shinybaubles - how horrible, are you ok today, why do you think you wer vomiting and are your feet still itchy?

CTOFN - i can not believe that about the fish oil. they should be more on the ball.

well i have cancelled my 2nd app for the swine jab and decided to sit on the fence and see what happens. in a couple of weeks i will book it for the 2nd week in jan and take it if there is alot of swine flu around me.

right now there is not and i just feel like i have been pressured into getting it rather than making a choice. for example my gp looked me in the eye and told me that many icu units around the country including mine are full of pregnant women. this obviously made me book my app. but i called up my local pct trust and asked if they could tell me how many pregnant women are in intensive care or hospitalized right now due to swine flu and she would not tell me???

i said that the docs keep banging on about how it is "our decision" but how they expect me to make a decision when they wont give me true facts or figures. she would know that info but is choosing to not share it - why?

if there were many women in icu then she would have been happy to tell me.

my friend is a mw at my local hospital and she told me yesterday there are no pregnant women in their icu unit.

So now i dont trust my gp

his whole attitude has changed, a few weeks back he was really not that fussed about me having it and now he is telling me fibs to make me take it?

my mw friend said that the intake for the jab is really slow and so the gp's are being encouraged to make people take it.

i know they are only looking out for our best interests at the end of the day and i appreciate that. but i would prefer them to be alot more honest and give me access to what they have - why keep it back?

Shiny - any itching of hands? If you get the itchy feet again tonight, make sure you call someone in the morning to get blood tests for bile acids!

Got my celvapan jabs now booked - 11 Dec & 8 Jan (the second one is post birth)!!!

CTFN - thank goodness you read the small print re. the vaccine! The egg allergy is all you ever hear about with the vaccines, not the fish oils!

Lottie - glad you have made it home, and hope that you are resting up!

Ali - how are you doing? Have the contractions gone away?

Showmethemummy - my list is never ending! It is christmas related, but is also household stuff that I am getting in order. Am procrastinating massively over getting my self assessment done, but am determined to knuckle down and get it done online by next week!

Shiny - you arent still itchy are you? Severe itchiness towards the end of pregnancy needs to be checked out.

Hope everyone else well. I finished getting the last of the nursery furniture up today and it looks lovely. . Cannot wait to meet my LO!
