Oh the meds will make a huge difference petal, honestly

Mine went for nearly a week and then had a bad few days. It really is coming and going in batches of days it seems. When I felt rough again I was cursing myself for wishing for it back! I asked the midwife at my booking in and she said she hears it all the time too

Wonderstuff · 11/12/2009 09:00

Good luck at the booking appt WWSW. Can't remember when they can start hearing heartbeat, but I had my booking appt quite late with dd and she couldn't find it, I think its a bit hit and miss in the first trimester. I hadn't thought of bypassing docs, will see if I can find a number for EPU..

HowTheGibbonStoleChristmas · 11/12/2009 09:02

Why thank you WWSW

HowTheGibbonStoleChristmas · 11/12/2009 09:03

And enjoy the booking in!! look away at blood taking time

Just spoke to EPAU, no appts until Tuesday and I need a GP to refer me, they said to do a pregnancy test, can stay + for up to two weeks after MC but if - they wouldn't need to see me. Best go and get dressed. I do have that funny taste in my mouth, thats got to be good [hopeful]

Right I need to get a grip, enjoy feeling fine and not sick, try not to worry it may all be OK.

Wonderstuff · 11/12/2009 09:21

tsc Thats great to know, thank you. My tits haven't been tender at all this time, I think because I was still bfing dd when I concieved, stopped when hyperemesis kicked in, she's taken it very well bless her.

Have a great time tsc. PMSL at dissolving bikini line - tackling mine is normally an hour or so undertaking - I rarely bother

My bowels seem OK atm, if I stick to 'best of both' rather than white bread it seems to be OK.

Good luck with the communal bathroom.

HowTheGibbonStoleChristmas · 11/12/2009 09:38

Have a fab time tsc, how is DD1 now? feeling lots better I hope

I'm a hairy bugger too, Irish blood, all pale skin and black hair. Thick black hair too, it's resistent to most creams, have to wax/hack away [nice]

She'll have a fab time!! and so will you glad she is on the mend

Wonderstuff · 11/12/2009 11:53

Now the metallic taste is back and I feel tired (but then I didn't get much sleep last night), feel generally a bit perculiar, don't know whether to cancel the doctors??

HowTheGibbonStoleChristmas · 11/12/2009 12:33

No harm in going, esp if doc can put your mind at rest

Wonderstuff · 11/12/2009 12:38

Have cancelled, as I'm so tired, going to go to bed now. Sorry to be such a drama queen. [must stop worrying, must stop worrying, must stop worrying]

Chulita · 11/12/2009 12:53

sleep tight wonderstuff, hope you start feeling more positive when you wake up! [hugs]

WickedWitchSouthWest · 11/12/2009 13:14

tsc your bowel movements sound incredibly exciting lol. Mine are just absent, but I've been eating prunes today so fingers crossed oh and btw my bikini line is similar. I got waxed before Center Parcs and getting it done again before Christmas. Then will probably give it a break for a bit

wonder funny taste sounds like a good sign. Hopefully you're just having a lucky pregnancy!

Ergh my arm HURTS! big purple bruise coming up on it but it's all in the name of good health MW didn't get the sonicaid out this time - too early apparently and they don't like to poke about and worry you if they can't find it. Fair enough.

Oh and she gave me Emma's Diary. I didn't have this joy with dd so I'm going to settle down with a bag of prunes to have a read

beckyg123 · 11/12/2009 13:25

Hiya,
Yes its lunchtime and the sickness has gone! woohoo! Just had a ham panini and ministrone soup... now, whats for desert???
Making the most of eating while its staying down!

Wonder- enjoy your sleep, hope you manage to relax. I know it is so hard not to dramatise, i am also a queen of it!!!

WWSW hope your bruising goes away, sounds nasty.

Chulita · 11/12/2009 13:32

I feel a lot better today too, is there an 8 week dip in ms? I don't have the metallic taste, I'm not too bloated, I don't feel sick...first time in a fortnight that I actually want to eat.
I want to have my booking in appt with the MW

WickedWitchSouthWest · 11/12/2009 13:33

woo hoo becky! it's a great feeling to have an appetite again

Forgot - mw has moved my edd to 28 June... please can I stay here? I know when I ovulated coz I was using FR opks and I think 3rd July is more likely. Pretty please?!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 11/12/2009 13:33

chulita when is your appt?

summerymummy · 11/12/2009 13:39

hi everyone, i had my reassurance scan on weds and i have been backdated to 4th august, argh, an extra week of feeling rubbish! think i'll stay part of the july group though even though i'm a bit of an august imposter now

Chulita · 11/12/2009 13:40

I don't have one yet, MW's phone is turned off and I only have one number to call I thought the GP would do it like last time but we're on an army base so I don't think Major Parkes cares much for pg army wives [melodramatic eyeroll]

beckyg123 · 11/12/2009 13:43

Oh WWSW please stay!!! You can't possible leave us now!

My MS only kicked in in week 8 and i've has good days and bad days... it really is so variable. Was laughing at the girls punching boobs... i did it in the car the other day when stopped at lights... realised i was getting some funny looks when i gave one a big squeeze to see if it was tender!!! must try to remember where i am sometimes

Chulita · 11/12/2009 13:45

WWSW Stay! If you join the June thread they'll all have had their babies and you'll be hanging on til the end, at least here you'll be one of the first (that's why I'm straddling July/Aug at the mo!)
