Suspect I may sit here on my own for a few days, as found out pretty early that I'm now 3+4, due 3rd Feb 06.

I'll introduce myself anyway!

Age 31, DH 39. Live North Herts. Ttc #1 for just over 4 years, including 1 missed m/c last October.

Ecstatic to be pregnant again , but also nervous because of m/c history.

Hi, got my 2nd results back and they are well over 100,000...midwife says that is really good so at least that is reassuring. along with the constant nausea

Oh, and I jacked my job in today - boss is a monster bitch from hell and I have decided to prioritise my health & sanity. The end of my notice period coincides with my 12wk mark so it will be a double celebration !!!

Tabs · 16/06/2005 17:18

Brilliant Teuch, on both counts! Take it you're not worried about getting paid maternity leave?

I have been almost a lady of leisure the last few weeks, but stupidly I've just agreed to take on a new contract starting middle of next week! Ah well, suppose the extra money will be nice, and hopefully the contract will only last a month or two.

Blimey... have some of you actually seen midwives etc??! I dont expect to hear anything until I get my 12 wk scan appointment at the hospital. Is this normal? I dont think I saw anyone till 12 wks last time either, but at least the doc gave me the list of dos and donts etc. This time I've had nothing at all.I'm hoping I've remembered the complete list of banned foods!
Feeling a bit more smug this morning as I've finally had a little wave of nausea .
Am starting to believe its true now, as went looking at double buggies yesterday. Have fallen in love with the most expensive one, obviously . Wondering if it can be justified as it seems to be the only one I'll get on the bus!

Miranda5 · 17/06/2005 20:47

Hi girls,

Thanks so much for thinking of me. Had another streak of pink today (last night naughtiness might be to blame) I cannot face seing midwives or epu till 7 or 8 weeks becasue last time all the scans were inconclusive and they just kept sending me home then back then home again and I just want to go and be told yay or nay.
Feeling tired and fairly crap so hope that is a good sign. Did wretch yesterday and am definitely sickly feeling but not getting hopes up. Staying calm...not like me at all.
Shall we start a new thread ...someone(!) should collate all our due dates. TELL YOU ALL WHAT...all those pregnancy calendars are a pain ...BBC...Babycentre..Pregnancy.org (good one) ALL give me different dates. TELL me what you think LMP 05/05/2005 31 day cycle.....

wyommingmom · 17/06/2005 21:03

I am 8 weeks pregnant, and have had no breast changes at all. I am worried about it, even though my doctor says everything is fine. Has anyone else ever had this happen??

TicTac · 17/06/2005 22:21

Evening ladies...
Hope we are all well or unwell in a nice kind of reassurring way!!

Wyommingmom - I never get sore boobs as part of my usual cycle but since I have been pregnant they have been as sensitive as you like. Although I have worse days then others. Everbody is so different though that if your GP is telling you all is well and you have had no other signs to indicate there is a problem..try to relax.

Miranda5 - Oh I really hope it works out for you hun, I really do! I worked my own dates out and I think I am pretty accurate (most calcs come up similar) I believe you are a week behind me which would make you due around the 10th Feb. I am guessing you conceived on the 24th or 25th of May

I have felt quite sickly myself but then today I have had a great day, only sore boobs and a nasty mouth taste..Nice rest from the sickly but I hope it is no poor indication...still checking my pee paper like a paranoid!!

Kassie · 18/06/2005 09:38

Wyommingmum - I too have no changes except extreme tiredness. I was same last time and everything turned out fine so I think we just have to keep fingers crossed. Try not to worry hopefully in a few weeks we can delight in our lack of symptoms rather than worry ourselves sick about it!

ixel · 18/06/2005 20:48

Hey, still no symptoms here, and I'm not at all pleased. I know this is the same as with ds, but I'd still like a bit of sickness or soreness or anything! Am going up to my mums for a bit, with no internet access . So dont worry, I wont have disappeared or had any traumas (hopefully), just in the sticks for 2 weeks. Will miss mumsnet, as I've only just got back into it as ds gives me a bit of time now!

Miranda5 · 18/06/2005 21:28

Dont know if I am just a very boring person but!!!!!!! I just thought i would sit in bed watch tv and collate a list of our vital stats , due dates etc ....listen -- I am 37 that is fun to me - forget sex, drugs and rock and roll this is mumsnet! Anyway to get back to what I was saying .....I thought it would be a good idea to print off this thread then i could jot down eveyones details and build a nice new thread with everyone involved from the start. Took a while to spool - had a look - saw it was 46 pages - decided not to bother!!!!!!!

Tabs · 18/06/2005 23:21

Tee hee Miranda! Can't believe you gave up at the first sign of difficulty .

If you have a look at my post from last Sunday at 9:59pm you'll see a list of (hopefully) all vital stats up to that point. Perhaps you could just sift through the ones since then for newbies/updates?
