Oh, we didn't want to find out the sex - not that the sonographer even mentioned the possibility! I'm sure we could have asked. The sonographer said his wife is due to have a baby any day and he did scan her, but skimmed over the area very quickly as he didn't want to know. He got a colleague to do the full scan!

stac14 · 12/03/2010 18:53

kapars email them ask about the voucher you need to take to boots or sainsburys

Love the name ideas, my contribution is 'Bouncing along towards the 3rd tri - drop in to say hi' crap i know lol. Need to sort it as we're running out of space x

Hi guys, thank you for ue well wishing.
I wasnt too bad a day in the end, DH step mom was obviously distressed but we were able to do some jobs and make some calls on her behalf and go and pick up his belongings from the hospital etc so at least DH feels like he has done something. The funeral will be horrid though as there is some anamosity between families and within families, just really hope they all leave it behind for the day.
Chulita Vom day for you then, nasty, bless, does she seem ok within herself? Lets hope if its a bug you dont get it.I forgot to say, when i went to the hospital for my consultants appointement on thursday there was a box of bounty packs on the counter and I asked for one coz all the stuff in mine was out of date. In it it had a fairy washing capsule, some horlicks, a pampers newborn nappy and a sample pack of 20 wipes and.........a tiny sudocrem!! Hurrah! so thanks for the offer of posting me one that was really nice of you.
stac what time is ur appointement tomorrow?
MLIC funny!! At least you can think of names i rubbish at that sort of thing.
Berberis good to see baby doing well!
About the eating thing, im not nececcarily hungry but, man, i could just graze all day, i have to make sure i have food with me all the time otherwise i dont feel safe!! I recon im going to balloon now, im showing but not really noticable that much yet, i think that will change in the next few weeks.
Anyhow, have a good weekend everyone xx

stac14 · 12/03/2010 19:01

berberis and emster fab news bout scans, put pics up. emster did they give you the measurements? I didnt get told ours, couldnt judge it as she had magnified the scan for the pics, dont worry baby is just starting to put weight on and i'm sure by 36 wks you will have a healthy weight baby. With ds they told me he would only be 7lbs and 3wks later he was 10lb 6 you will be fine x

Yes, we got a sheet with the measurements on it and also charts with the average lines for each week for each measurements charted and then a 95% line above and a 5% line below. All our measurements were just above the 95% line - hence why I think he meant to say it was measuring big, not measuring small! Plus if you take my EDD as being somewhere between my original date of 18 July and the redate at my first scan of 25 July, in fact the measurements would be inside the 95% lines. Oh well, never mind!

stac14 · 12/03/2010 20:14

they are a nightmare, I asked them if my baby looked big or small and was totally ignored buggers x

Viksam sorry to hear about your FIL, that is really tough but your DP will have something happy to focus on with the baby. Hope you are both ok.

Chulita I'm seconding your bits and pieces - weight increases effort for the new thread, I'm racking up some poundage now! But still only look fat in some clothes, started wearing some clingy wrap around tops and more seats being offered on the train in the last week so finally looking more preggers at last.

Baby kicks are getting stronger but still she goes instantly quiet as soon as I feel big kicks and put my DH's hand on my tummy - naughty baby! I'm 23 weeks on Monday but this is first baby so not too worried but hoping he will feel it soon.

Thank crunchie it is now Friday, I'm really feeling it by the time the weekend comes now. Happy weekend all. Stac I can't wait to hear what the lo is, good luck tmrw! DH hope you get better soon, I had that in my second month and it was grim.

stac14 · 12/03/2010 20:43

flex our lo does the exact same thing lol

I will do the thread if you want? Going with chulita's '3rd trimester bits and pieces, post on here while our weight increases' is this ok with everyone?

You won't be letting either of them down, hopefully he'll have the nasty teeth through by the time the baby comes. Hope he cuts them soon!

berberis · 12/03/2010 21:50

Good luck for today stac

Well I havent been sick since yesterday morning, still feeling really rough though, had pains earlier, was wondering if they were braxton hicks, but seeing as Ive never had them before I wouldnt know but they went when I sat down it was just when I was standing up and moving.
Poor baby hasnt had any food for 36 hours

Jojobil · 13/03/2010 08:34

Thank you stac and let us know the news today!

Chulita · 13/03/2010 11:59

mlic apparently they can cut them in different places, it's called 'cross-cutting', it's unusual but it does happen.
dh, crampy pains that go away when you sit down sounds like they could be bh. DD's got the vomiting bug too and a couple of other people have had it near us, she must've got it from them.
I'm really tired today, going to get my haircut for the first time in 6 months at 2pm, hope they don't say anything about it. I hate it when they go on about getting it cut more often, I just forget!

memphis83 · 13/03/2010 14:54

Thanks for that code stac will have a look on site, its a women in business award, she runs an online baby site for eco nappies and organic baby stuff, not really sure what award is but should be a nice day out!
dh my whole stomach went really hard last night for about 10 mins and I though it could be braxton hicks but the same as you as ive never felt it b4 im not sure if it was
so tired today woke up a lot through night and early this morning feeling winded as baby was having an party in there!
