Congratulations Blue glad to hear it went so well.

My MW wouldn't do a sweep yesterday (40+4) but is prepared to do one tomorrow (40+6). All I can say to that is

I told dh this evening that I can feel the baby's head bouncing on my cervix (not sure if this is actually the case but it certainly feels like it!) and he was utterly grossed out

StealthPolarBear · 17/09/2009 19:36

Hope the sweep worked SF
am so sick of waiting with no signs at all

I would, but only learnt what it was the other day!
Mum and Dad are coming to get DS at 10 which I think will tempt fate. They're coming fairly regularly (every 10 mins or so) but not too painful yet. Plus even if they are 'real' contractions (as opposed to me needing the loo, sorry if TMI) well they can stop and start can't they? Still, can't really keep my parents hanging on too much and it's getting late.

StealthPolarBear · 17/09/2009 21:30

Really hope things get started for all of us soon One more week (in fact one more day) and I'll be demanding a CS!

Good luck Stealth!

Minshu · 17/09/2009 22:05

Will be thinking of you, Stealth!

StealthPolarBear · 17/09/2009 22:10

does it really SF?! I really don't think I'm very far along, but that makes me feel better about the odd one being 20 mins apart. No way I'm going to the hospital now, they'd look at me and laugh! (Like they did last time, but that's another story )

StealthPolarBear · 17/09/2009 22:11

When my parents have gone I'll be going to bed - no doubt I'll wake up refreshed and pain free at 7am.
Actually...that sounds lovely!

well mine were never 5 mins apart with DS (even while pushing there were 20 min gaps) and these have started at 10 minutes ish apart, but aren;t that painful. Should I really be going in??
Lol at your ideal night - yes, mine too. Given my attempts at potty training 2yo DS so far though, I think it's unlikely this one will be born knowing what to do with a nappy

exactly! I'm another one who had a drunken NYE!
(Well actually I was stone cold sober, watched a film and went to bed at 5 past midnight, having given DH a peck on the cheek )

hulihoops · 17/09/2009 23:32
