking of Cosssie - I can't remember if I mentioned it before but it really made me giggle. Cossie my sweet, you've been absolutely adamant you don't want to know the sex of Artie(choke), but you've started doing mad shit such as spinning a pendant over your belly and consulting African witch doctors, non?

Soz that was all vey me me me. HoneyMoo congrats on scan!

rollerbaby · 17/04/2010 09:33

Don't be silly, is v v v exciting and now you can stop pissing on sticks ok?!!

Am staring at my scan pictures going - can't believe that baybee is in my tum tum. Very amazing thing, nature.

Yep ski feeling waaaaaay more relaxed now. And the good news is that once I get my NHS appointment through I get to do this all again.

Lovely weekend all.

OkieCokie · 17/04/2010 14:32

Wahey for Polster. I am so pleased for you as I know it has taken some time. Here have this celebratory champagne cocktail with a sparkler in and this wedge of brie.

Me and Mr C are fighting at the moment all because or the Spurs V Chelsea game which he has gone to 3.5 hrs early. Why does he need to go 3.5 hrs early to a frigging football match when I am on day 3 of a pregnancy related headache and could do with a bit of help today? Unreasonable he called me (me, me!!?? AIBU???) Selfish I called him. He said he won't come to some friends with me for lunch tomorrow as I am being so unreasonable and I told him he could think again to coming to the 12 week scan then. Oh how petty. Anyway, he has gone to the match (did I say 3.5 hrs early?) so me and mini cokie may go to the park when he wakes up.

How often would you lot take paracetemol?? I usually pop drugs at first signs of headahce but I am trying to limit my consumption. The last one I took was at 3am this morning. My head is banging. I recall having at 5 day headache at 10 weeks last time. Weird huh??

Honey glad to hear you are still on cloud nine.

skihorse · 17/04/2010 15:18

honey It's brilliant isn't it? Seeing it properly I mean and being able to make out tiny wriggly arms & legs. I felt a lot better after it because I knew that at least I had (minmimum!) 2 arms & 2 legs! Wait until you get your 20 week scan you will be utterly blown away by the detail.

Jailbait has just taken me out to lunch and bought me a special "normal style" remote control to work the x-box as a DVD player. Me like - and less chance of him getting shouted at. We were looking at video cameras and I said "no WAY are you filming the birth" but then I thought I wouldn't mind him videoing Julian aged 2 minutes or something. Has anyone else had thoughts about preserving that magical moment but without their vagina being plastered over a 42" screen?

okie I've been sick this week and have been chucking back 3000mg a day (packet suggests this is adult limit) - except Tuesday where I chucked back 4000 and ended up in tears the next day thinking I'd keelt him. I wouldn't want to take this many long term but I figure for 3 days it's "ok".

I had a bit of a meltdown last night when I realised I'd not felt him move for 15 hours, I ended up in tears and we squidged my tummy until he responded (rudely awoken?) and jailbait heard the heartbeat. I just had a total panic because of being ill all week and all the paracetamol/anti-morning sickness - but I probably did feel him but was so busy yesterday maybe it just didn't register. So we went out to buy a doppler today and the bastard shop didn't sell them.

I'm still so excited and happy for polly - I've always had a girl crush on her.

carrotsarenottheonlyvegetable · 17/04/2010 18:30

Yuck okie, I had a few weeks of blinders at around your stage, and I'm just not a headache kinda gal. I did also resort to drugs as I just wasn't functioning. I then had a neck problem (unrelated to preg) and took co-codamol after much research. However, on the amount to take - def see the doctor/MW as you obv want to limit it as much as poss while still being able to actually live.

polly I'm still

honey brilliant news re your scan! It's fab seeing it isn't it!

ski I have had days like that where he's not moved (or I've missed it). It's always ok. Usually he then keeps me up all night! You can try lying down for a bit and rubbing your tum gently to get a reaction if you are worried.

reg I saw a dodo in the natural history museum. You could try stealing it and if you're caught claim you are "a pregnant woman, get your hands off me or I'll sue you for sexual discrimination". Or something.

rollerbaby · 17/04/2010 19:19

Thanks peshes it were brill. Saw mini touching toes and turning over...sniff! Can't wait for next one. Have convinced mr moo to have another halfway house scan between now and 20 weeks to see if we can see sex earlier...

Okie and Ski I can't believe no one told me I can have paracetemol!!! Have got sore throat and swollen glands and feel like poo today. Off to neck some pronto. How much is too much?

Okie men are so funny about football. Luckily mr moo hates it too but I do sympathise. Let's hope his team wins. Or not! By the way, up for yoga classes but worried I won't be able to get back in time from work to get to Wandsworth... are they def the only times? I think weekends would be better for me as leaving at 5.30 on the dot is a bit of a stress for me...let me have a think. Thanks for looking in to it - really appreciate it and do want to do it!

What an amazing day - hope you've all been firing up the barbies.

CurlyCasper · 17/04/2010 19:33

ski I bought a pocket camcorder the other week with new baby etc in mind. No plans to film actual birth though!

woo hoooooooo! for the confirmed diffedpolly!

OkieCokie · 17/04/2010 20:02

Honey bizarrely Mr C isn't really into football either. He is a part time fan and often forgets to watch his team on the telly. I can count on one had the number of live matches he has been too, clearly the post and pre match piss up is what he is all excited about. I have chilled out now though. Re yoga, I am pretty easy really. The Vitality doesn't seem to do weekend courses but I will double check. Could do the one near me at 6 on Sun unless there is another somewhere, happy to come to your neck of the woods too.

I too am still excited about Poo.

Ski we cought camcorder about 6 weeks after mini C was born. It would have been nice to have one earlier, but they really don't do anything other than lie there. There would be no way I would allow one in the delivery room - it would bloody end up on You Tube!

carrotsarenottheonlyvegetable · 17/04/2010 20:45

take a look

OkieCokie · 17/04/2010 20:47

I don't think I can...

carrotsarenottheonlyvegetable · 17/04/2010 23:11

Oh go on, it's worth it

skihorse · 18/04/2010 06:46

lol @ rots - your personal censor has already had that clip removed from youtube!

What on earth was it?

CUNextTuesday · 18/04/2010 13:33

It's too hot outside for Rasti. So even though cunties are enjoying it I've had to ome in and tidy my room

Ponymum · 18/04/2010 13:46

MrP has bravely taken the foal to Ikea (fule!) so I have been sorting out her old tiny baby clothes to put aside for little bump. It's making me a bit gushy so had to stop. I may now take the opportunity to tackle my ladygarden. Think I'm going to need a strategically placed mirror...

CurlyCasper · 18/04/2010 14:29

I have been ironing. Joy. Overdid it yesterday with house sorting and furniture dismantling and annoyed at how little you can actually pack until an exact moving date is in sight. ...Although my wardrobe contents are smallest they've been in years thanks to lack of stuff that fits around my vast midriff and growing thighs .

Tried time in sun but have given up. Now stuck to sofa and a little breathless. Naptime methinks, but not till I have found a solution to sweaty thighs under summer dresses. I'm seriously considering investing in some long leg cotton knickers in preparation for a sticky summer

CurlyCasper · 18/04/2010 14:30

Have fun pony. I bought some Nair etc yesterday, but can't be arsed actually tackling it all. SFF thinks I should give him a go

CUNextTuesday · 18/04/2010 17:01

carrotsarenottheonlyvegetable · 18/04/2010 17:25

I am knackered and am shortly going to sleep. Have been gardening like a nutter in prep for viewing on Wed. Garden starting to look nice though. I even cleaned a greenhouse (we have, stupidly, two as YOB's parents were V keen gardeners) and so will have some space to start seeds next week. A bit late for some but should be ok. YOB has rotivated the veg patch which looks great now - so no excuses, I have to grow my own this year!

The link still works for me but you have to have a YouTube registration to view it as you have to be over 18 (same for most involving childbirth). Anyway, it's talking about how some woman actually orgasm while in childbirth! I've come across it before but what it really focused on was relaxing in CB which made it interesting, and how those who really relaxed could get the same effect coming out as going in, as it were .

Slightly titillating (LOL) but actually taking that out, it's an interesting take on approaching CB. Someone mentioned converting "pain" to "sensations". Now this may be waaaayyyyy utter stupidity for most, but if it's possible, sounds fab, non?

Right, I'm gonna sleep.

Hmm
CurlyCasper · 18/04/2010 18:58

Genuis idea cuntster will give it a bosh - thanks.

rots well done for all the gardening. Exhausted just thinking about it. And clearly I already have a penchant for dodgy YouTube clips cause I could watch it . Actually I vaguely remembers siging up as an over 18 so I could watch birth videos

There are some amazing vids on there of babies moving inside tummies. Proper "Alien" stuff

well, after my efforts outside today, I was asleep in bed for 2 and a half hours this afternoon. If I can't sleep at night, I'll take the afternoon. No mistaking the third tri then!

PollyPoo · 19/04/2010 08:33

Morning. I think this baybee does not want to be born at christmas

Had a temp drop this morning, lowest of the triphasic - in fact I think it back in the biphasic realm ifkwim.

www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2b93a5

Thought I'd POAS to stop myself worrying, hoping for a big fat line but have the palest crappest ever.

I am panicking like an a menkul. This is all my fault for being so smug about SIL. That, and helping Jane drag a boat up the slipway yesterday.

I've still got the progesterone pessaries in my drawer, do you think it will do any good to start using them? I guess if the pregnancy hormone is dropping then progesterone won't do much anyway. Oh fuck I don't know what to do. I am all shaky.
