I was thinking the same isheisnthe I am too scared to get on wii fit but I know from my jeans that I can't get into! I need to go and get a bump band........7 weeks the same as you and feel like I am 12!

just googled bump bands - never heard of those before - are they new? (nearly 6 years since last baby!)

I am not liking this shape at all - its never bothered me before, I think its cos I look fat - rather than pregnant, iyswim??

4 years for me too and my maternity clothes are well dated! It's like a boob tube for your belly - PG friend used them in the early days - just put them over your trousers which you leave undone. She said they were great. I had a belly belt but find it uncomfortable.

Early days are pants, you just feel sick, pasty and lardy! Here's to the 2nd trimester! xx

I definitely look chubby at the mo rather than pregnant I was sat in a coffee shop today with DD pinned in the armchair behind me and I felt so fat-looking. 11+1 and longing for a bump!
I was so excited about my booking in appt. tomorrow and then the midwife cancelled about 20 mins ago because my notes haven't turned up yet again. Got my scan on Monday though thank goodness or I'd go mad I think, I want someone with a badge to confirm I'm pregnant (does that make me pathetic?)
kaylo - phone in sick...ok so they know you've got an appt but not to let you have the afternoon off for that is stupid so they deserve it. Besides, ms counts right?

I've got so fat already too - can only blame it on Christmas and wanting to eat crap like chips and white bread all the time cos of the sickness.

The sickness has completely disappeared now though (at 10 weeks) which is making me a bit nervous! Booking in tomorrow afternoon.

Hi everyone!

Please can I add my name onto the list? I am due 23rd August with first baby.

Have been reading this chat and the previous one and it is great to know there are other people out there going through the same things I am. I thought I was being a wuss with the sleep stuff (i.e. not seeing past 9pm on new year's eve) and feeling guilty for it and now I know I'm 'normal'.

No ms yet just feeling like I want to be sick all the time but eating small amounts regularly seems to be keeping it at bay!

Am looking forward to baby but don't think I have ever been so scared ever!!!!

Is anyone else taking the Pregnacare multivitamins? I think I may have found the nausea culprit... I forgot to take mine this morning and have felt much better today. I would say only mildly pukey on occasion in fact, as opposed to full on wanting to hurl and feeling seasick ALL DAY .

Thinking about just buying some plain old folic acid and ditching the multivits...

Am jealous of those of you who are feeling sick! I know I shouldn't be but six weeks yesterday and no sickness yet. Maybe I'm just eating too regularly so sickness never takes off?!

I am though feeling lumpy and very tired. Not sure how I'll get through a whole week at work. Praying to be snowed in tomorrow but am sure it's just the Evening Standard getting everyone over excited.

Crazycatlady - I take the Boots own brand pregnancy multivits and found they made me sick in the morning. I take it last thing at night now before I go to sleep and have had no more problems.

Bit fed up of the puking now!!

My location dissapeared too so havd added it back on. Used to live just outside of Bristol Missus but moved in Novemeber. I now know no one so any of you in Devon?

I'm taking the Pregnacare too Crazycatlady and have felt very sick since taking them (know I think about it) I took just Folic acid on its own last pregnancy and didn't suffer at all, think I'll pop out and buy some tomorrow. Thanks for the tip!

Hi all - I'm back

Have spent xmas and new year travelling round the UK to see family and being stone cold sober

As usual I still have barely any symptoms and am now officially "worried"

I am 9+3 today - sore boobs but apart from that nothing else. Not that tired, not much nausea, no cravings, not hungry.

I went to the doctors today (we have monthly GP check-ups in Belgium) and she just told me not to worry and to wait for the scan on the 19th . I haven't put on any weight since my last GP appointment 4 weeks ago. I really, truly don't feel pregnant and am getting very paranoid. I felt more tired earlier on and had period pains early on but nothing now. I even managed to stay out till 3am on NYE, on my feet in a club all night and whilst I was tired I managed it fine - that can't be right surely?!

Boos75 be pleased you have no sickness! It is most unenjoyable - not knowing from one day to the next what is going to set you off! You can have my sickness if you want!!!!

Oh NichyNoo do you have Early Pregnancy Units in Belgium? Is there any way you can self-refer for an early scan to ease your anxiety? I think if you are excessively worried your GP should listen to you and send you for an early scan. You poor thing. It's horrid not knowing and not feeling pregnant. Is there anyone in Belgium you can ask for advice?

Just off to watch Wallander, so no time to chat, but just wanted to say to NichyNoo, try not to worry too much. I didn't have a single symptom last time round until I started showing. This time I'm feeling it slightly more (little bit tired, occasionally slightly queasy, bigger boobs), but still not really feeling 'pregnant'. Haven't had a scan yet this time, but last time all was absolutely fine.
