Hi TINKS - love the new name Glad stuff was nice - v.impressed with baby boy range, though with ds 13,5ibs now not sure how long the 3-6 months stuff will fit (sure 6-12 would be massive!).
Well have done a bit of sorting, the bottles, listed on e-bay and ds due up from nap any time. He did bring up bottle an hour after feed - pretty much all of it I think . Also ending up smashing microwave glass base plate, arghh!!!

glaskham · 22/08/2009 13:56

Well i've been to the shop and post box, fed the DD's, put the washing out, put DS's bedding in the washing machine. Still not managed to list on ebay, but had the PC off till just now... so may go and take some pics and get em listed now... have 40mins before my hollyoaks omnibus starts so can get some listed in that time then allow myself to chillax on the sofa!!

Text DH saying i think i need a lie in in the morning- he replied 'mmmmm lie in'- so just replied telling him he'll be lucky if he gets one, i was the one up all night!!

I'm still very annoyed!! Might also wait till he gets home then send him out for some teething gel!! Just to prolong the punishment a bit more!!

Inlaws 10 day visit has come to an end and they have gone!
Just cooked me and DH a curry with all the works as a change from the ham, potatoes and cabbage It was v tasty even if I say so myself!
Also had 2 glasses of lovely red wine that have gone straight to my head

We put XFactor on Sky+ whilst we ate so just about to watch it now. Can't believe it's back! One of my FB friends posted "XFactor is back. Nearly Christmas!" That's a bit scary!

Morning! Have added my guess below for Kooky's syndicate. Can;t believe how quickly the big day is coming round!
Only caught the last half hour of x-factor (will get the first half on ITV2 today) and agree, last singer (Daniel?) was amazing. Why couldn;t I have had teachers like that when I was at school??

All relatively peaceful here. Dds watching Milkshake on Ch5, ds having his nap, dh 'reading his book' in bed Must get on with my ebay again tonight to get spends for winter clothes!
Hope everyone is well
Oh and where is SORKY??? Am presuming on hols??

oh should also add that i have also eaten mukky D's and chippy in the last 2 days but still lost another 2lb!!!!

Diege · 23/08/2009 10:34

Wow GLASK that's impressive! Do you think it's the exercise, or a combination of diet too? I've been doing SW for the last week, and while I seem to have lost about 5 pounds from weighing myself during the week, a week on it's settled at 2 pounds which is typical for me as I tend to lose loads of water when I first start a healthy eating plan, and a weight-loss that achievable for my body type. I basically do high carbs, low fat and protein on SW green days and know I will get to my target weight in the end! Just really sick of my maternity clothes and have some nice bits and poieces I'm eyeing up from this winter's French Connection collection. Looking forward to starting the exercise again, as other than long walks am finding it impossiblke to fit anything structured into my day with the dds off - or am I just making excuses perhaps??
KAYZ, I know that horrible dread before going back to work all too well The thought of it is often worse than the reality, but can;t really give any advice other than it's something most of us go through and it's a horrible feeling, esp the day before. A few weeks in and you will feel much better though, promise xx
Ds transfixed by his reflection in play gym mirror, cooing away Not convinced by this SMA staydown just yet, as he brought about 3 ounces up this morning. I know I must give it time!!!

off to a 4th bday party soon

glaskham · 23/08/2009 11:02

Diege- i'm pretty sure its a little of both- i mean although i am eating crap food like maccy's and chippy (and having KFC tonight at my parents house) i'm then not having much more calorie-wise the rest of the day... eating mostly fruits, salads and veg.... exercise wize i'm currently doing at least 30mins a day... i do a tummy and thigh workout on the hula hoop, then do a thigh workout on the step aerobics, then workout my whole body on the boxing then i'll do a few balance games and muscle workouts, or some yoga poses.

Kayz- sorry missed your post- i know that dread from when i went back after having DS... though i was only going back one day a week- so every week i had the same feeling in the pit of my stomach!! It'll be tough to begin with but you'll get used to it sooner than you think!!

idreamofbeanie · 23/08/2009 12:01

Glask - congrats on the impressive weight loss.

Spotty - enjoy the birthday party

Diege - I'm not surprised you're finding it hard to fit more exercise in with 4 LOs at home! Good luck getting ebay stuff done. DS sounds very cute today cooing at his reflection.

Kayz - how many days a week will you be working? It must be horrible waiting to go back but I'm sure after a couple of weeks you'll quite enjoy some adult conversation. Are we still on for meeting up once I'm on maternity?

glaskham · 23/08/2009 14:38

Its very quiet on here.... have you also realised this thread has lasted us about 5 weeks so far?? thats probs the longest lasting thread in about 12 mths!!

DH has just finished painting our bedroom (started about 7mths ago) and we've moved the furniture about too and looks like we've got loads more room!!

spottywotwot · 23/08/2009 16:53

glas - room sounds good bet it looks lovely

what colour goes with dark blue and lilac?

enjoyed 4th bday party

Diege · 23/08/2009 17:27

Bedroom sounds good GLASK! Did you end up giving dh a good talking to by the way yesterday??
SPOTTY, believe it or not lime green goes really well with dark blue and lilac (remember seeing those colours in Aspace catalgue whose furniture I fantasise about for children's bedrooms!).
Hoping to catch the beginnings of x-factor that I missed on ITV2 at 6.30 (worst possible time here to actually watch tv/make a phone call/have a conversation). Didn;t realise it had been repeated on ITV1 this afternoon. Doh!!!

bodenaddict · 23/08/2009 17:33

cheers diege want to get big button dress from boden is dark blue with big lilac spots was looking @ lime green and blue tites they should go then

glaskham · 23/08/2009 19:57

Room looks really good- we've still got all our old furniture for now, but once we've put the 3rd bedroom in then we'll be getting all new furniture upstairs. We've just painted our room magnolia, we have a dark chocolate colour bedframe, and normally have chocolate satin or cream and beige bedding.

DH plans to do the bathroom magnolia tomorrow too.... when we moved in we stupidly went for outrageous colours- dark purple in our room, and dark blue in the bathroom- very big mistake as they're way too 'loud' for my taste now!!

Did try and broach the subject with DH, but i dont think he understands that just by his showing he was awake, and maybe even just offering to help- even if i declined it- would have helped me feel like he was supporting me!! DD2 was quite the same last night though, up for about 2hrs in the middle of the night, and he didn't wake up- or at least he didn't show that he was awake....

kookykid · 23/08/2009 20:15

spotty!!!!

Had a gorgeously lovely day here, but unexpectedly have gusets staying tonight so had to do a mad clean up and sorting beds etc. They're all currently out in the garden re-enacting the Ashes victory! Better get out there for my important role as umpire! Sorry, will be back in more detail tomorrow/
