soa = spa

Kayzr · 30/11/2009 16:26

Boooo!!! Got to go to work at 5. I finish at 8. I hardly see a point in going to work really. Plus it's just started raining so I am slightly worried the beck will flood. Work is right next to the beck, you step out of the door and onto the bridge. I do not want to be stuck there all night. Though I am back at 7am tomorrow so it probably won't matter.

Have a good evening everyone.

Hope you got back from work ok KAYZ (or are tucking into free spa food and getting a full night's sleep next to the deli counter )
Local ads a good idea TINKS, sure it will sell.
Off to bed now. Have decided to give dream feed a miss tonight as he only took 1oz last night and ,tbh, think it unsettled him me waking him to feed. We'll see anyway (bottle on stand-by in the fridge). Fully prepared for dd3 waking anyway, so at least I'll get a head start.
Hope everyone ha a good night's sleep xxx zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Kayzr · 01/12/2009 06:05

Yeah I got home ok. Though I will admit to hoping I start walking to work at half 6 there will be a policeman saying go home!!

I hate waking up so early, plus I didn't sleep well. I kept waking and having to check the time.

Hope you are all well and asleep.

morning

enjoy advents

RuDiegetheRedNosedReinDiege · 01/12/2009 09:36

Morning! Sorry for bad night KAYZ. Know what you mean about waking and having to check the time. Ds got through ok without dreram feed last night, though had a nasty coughing fit that lasted a good 20 mins. DD3 temp again last night so in bed with me, though have put her in nursery today as she seems herself and no temp. Now dd3 got as far as the school gates but was very upset and didn't seem 100% so have brought her back. Just waiting for nursery to ring now .
You know I was thinking last night about 3am if any of us on the wagon actually go to sleep at bedtime and sleep undistrubed until getting up time? I'm guessing very few!
Morning TINKS - advents went down well this morning, though dd2 not impressed as her chocs seem to have melted into one big advent choc
Right, packing beckons.

RuDiegetheRedNosedReinDiege · 01/12/2009 09:37

Meant dd1 and school gates!

cantmummyhaveabreak · 01/12/2009 10:01

Diege- i do now!! get into bed at 10ish, then sleep through till DD2 wakes in the morning (unless i get up for the loo)... but thats only been for the last week at most!!... oh actually i tell a lie- DD1 woke us last night crying- must have been a bad dream as when DH went in she was fine and back asleep!! i barely woke- just enough to remember it. Sorry DD's still aren't 100% still- hope they perk up asap... and good going on DS missing his dream feed!!

Have lost another 3lb over the weekend!! wuhoo!!

Have read throguh but have a memory like a sieve this morning and forgotten everything!!

RuDiegetheRedNosedReinDiege · 01/12/2009 12:44

Great going on the weight loss Cant! I'm trying hard but may lapse a little while packing!
Very quiet on here today - anyone fancy a game of tumbleweed?

cantmummyhaveabreak · 01/12/2009 13:26

tumbleweed???

You shouldn't worry too much about your weight right now Diege- you have tons on your plate (mind the pun) with ill DC's and moving. Plus i'm sure moving day and unloading boxes will burn off plenty!!

RuDiegetheRedNosedReinDiege · 01/12/2009 14:12
cantmummyhaveabreak · 01/12/2009 14:24

< grabs tumbleweed and runs straigth past Diege while she's got her head in the fridge eating chocolate, gets all the way to the other side and..... GOAL!!! 1-1!!>

I'm hoping to have DD1 walking to school to collect DS at 3... she's walking much better now, enough to be coping fine at nursery... but dread the same situation as last week!! But HATE the enormous double!!

RuDiegetheRedNosedReinDiege · 01/12/2009 14:54

DD1 says she's 'very poorly' now, but will have to force her up and off the sofa. This is when I wish I had neighbours that I could just leave her with while I pop up to school.
Good luck with dd1 and her leg!

cantmummyhaveabreak · 01/12/2009 15:53

so how was younr school run?.... I dared to say she was walking much better didn't i!! Then the school run happened- she was a PITA yet again and ended up screaming the whole way there and back while standing on the front footrest part!! hence she is now in her room for a nap as the screaming was totally uncalled for!!

RuDiegetheRedNosedReinDiege · 01/12/2009 17:09

Phew, just back from mine. Not too bad though dd1 whining and PO queue immense...Still, nothing on your's with screaming dd1 - what a nightmare!
Here's wishing us peaceful evenings!

essenceofSES · 01/12/2009 20:53

Hi!

Cant - nap for DD1 seems like a good plan. Hope she settled down. That can't have been fun.

Diege - why does the PO always have a huge queue no matter what time of day it is? If that was any other retailer, there'd be uproar!

We had a much better night last night. DS didn't get to sleep until 9pm but then only woke at 1.30am and 4am. I think he was just exhausted as he'd only had 2 x 20min naps in the day. Every time he fell asleep he'd wake himself up when his mouth closed and he couldn't breathe!
Anyway, I feel a lot better today and DS seems in better form. His nose seems like an endless stream though. He's been asleep just over an hour so far...

Hoping for good nights all round on the wagon!

RuDiegetheRedNosedReinDiege · 01/12/2009 22:04

Hi SES! Aww poor O and his little nose! Let's hope you have a good one tonight
Going up now to bed. Great to be 'released' from the curse of the dream feed, though I am sure dd3 will be up at some point. She was fine at nursery today which is brilliant and means she's finally over this horrible bug. I do always find that illness throws LOs off their routine for far longer than the illness lasts itself (one of the danger points that gina speaks of) so I will be firm and think of the long-term! Now dd1 feels very hot so may well be off school again tomorrow. Have managed to swop over dd3's nursery days so that she's at nursery on moving day which is a relief.
Hope everyone is ok xxx

FollowingYonderSTAR · 01/12/2009 22:40

Quick dash on - should be heading to bed. Have posted a quick question on timing re. our meet-up for Thurs on FB, if anyone has a chance to respond tomorrow?

Can't and Diege - sending get well vibes your direction for your DC. DD has been ill for last week, which means our sleep that was heading in the right direction has gone to pot again, but then again so has her intake of solid food, ah well.... Onward and upward.

Hope O gets well soon Ses.

tinkerbellstinkerbells · 02/12/2009 08:55

cantmummyhaveabreak · 02/12/2009 09:34

Morning everyone- just done my wii fit and not lost any extra since yesterday oh well- i did eat junk last night and had a beer with DH so i know where the calories weren't burned off!!

STILL having to take DD1 in the double to nursery and back- i'm getting so fed up with it!! I mean if her leg was broken then i'd have been doing it up till xmas before she had the cast off... BUt it's not and she CAN walk now, just not very far really... I'm gonna give her another week to be back to noraml and if not i'm taking her to the hospital to have it checked out again.

DD2 is fast asleep and DD1 and DS woke the whole house up at 5.15am, so gonna see if i can grab a sneaky nap while she's sleeping.

IDOBisamummy · 02/12/2009 11:07

Morning all,

is it bad that I am sitting eating lunch at this time of the morning ? DD went through the 6 week growth spurt last week and we were both eating constantly. She seems to have settled back down this week but I am still hungry all the time! She now weighs 11lb 2oz and is following the 50th centile, she is on the 75th centile for length so maybe she's inherited her dads height.
I have been trying to get her back into a better sleep routine now she doesn't need to feed all the time - last night we put her to bed at 9 and she fed at 2 and 6.30 which is great but she still wakes every 2 hours (when she was feeding last week) gurgles and wriggles abut a bit then goes back to sleep. It's great for her but I wake when she does then I take ages to drift off again . So I have the sleep problem .

Cant - I have been rubbish at using my wii fit as DD was feeding so much this last week. You've inspired me to get back on it today. I'm going to be the size of a house otherwise with all this eating! I have my fingers crossed DD1 starts walking properly soon!

Diege - how is the packing going? Are the DDs well today?

Tink - enjoy jolly babies.

Ses - hope O is better today.

STAR - love the new name. I hope DD is better today and manages to get some solids down so she sleeps well.

tinkerbellstinkerbells · 02/12/2009 11:20

i have lost weight to

back into size 10 jeans back to prepregnancy weight

dont have much time to g on wii fit try not to eat too much or snack

essenceofSES · 02/12/2009 12:35

Ooh! Well done all you ladies losing weight!

IDOB - you mean you're having separate meals??! I'm sure for the first few months I was just constantly eating!
Sounds like DD is doing really well though

Felt like I had a newborn again this morning. O just wanted to feed or sleep on me. He was all grumpy too so definitely feeling under the weather. After a decent sleep he seems to have perked up a bit but every time I leave the room is crying. Probably a combination of him feeling ill and the old 6mo separation anxiety.

I have the chimney sweep due this afternoon!

Hope you're all having good days.

IWroteOffLightningMcQueen · 02/12/2009 14:52

Hello everyone

Sorry haven't been on for ages, between the computer/internet/both not working, and me being poorly just haven't had chance. Though have new laptop being delivered tomorrow so at least half the problem should be sorted!

So how is everyone? Looking forward to christmas? Who has their dec's up? It's DS2's birthday on Monday (though we're doing it on Sunday for him) so have been busy getting it all sorted. I ordered a dining table and chairs set from Debenham's about a week after we moved in (the one we have is too big for the room, stupid bloody house!) they delivered it to our old house am still waiting for them to deliver it here, the table is supposed to be coming tomorrow, but god knows what they've done with the chairs, tell you what though, I am never ordering from there again, have ordered a fair bit from them in the past but no more, have never been met with such rudeness and general 'can't be arsed' attitude to a retailers own cock up before. Sighing and tutting down the phone, one guy kept coughing down my lug 'ole, - no warning, or apology, bleurgh! Anyway, my point I was making about the table supposedly arriving tomorrow (I'll believe it when I see it!)is that I have sorted out the room for it to go in! We have a total of 3 boxes left in the house to unpack - garage is a different story mind!

Moos, are you still pregnant?!

Diege, what happened with your buyers? Are you still getting the dream house? Hope so!

Goodness can't remember what else was happening when I was last here, seems like yonks ago! It can't be that long surely?!

Oh, my sister had her twin's yesterday at 34 weeks, they are good weights, both 4lb+'ers, they are in special care, one of them needs the oxygen, sound's like the other would be able to come home within a couple of weeks, but the smaller one will be in till her due date. Both girls! My mum is doing a merry jig every time I speak to her, she had 5 daughters, the three of us that have had kid's so far produced 7 grandsons between us, and now she has 2 grandaughters at once! Can't wait to see them, we're going down weekend after next so not long to wait! Oh and slightly weird coinsidence, they moved her around the country trying to locate two special care bed's in any hospital that had them, and she ended up in the same hospital as I had DS1!

Both the boys are asleep, not sure what do with myself!
