Hello All,
I am sitting at work on my lunch break now and thought I'd pop in so I don't get too far behind on our thread!
LuckyC Erithromycin always makes me feel so sick whenever I've taken it when not pregnant, I can't imagine how you've coped with that!
MyFirstBump I've just finished our nursery and we went with pale green on one wall and beige on the others!
Hollyoaks Well done for taking matters into your own hands with the cyst! You are a brave woman!
Pigley and AnAngel I hope that you and your DDs are feeling better!
AnAngel glad to hear you got a response from the police about the dog attack, unsettling that someone else had complained the same day as well!
Littleowls I hope you're having a relaxing time!
Gils I hope you have a nice break at Centre Parcs! Will try not to write too much whilst you're away!
Memory so glad that your test results came back ok. Your bump painting is fantastic!
SK I can really relate to the early waking of the child outside the body and the ensuing kicking of the LO within keeping you awake! I've also been having some Braxton Hicks, definitely noticing them more in this pregnancy! I just about stayed awake for Lost last night, too. Have to say that I was hoping for more resolution at this point in the final series!
Pamelat I can really relate to your experience at the garden centre with your DD. I had a day like that with my DS yesterday. He is also very heavy so I feel quite helpless when on my own now as my bump is just too big to wrestle him!
Tomlin poor you, really sounds like yesterday was a nightmare! I hope the weekend isn't too trying with DH away!
Work is really doing my head in. I'm just part time, work weekends only in a ticket office, but 16.5 hours over the 2 days. It pays well, and the benefits are great, the hours suit me. I'll be starting ML on 9 May but have 2 weeks of annual leave starting 25 April leading into ML. It's just been announced by the well-known transport company that I work for that they will be eliminating 450 ticket office positions in the next year (mine being one of them!) and so now I have no idea what job I'm going to come back to. They will have to find a place for me, but it could be anything, anywhere, any shifts really. I hate not knowing what will happen. I feel really . I was a graphic designer for 12 years before I had DS, guess I could always try freelancing again, but who needs the stress in this financial climate and with 2 small children?! Le sigh.
On a happier note, DH and I looked at some prams and I think we agree on the Quinny Buzz. I also got a new lightweight dressing gown for my hospital bag, I'm getting closer to actually packing one!
I hope everyone enjoys Mother's Day tomorrow!
