Gruff, is it worth a trip to the docs? Though don't know about everyone else, but I find after having a baby it takes a good 6 months or so for everything to go properly back into place inside, so as it's all still moving around a bit it can be a bit uncomfortable. Hooray for packages, can we have a run down of what's in them?

Tink, so far he's had banana, apple, broccoli, pear and peas. I loathe everything to do with purees, can't stand making them, feeding them, looking at them, the smell - why do they smell so rotten? But he is nearing 7 months and I don't want to leave him any longer, if I was still BF'ing I'd have felt easier about leaving him till he 'got' the BLW, but, well I'm not BF'ing so puree it is...

Did I mention it's Friday BTW?

essenceofSES · 17/07/2009 09:06

Morning! Better night's sleep so feeling a bit refreshed. Meant to be doing our NCT keep fit session this morning so that will either blow away the cobwebs or completely knacker me out!

Gruff - does your stomach pain get worse after or before you eat or is it there the whole time or does it come and go? If it's persistent I'd do as Nat says and make an appointment for GP.

tink - big day then for DD1's last day at nursery! Will probably just pass her by!

Kay - hope you get to stay in bed past at least 6am (maybe even 7am or 8am!) soon! Shopping sounds good!

Nat - did you notice it's Friday??!

Diege · 17/07/2009 09:22

Morning! Tried for the second time this morning to contemplate squatting on toilet...raised feet off floor by about 2 inches as a compromise Breathed through the glass (knew those breathing exercises would come in useful) and really it sorts itself out in a week or two!
GRUFF, sounds painful Agree that it does take months for everything to adjust back after the birth, as all your organs have been squished about; may be worth a GP visit as SES says.
Enjoy your exercise class SES, if 'enjoy' is the right word! Glad you had a good night, if a little
Ooh KAYZ very of meadowhall visit. Did you buy much? Hoorah for good behaviour!
NAT , you know you won't be smiling this time next week eh? . I have one more week before it all kicks off here, though dd3 is in nursery part of the first week they're off to ease me in to it. Non-uniform day here for dd1 too (cue tantrum from dd2).
Looks like it's going to throw it down any minute...have the dreaded Jo jingles, and have promised visit to costa coffee too for dd3. Dh going out straight from work, so going to be a bit hectic - def pizzas for tea tonight!

Moosy · 17/07/2009 09:26

Diege, do you have a step that your DDs stand on? I put ours under my feet nearly every time I'm on the toilet, much comfier (and easier than climbing!)

bumpsnowjustplump · 17/07/2009 09:38

idreamofbeanie · 17/07/2009 10:35

Morning all,

I am turning into a total moan but I feel really grotty again this morning . I've had a really busy week and woke up yesterday feeling shattered, too hot, bloated (couldn't eat all day as felt too full and sick) and with a headache and sore hips. Thought I had just done too much so took the day off to relax but I didn't feel much better then DP rang last evening and said he felt the same so I think we might have a mild virus. I feel a bit better today though still crap BUT really glad it probably isn't just pregnancy related. Was dreading feeling like this for next 10 weeks.

GruffaloSoldier · 17/07/2009 11:04

Hello back again!

Have just been on the phone to my sister for over an hour - eek!

Re stomach pains it isn't there all the time, tends to be just sfter I've eaten and then goes again ie. i dont have it now but had it after breakfast.

Thats ok NJ you can be nosy I think there are baby gros for 3-6 months from one shop cant remember which and some 2-4 months ones from H&M and an outfit from my mums friend that I have never even met!

Ses - goodluck for keep fit!

Diege - Pizza sounds like a plan!

Hi Tink, Moosy, Bumps

ok GC is squawking better go....

GruffaloSoldier · 17/07/2009 12:01

HI IDOB sorry I missed your post as didn't refresh! Sorry to hear you are ill. Hopefully it won't be too long before you feel well again. Get as much rest as you can Im sure you will be over it in no time.

lastboxoftampons · 17/07/2009 13:16

Hello everyone

LOL Bump at your post and run! Hope to see you back soon!

Gruff - Yikes for stomach pains, but does sound like something having to do with eating rather than an actual stomach issue IYSWIM? More along the lines of wind, etc. HOpe it gets better soon.

IDOB - Sorry you're not well Is it worth a trip to the doctor? You can't be too careful when you're pg.

Ses - have a lovely training session!!! Hope it goes well and you feel empowered rather than knackered!

Diege - mental picture of you squatting on toilet has stained my brain!

Kay - sorry for having to be up so early. I don't know how you do it! 5am is not the morning, it's the middle of the night! Sounds like DH needs a kick up the bum!

Sorky - LOL at your deviant eating in DH's side of the bed streak! how evil of you!

NJ - Do you know what day it is??? Can I add to your list - it's my LLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTT DDDDDDDAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY OOOOOOOFFFFFFFFF WWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOORRRRRRRRKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!

5 more hours to go!
Had a tour of the labour ward yesterday - nothing like leaving it to the last minute! and met with NCT girls for a non-alcoholic drink in the pub. Have been listening to Sorky's hypno-birthing CD, but need to get serious about it as I'm usually doing 'something else' at the same time (yesterday it was sanding and painting the hallway ) Anyway, looking forward to next week off - hopefully the little one will stay put for a bit and give me some time to relax - and then arrive promptly on his due date!

tinkisback · 17/07/2009 13:59

sorky · 17/07/2009 16:47

Diege did you do that bloody raindance?
It's pissing it down here and my garden is seriously flooded!

LB I like your hit n run post-style

I'm more furious with Dh than ever!

Tink I hope weather gets better for CP for you

Moosy · 17/07/2009 17:06

What's he done now Sorky?

Mine's off out to the pub tonight I think I'll have a nice evening of telly, then big spacious bed

The top arrived today, but it's too small already this bump is getting ridiculous!

Sparklytwinkletoes · 17/07/2009 17:55

Hi guys

NJ - Hooray for last day of term

Tink - think your weaning plans sound fine

Sorky - What's he done?

Moosy - big spacious bed sounds good, DS has totally grown out of his cot/bed and keeps falling out, he ends up in our bed every night and there is increasingly less space! Roll on getting his new room finished complete with a bigger bed!!!

OK, just to add to the whinge list, I now have diarrhoea (why? isn't it supposed to go the other way?), bad backache, lots of BH's and a very sore left boob (why just one? I mean, I don't want two sore boobs, but still....).

hurrumph.

tinkisback · 17/07/2009 18:11

cheers sorky dont mind to much as swimming bit is inside probably spend most of our time in there

cheers sparkly - she had sweet potatoe jar this evening seemed to enjoy
poor you with runs not nice

Diege · 17/07/2009 19:38

Arghh, just lost post!
To recap, sorry MOOS, yes arindance does appear to have worked . If it's any consolation have suffered greatly (think school run with 4 of them, inc. crying baby, blowing down hood, torrential rain and toddler who has two speeds, slow and slower...
STT, I also had diarreah (sp?) towards the end, on and off from beg of third trimester, with the odd bout of constipation thrown in.Odd about just the one sore boob!
TINKS, I'm sure I was told you shouldn;t try and have meat-based protein at 2 meals - ie, have at, say, lunch (eg. chicken and rice) and then give a non-meat protein (eg. scrambled eggs) based meal at tea so they have longer to break it down before bed?? I may be making this up completely, so feel free to ignore!
Managed to get through tea and bedtime with the 4 of them...think the secret is in the timing - ie.aim to do everything an hour earlier than normal and with any luck will keep to normal timings . All in bed and quiet (for now), though in the words of the song I repdict a riot anytime in the next 30 mins...
Off to view a few houses tomorrow, then shopping with friend (and J) pm. Not heard back about our offer on dream house, so broadening our options!

Kayzr · 17/07/2009 20:11

Very quick post(oh I love my new iPod)

I fell down the stairs with DS2 earlier. I managed to keep him close to me so he is fine. He even giggled as we fell. I had to call gp out to check DS2. He then checked me when I stopped being so hysterical. I have badly sprained my ankle and he thinks I may have torn my achillies. Just need to let the swelling go down. I have some gorgeous shoes that I got for tomorrow as we are going on the diner train and I now can't wear them.

Hope everyone is ok.

Diege · 17/07/2009 21:38

Oh no KAYZ that does sound serious Don;t worry about the shoes, they'll be many opportunities in the future, I'm just worried about your achilles!! Take a seat in the wagon sick bay next to the pregnant poorlies!!
All quiet here, despite a few stern words for dds 1&2 when I found them reading a where's wally book together in dd2's bed when they should have turned the light off . I was quite harsh considering it's a Friday and they were hardly wrecking the place ..still, routine and all that ...
Night all, and speak tomorrow!

bumpsnowjustplump · 18/07/2009 08:03

Morning all. Well I tried GF yesterday and ds just laughed at me!!!!! Instead of napping he almost rolled out of his mosses so put him in the cot and then he just kept rolling up and down laughing.... When i tried to feed him he keep looking at me, pulled off and grinned.... And he was up 5 times last night... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzz

diege/sorky could you pop down for a couple of days and help me out???

Sorky what has dh done? men are gits to be sure...

Mossy glad you are blooming nicely, i love big bumps (not in a lesbian way )

Hi to everyone else, day 5 of dairy today and no adverse effect from ds yet!!! Today i am going into town and having a cappuccino and cake (just because I can)

bumpsnowjustplump · 18/07/2009 08:06

Oh yes almost forgot back to gf!!! When I left him naked while I ran the bath he folled over and peed all over the bloody carpet!!!!!!!!!!!! grrrrrrrrrr

DP and dd are still in bed asleep.. dont they realise I WANT A LIE IN ........................

essenceofSES · 18/07/2009 09:46

My laptop seems to be playing up at the moment. Put it on last night and just nothing appeared on the screen. This morning it seems to be ok.

We've got my brother and his girlfriend coming over later this afternoon and staying for take away. My brother hasn't seen O for nearly a month so I think he'll notice a difference (nearly 2lb of difference ) and his girlfriend hasn't met O at all yet as she's just moved down from Scotland 2 weeks ago. She sounds quite broody...

Bumps - your GF struggles made me smile I'm afraid... Not the being up 5 times in the night though.
Yay for dairy!!

Sorky - whatever DH has (or hasn't!) done, I hope he's "behaving" now!

Kay - that sounds scary and painful

Diege - cute DDS Sort of thing I used to do...

LBOT - not long now!!!

tink - are you packed?

sorky · 18/07/2009 10:02

He was so hungover he still felt sick the next day. We had a dental appt for everyone at 10am and I got the clothes for the baby together and asked him to get her dressed, whilst I saw to everyone else.
20minutes later he'd done absolutely nothing!

THEN 5 minutes before we due to leave (me having done everything on my own) he announced he wasn't going because he felt sick
I was apoplectic and let him have it
He was making me do the dentist run, with all four of them, in the bloody rain, nightmare parking, etc on my own because he felt sick!!

Everyone knows the Dentist is the hardest appt to do with 4 kids, grrr! The kids were actually really well behaved, but I need another appt next week for root canal work
Oh and the dentist knew why he wasn't there curtesy of Dd1 "Daddy's too drunk to come" hehehe

However, he gave me his credit card today, so I hit the Next sale this morning and took my revenge
