Anyone else had a c-section previously? My scar is itching badly at the moment and I'm wondering if that's normal?

Definitely slowing down here. Finding it harder and harder to find the energy to do things like soft play with DS which we usually love.

Mybox · 14/10/2009 15:50

Lovely name scorps

TheBlairSnitchProject · 14/10/2009 15:59

Maisie Star is beautiful Scorps

Claire236 · 14/10/2009 17:10

madmissy - it was me suffering migraines. Have managed a whole 3 days without one though.

I feel really tired in spite of the fact that I've been off work for 6 weeks now & I'm not allowed to do hardly anything.

Scorps - I love Maisie Star.

LaDiDaDi · 14/10/2009 18:38

Lovely name Scorps. I wish that we had been struck by inspiration but we still can't agree.

No scar itchiness here but definitely more tired than normal. I still get puffy during the day but it all resolves overnight so not too worrying yet, fingers crossed bp stays ok.

Scorps · 14/10/2009 19:18

Glad everyone likes her name, it's been hard choosing!! I love Seren, my family are welsh, but dh doesn't like it. May pester for Seren if she is born 24 25 or 26.

I'm nearly 30 weeks now and am deffo slowing down, it's natures way of making sure we rest

madmissy · 14/10/2009 19:37

Mybox · 15/10/2009 12:38

Just measured myself round the middle - 44inches!Was a size 10/12 to start with lol. Have 8 more weeks to go.......

TheBlairSnitchProject · 15/10/2009 12:46

45 inches here!! and I have 10 weeks to go!!!

BlueChampagne · 15/10/2009 13:03

Hmm, haven't measured myself (but might succumb later - will let you know), but I got on the scales and I have put on a stone.
DS told me on Tuesday that my belly is a pumpkin, so that's now bump's nickname. Quite appropriate since I call DS "sausage".

Scorps · 15/10/2009 13:11

Did someone say they had mothercare 20% off vouchers?? Would be fab timing for my pushchair buying and would save me £100!! Please?

I'm stephanie croxton on facebook, looking into camera smiling. Thanks!!

TheBlairSnitchProject · 15/10/2009 13:11

Ds has a halloween party coming up at the end of the month with his friends.

The host Mum wants all the Mums to dress up too!

Was thinking of getting a a white t-shirt and painting a pumpkin onto my bump as my outfit.

LaDiDaDi · 15/10/2009 15:33

I've gained 20lbs and now have waist measurement of 31 inches.

Loving the pumpkin idea!

ArghhhhmazingBouncingSpider · 15/10/2009 16:16

Scorps I searched you and it came up with several people looking into camera smiling!!

Try searching Jackie Barton. My picture should match up with the one I have on my profile here.
If you want to send me a your address via messages I can post you some!!

ArghhhhmazingBouncingSpider · 15/10/2009 16:21

I think Ive lost weight.

I checked my notes and it said I was 64kg when I went in for my booking in.
Ive just weighed myself and it said 59kg.

My scales are dodgy and got dropped by DS so im going to go down to my mums and try theirs.

My midwife is on annual leave till next week so im not sure what to do.
A colleague said I look anaemic, but would that make me lose weight?
I feel like shit, really tired but I just took that as being pregnant and the fact I have no appetite.
Im having to force things down not because I want them but because I know that the baby needs it.
Ahhh!
Right enough moaning im going to my parents to weigh myself. Shall update!

Scorps · 15/10/2009 16:24

Think I got you.... I'm with a fringe dark hair if that helps !!!

TheBlairSnitchProject · 15/10/2009 16:59

Just weighed myself too, knew it was a mistake!

I was 62.9kgs when I fell pregnant and am now 74!!! Have to stop eating chocolate!!

I can't believe you haven't had your hand bitten off for those vouchers Arghhh! If you've still got one spare, I need to get some extra bedding for both DD and DS and would appreciate one??

legscrossed · 15/10/2009 18:23

Whats everyones thoughts on the swine flu vaccine, apparently preggers are one of the first priority groups to be offered.

ps I dont have scales as I dont believe in weight, more a how you feel n look type of girl.
Always been a curvey 14, tummy is 39 inches with 6 weeks to go. Still fit in pre preg jeans (and do them up) but obviously cant sit down!
Remember we're pregnant girls! There was always gonna be consequences, weight gain a given. Women who dont even show are as rare as those that have half hour labour n birth in one push.

Feeling v soft n squishy all over.

madmissy · 15/10/2009 19:03

i was wondering about the swine flu jab too but tbh as i am nearly there i think i will leave it? im not sure??!

LaDiDaDi · 15/10/2009 20:25

I'm a high-risk group on two counts, a frontline healthcare worker and pregnant.

I think I will take it if offered before I give up work for mat.leave. Not sure otherwise.

TheBlairSnitchProject · 15/10/2009 20:25

I'm almost totally sure I won't have it. The fact that it is untested scares me silly.

BexJ78 · 15/10/2009 21:16

Hi all!

yes I don't think i want it when it hasn't been tested. have not measured or weighed, don't think I want to know!!

Thinking Anna Elizabeth Bluebell for name....what do you reck?
x

Milliemuffin · 15/10/2009 21:27

Bluechampagne - I call DS sausage aswell, dont know why just always have!

Moosy · 15/10/2009 22:14

I had a really bad cold last week and thought at the time how horrible it would be if I did get swine flu, but I think I'll take the risk and not have the jab.

I've put on 1 stone 1 lb which is 1 lb more than the previous two times, and my 'waist' is 40.5" (previously got to 42" and 41" with DD1 and DD2) and I still have just over 7 weeks left to go. I'm measuring quite big for dates too, MW last measured me 3 weeks ago and as she did it she said "30, that's good" but she marked it on the chart as 29 and even that was on the 90th centile line. I've measured me since and I think I'm waaaay above that line now, so I won't be surprised if she measures me big again when I see her next week. I'm half hoping she sends me for a growth scan actually, I love having scans!

madmissy · 16/10/2009 08:06

i am just under 12 stone or just above can't rem what she said now! not measured myself but fitting in size 12 mat clothes now not 8-10 lol

whos planning on breastfeeding? im in two minds!?
