...now the "Crazy Baby Ladies"!

Had the idea to start this thread because, after getting my BFP on Monday, it suddenly dawned on me that I was going to lose contact with a lot of lovely people. I feel sad every time anyone leaves (though obviously happy for you that you've got your BFP) and thought this might be a nice idea, so that we can continue to keep in touch. After all, we've been through a lot together, haven't we?!

Also, I felt a bit out of my depth on the other threads, where it seemed like most of the members had already had children. There didn't seem to be a "first-timers" thread on here. (Unless I missed it!)

aww thanks for remembering me thats so sweet!! I think I got my BFP around..erm...the...I cant act remember!! It must have been somewhere between 1-5 Nov. So if you just put me in the middle say 3rd Nov. My EDD is 18th July so at least thats clear in my mind!!

I'm not a graduate of your TTC thread but just wanted to say HI!!! to Spirael and Curly

We've met on various threads before and wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS on your pregnancies.

I too am due 31st July/1st Aug (not confirmed yet) so am 12 weeks into a so-far-so-good pregnancy

I'm so glad everything's going well for you so far! We both needed some good news after things didn't go quite to plan last year. Amazing how close our timelines are, though. Just goes to show there might be truth to the fertility burst after MC theory after all.

Everything's fine here too. Had my 12 week scan yesterday (at 13 weeks...) and everything was fine, so I'm finally starting to relax a little and enjoy being pregnant this time around. Helps too that the MS is easing off and I can stay awake beyond the end of work.

Have you got a scan booked for any time soon?

I haven't even had my booking in appointment yet...my midwife was notified when I was 7 weeks but only chose to ring me yesterday So I have an appointment with her tomorrow, which is not a booking appointment, so she can speed through my paperwork and get the scan request through!!!

Honestly I feel like I'm gonna be full term before I get anywhere!!!

Don't worry kaylo I've had my scan, because I had to go and see the consultant, but my booking in is not until Jan 23 (they only phoned last week despite me registering pregnancy with the GP at 7 weeks) I'll be 14 and a half weeks by then! so I know how you feel.

Not just me then. Midwives seem to be all crazy at the moment, well, crazy busy that is.

I'm 7 weeks today, can't believe how fast the time is going, 3 weeks till my booking in appt. Hoping we'll get a lot more grads on this thread soon
With a bit of luck I should also be a grad of a different sort this year too - am currently writing up my PhD, now have a very firm deadline to aim for!

Hi All,

Thanks for the tip-off Curly, I have been lurking on the May thread but haven't posted - the list is far too long and intimidating!! Lovely to be bak with the First Timers!!

So excited to see the graduates list, I hope all of you are very well, and the graduates-to-be will be joining us very soon!

Well, I am almost 22 weeks pregnant and feeling fab! Had morning sickness until about 14 weeks, which wasn't pleasant, but all gone now unless I get really hungry or tired. All my energy is back and since the 18 week scan (I am in Oz, 18 weeks instead of 20 week scan here) feeling like I can start to get a little bit excited! We have been doing some baby shopping - just a little (!) - and that's been really fun.

So how is everyone else doing and feeling?

Wondering should we put scan dates on the list too, or is that me taking my nosiness too far?! I'll be twelve weeks on the 5th of March.

I'm sure you'll get your scan soon, Kaylo! And until then, you could always ask the MW to try and hear the baby's heartbeat during your not-a-booking-in appointment. Just for some peace of mind!

They keep changing the due date whenever I have a scan, WhiteRoses. I paid to have a viability scan at 9 weeks (was nervous after the MC ) and they gave me one date there based on the measurement of the LO which was 21/07/2010.

At my scan on Wednesday they measured LO again and gave me a slightly different due date, which I think is my agreed due date they'll be working towards now. 22/07/2010, but I still reckon LO will be born three days later. My DH, BF and even the MW has a birthday of July 25th, so I'm pretty sure it's fate that everyone in the house that day will be having a birthday or giving birth-!

Lastly, my EDD vanished somehow from the list. Just putting it back...
