Had a horrible night of worry and crying after reading far too much on google. There's been no "more" bleeding but just a tiny bit of brownish cm when I wiped (sorry for tmi) - does anybody know what the doctor will do if I go there?

james that all sounds fine to me. Could be anything. Did you have cramps too or not? My doctor told me once that you really need to have both cramps and bleeding to worry. And when I had my MC, that's exactly what happened: big cramps and lots of bleeding. I think your doctor will just take bloods to see if the pg is progressing well -they can tell how much HCG is in your body and how much there should be. Try not to stress!

Cupcakefairy - good to know that! There's 12 years between me and my sis and we're very close but obviously it was a different relationship when we were younger.

I keep having the weirdest dreams about stuff! Makes me feel very drowsy and out of it when I wake up.

James - sorry you've had a tough night, I'd stop googling and go to see the doctor or a MW. Presumably they can take bloods and see if your HCG levels are OK and maybe arrange for an early scan?

Thanks, I don't know if I'm getting cramps or not. I keep getting mild aching or pulling sensations but I don't know if they could be cramps, they don't feel much like period pains. I'm calling the doctor now anyway or I'll spend the whole weekend in limbo. (Might anyway)

Morning ladies, and hurrah for the new thread!

For everyone who asked, my wedding is exactly 50 days away - 14th November! I am absolutely beside myself with excitement. It can't come quickly enough.

We told quite a few people about our first pregnancy, which in retrospect, I wouldn't have changed for the world as it meant I had so much love and support from everyone when I mmc'd in July.

However, it means that this time around we've decided not to tempt fate, so we're going to leave it until our wedding day to announce it during either mine or DP's speech. I'll be 13 weeks so perfect timing really!

James Step away from the Google hon, as it'll only cause you too worry. Let us know what the doctor says, and we'll keep everything crossed for you.

James/Banana - hope the doc can put your mind at rest.

Viv - that will be so sweet to announce the pg at the wedding - there won't be a dry eye in the house.

We don't see the mw until 10 weeks around here - I'm amazed so many people have been earlier with their mws. Saying that, she's on hol when I'm 10 weeks, so I'm seeing her next week, when I'll be 8 and a bit.

God, this first trimester drags and drags. And when is morning sickness meant to abate? I seem to remember having it right to the day I dropped last time. Hope it goes quickly... I've really had enough of feeling so icky.

viv congratulations on your wedding, its a brilliant day, just try not to get too stressed about it.

james hopefully dr will give you some reassurance, unfortunately they just cant stop any of us being anxious when its still so early on.

Bleeding has gone red now, still not much but it's there. I've had some mild pains - mild, but they definitely weren't there before the bleeding. Just called the EPU, they've scheduled me a scan for monday afternoon.

I bled with my first, for a couple of hours (red though) and assumed I'd had a wonky period - not sure how many weeks I would have been when that happened. I'm holding onto hope that this is just what my body does, and trying not to panic.

James - keeping fingers crossed for you for Monday

Viv - congratulations! I'm sure it will be a wonderful day.

We're off to a wedding tomorrow; the groom is already suspicious that I may be pg so I want to wear something that doesn't actually make me look pg. Fat chance when I've just scoffed a belgian bun and a yum yum in about 30 seconds flat. I didn't even feel sick before eating them but I do now

Busy day yesterday so didn't have time to check in. Blimey, we're on a new thread already, and I feel like I've only just joined! How is everyone?

Angel, that's great news about your hormone levels rising.

I did another clearblue digital yesterday, just to see it change from 1-2 weeks to 2-3. Thankfully it did, but it seemed to take an absolute age for it to show anything! Perhaps I didn't pee on it for long enough, but suffice to say I had a minor panic.

Definitely getting more nausea, and it's all day long now. Eating temporarily makes it go away, and thankfully I haven't actually been physically sick. My boobs are huge so I might have to go maternity bra shopping, although was hoping not to have to for a little while longer. Although I've lost a little weight, I reckon in reality I'd weigh less if my boobs were their normal size and weight!

Off for 2 weeks now on annual leave. Not going to do much other than a spot of decorating and visit some friends in Cornwall

ive spent the day on the sofa hugging a bucket..feel like death...to make matters worse..our boiler has packed up and Land lord wont authorise the repair as its £700

so in the meantime, we have no heating or hot water and engineer said that the part takes aweek to come..and he cant even order it till he gets the go ahead from the landlord

Oh memorylapse there's nothing worse than having no heating/hot water. We had that two or three weeks ago, and it's happened before. Luckily our landlord took our boiler insurance so it got fixed as soon as british gas could do it. Can you get showers etc at someone else's house? Sorry you're feeling rotten.

James-its my mums birthday today so we are going over there this evening to give her the presents and I casually asked if I could have a bath..so Im going to my mums for a bath..my mum incidentally has come down off her high horse about the baby and seems to be quite warming to the idea now..one slight fly in the ointment though is that DM and DSD are taking the kids to Florida first 2 weeks in May..so if DB arrives on his/her due date everyone will be on holiday!

Look on the bright side though memorylapse - if that happens then you'll get lots of peace to bond with the new arrival

Memorylapse, I feel for you having no hot water & heat - that's rotten. Surely the landlord can't simply leave you stuck without it? That seems a bit to me as presumably a functioning boiler is part of what your rent pays for? Anyway, really hope it gets resolved quickly for you, no need for life to be any more complex than it already is at this stage of pg.

Viv, it's lovely that you're going to make the announcement at your wedding. I am a bit jealous actually; DP was vaguely saying the other day that maybe we should finally get hitched (we have been together 13 years and lived together for nine), and it did sound really nice as an idea, but tbh I don't have the energy to organize a wedding AND deal with my redundancy situation AND prepare our tiny flat for another occupant. I can barely stay up past 7:30 at the mo. So I have a feeling we won't get around to marriage for a little while yet ...

DS is snoozing and I'm off to collapse into bed myself, maybe listen to a bit of the Adam & Joe podcast before I fall asleep . It's a crazy rock & roll life here at Plenticlew HQ.

Hi Girls, I'm afraid I am definitely leaving you.
Scan found no pregnancy, pregnancy test negative. They didn't bother with blood tests - didn't see the point.

I'm gonna keep checking up on you guys tho, so I may still post now and then and see how you are all doing

I'm ok but dh wasn't expecting such bad news at all - he's been so upbeat all week about it all - I really feel sorry for him!!

I've updated the list without me - in 4 weeks I will be back on the TTC wagon so I'm not down at all about it. It's just one of those things that no-one has any control over.

Just spoke to a friend who has just rumbled me.I won a MN comp today and mentioned it on my FB status. Anyway my firend whos due Oct came onto MN and was looking at the preg pages, when she came across a post from me and guessed from my Nickname it was me! She really happy for me

pigley - ouch getting rumbled, think I said in the July thread one of the toddler mums came over today and she is 4-5 weeks gone too so it will be nice to have someone pregnant at the same time as me

memorylapse - hope you get your boiler fixed soon, I would be spitting chips especially with DC in the house, good news about your Mum, mine will be the last person I would tell, last time she told me I was stupid having another, that no one has a big family these days and it would probably be best if I had a mc, will never forgive her for that, that is DD3 the light of all our lives she is probably the main reason we are having another, she is so gorgeous cannot imagine her being the last.

Dorothea - you and your DP sound like us, we have been together for oh 15 years next March engaged for 10, lived together oh for about 13 at least, we talk about getting married but other things keep getting in the way erm like having babies lol by the time we do get round to it we will have 3 probably 4 gorgeous little bridesmaids though (no one will take any notice of me!)
