Oh for a day off!! Have been considering asking MIL to have DS so I can have a rest. Went shopping again yesterday and am stiff and sore. We're supposed to be going to soft play today and I know DS would love it but I just can't face it

I took DS down town yesterday and it about killed me, had to phone my dad to come pick me up because I just couldnt make it to the bus station!

Mybox · 13/11/2009 09:08

Tired as well as feel that everything has loosened and when I lie down in bed it's impossible to turn over with out hauling myself up, sitting up & then trying to lie down again. Wondering if it's spd & will ask my doctor next week.

AmazingBouncingFerret · 13/11/2009 09:11

Has anyone else got to the point where you receive very worried looks off people when walking down the street.
That was me yesterday, baby was resting on a nerve so I was grimacing with every step, plus there was a point where I needed the loo so added a fullish bladder to the equation I must of looked a right state!

GoldenSnitch · 13/11/2009 09:14

I was limping through John Lewis yesterday on my way back to the car after our shopping trip and got asked my a staff member if I was overdue..

..I'll be 34 weeks this Sunday!!

Then, neighbour was outside her door when we got home and announced that in her opinion, I was going to be early with this one.

I gave up last night and tried to sleep on the reclining chair downstairs but was woken by boiler, hamster, clocks ticking, freezer, fridge whirring etc etc and found my bump hanging down into the corner and hurting like nothing else!!!!
Feel totally sick and dizzy today..... due anytime from 2 weeks tomorrow and i have had enough. keep crying, have the runs, am ratty, achy. People keep saying......'ooh are you excited' and at the moment i cant really feel it cos i feel like plop!!!! I want to shout..... excited..... its going to hurt dont you know..... !!!!! xx

anniebigpants · 13/11/2009 10:02

I had a real run of BH,s yesterday, was beginning to wonder if they were the real thing, but they werent painful enough to be. I just feel really achy down below today, real period type pains. IM really quite snappy and emotional today, sat and watched Marley and Me on DVD and sobbed my heart out, think i alarmed DS a bit, he kept cuddling me and saying "shh, its OK Mummy" bless him.

Hope all well.

Stigaloid · 13/11/2009 10:09

I have banished DH to the spare room as his snoring was keeping me awake on top of all the usual late pregnancy pains! Sleep is soo hard and am so tired all the time. Have started Mat Leave though and feel only a slight twinge of guilt that DS is at nursery all day still.

sparklycheerymummy · 13/11/2009 10:11

annie.... period pains sound promising!

anniebigpants · 13/11/2009 10:13

Stigaloid-Dont feel guilty about DS being at nursery all day, im still putting my DS in 3 full days a week, ive paid nursery fees up until end November, so he may as well be there. Its the only way i can get things done, and means on his days off i can spend it doing fun things with him.

anniebigpants · 13/11/2009 10:16

x-posted with sparkly-hmmm i was thinking that myself!

sparklycheerymummy · 13/11/2009 10:43

ooooh exciting ..... going to get on my gym ball and try to get this bump moving x

Claire236 · 13/11/2009 10:57

Had a show at 3am & mw sent me to hospital where they confirmed I'm having contractions but let me come back home to wait & see what happens. Was worried about going to hospital as over here (Germany) they're very keen on keeping you in. I'll be 36+5 tomorrow which is what I was when I had ds1 so would be interesting if this one arrives at the same time.

charleymouse · 13/11/2009 11:01

Well done on getting this far Claire, was wondering if we were going to get any November arrivals. Good luck.

AmazingBouncingFerret · 13/11/2009 11:03

BlueChampagne · 13/11/2009 13:44

Good luck Claire! Hooo-hooo

Have had SF jab today for better or worse - am asthmatic so in another risk category. Feels like a bit of a 2-for-1 deal!

DS chose last night to throw his first tantrum (he's 2.3) - 3 hours of vociferous complaint about the management not letting him watch as many episodes of Bagpuss as he wants ... Mummy is more hardline than Daddy so guess who's more popular! Still, managed to hold a calm, united front so hopefully he's got the message. It meant he went to bed very late so he's going to be even more tired today, which may not help. Fingers crossed.

FedUpWithRainyDevon · 13/11/2009 14:20

Good Luck Claire

I am so glad so many people feel like crap and are crying - sorry to enjoy your misery - it's just that I'm exactly the same. I feel really flat and want to feel excited but just can't.

I saw the consultant today about my CS and it's booked for the 15th Dec, unless I can get things moving earlier. I should feel good that it's organised but all I can focus on is the fact that I signed a form authorising a hysterectomy if necessary which has made me really sad. I'm not planning on any more children but still...

Feel blue and want to lie under the duvet but DS is very happy today and wants me to join in his happiness! Very sweet but I want him to leave me alone, that's horrible of me isn't it?

Moosy · 13/11/2009 14:43

How come you're thinking about a hysterectomy? Sorry everyone's feeling blue, I'm starting to get a bit fed up now and just want to be thin again!

MW came today and booked me in for the HB and left her box of things, it's all feeling a bit real now as I'll be 37 on sunday

Moosy · 13/11/2009 14:43

37 weeks that is!

Good luck Claire, hope all goes well
