blimey this thread has moved quickly think i have caught up now

am fed up of everyone saying that i will see so much more at my 12 week scan which is on 22nd june but i still having this doubt that something wont be right after mc at 5 weeks at end march

i know i have gone further and probably being irrational - even dh says everything is fine this time but apart from sore boobs, putting on weight, constantly tired and occassionally feeling sick i have nothing else to go by

Evening all

Gosh this is moving quickly! Its taken me all evening to catch up, in between online shopping for DD's extravaganza at the weekend. I have spent today on the sofa recovering from the ordeal of yesterday. I'm still getting the pains but I am less worried.

Skidoodle I can totally relate, I sometimes sit and think "what AM I doing" especially as I feel so rough. I feel I should be grateful that we managed to get pregnant so easily this time after 5 years of treatment to get DD. I blame it on hormones!

Sorry for lack of responses to posts - but my brain doesn't seem to be able to retain information very well at the moment!

Welcome to all the new mummies to be and good luck to all those who have scans and tests tomorrow.

sleepingalot · 10/06/2009 23:00

Oh and Londonlottie - i cried last night at the end of kindergarten cop. . It is official, brain has gone to mush.

Also am I the only one on here who is so desperately excited and wants to be able to tell everyone now! I dont know why but am not apprehensive, just really really excited. And grateful. And I just want everything to be ok. Am sure life with 2 DC's is harder, but deep down, I am just so over the moon! I remember not feeling this excited with DS and I think it was my way of protecting myself from getting my hopes up high. No self protection this time then!!

Have good days all. And good luck once again to all those getting scans.

Hi everyone have had blood tests done and didn't faint or cry went to the blood clininc this time. So I am happy.

iateallthecreameggsyummy · 11/06/2009 09:41

Excellant Timmette at least it done and out the way!

Biccy · 11/06/2009 10:07

Hi susiey and quirkychick. Well done Timette, glad you've got that over and done with.

Good luck to all you scan ladies today.

Wonder how Sersi is getting on....

I've no idea how people are making it out so early! I have just got out of the shower and am still in towels. Am feeling really rough this morning, and really not sure what I'm going to do all day with dd. Hats off to you people working full time... at least I can lol about in towels this morning and dd doesn't bat an eyelid.

Am feeling a bit happier because my bloat seems to have gone down a bit. I am past 7 weeks now, and realise I am starting to thinnk of the baby as real; which scares me a bit.

iateallthecreameggsyummy · 11/06/2009 10:20

Morning Biccy, im like you just sat chilling no work till 3 today so doing nothing!!

I totally understand how you feel about the baby being real! Im 8 weeks tommorrow we think......... and im trying desperately hard not to get attached due to mc, but still find myself rubbing my belly telling bubs to keep growing!

bethoo · 11/06/2009 10:55

iateallthecremeeggsyummy i cant access your profile to see your dogs. the one up passed away last year suddenly and unexpectadly as he was at the vets on his once a year check up and booster and just collapsed in the waiting room, the vet tried to revive him with adrenalin and oxygen but his heart never recovered! of all the days, but at least i know that even had he collapsed at home there was nothing anyone even a vet could have done to save him.

i have two cats too and the male though he constantly fights (he is neutered but does not realise it! he is riddled with tics so every eneving i am picking them of with that corkscrew green thing you get from the vets! tics are the creepiest things in the world!!

i feel great today which worries me! still early days though. but then i am at 10 weeks so maybe my ms etc is easing up a bit. my boobs were never sore as just stopped bf which may explain a lot! anyone elses symptoms easing up?

I will try to see why my pics cant be viewed in a minute.

Annie i work part time i dont know how you guys cope working full time im ready for a nap already this morning but im fighting it!

iateallthecreameggsyummy · 11/06/2009 11:00

I hope your infection isnt to bad! Im sure if they thought it was dangerous they would not make you wait till Monday! Good luck on results maybe call tommorrow and she if they have come in early?

Biccy · 11/06/2009 11:05

oh dear anniemac that sounds painful. Hope you get better soon. bethoo I think at 10 weeks you might be starting to get over the feeling crap stage, so try not to worry? And so sorry about your dog, that must have been such a shock.

timmette · 11/06/2009 11:15

Hope you feel better soon anniemac.
Has anyone else been sticking their tummy out dh says I am . Am almost 11 weeks now - and have a nuchal scan in 2 weeks - if everything is ok then I will relax. I am in denial too sometimes.

bethoo · 11/06/2009 11:17

thanks ladies it has been a while and now have two dogs again though my spaniel as mentioned before is a bane! he is terribly overweight as he wont stop eating! he has to be kept in the kitchen at dinner times now as my ds will throw his food at him and he eats my boxers food so has to be locked away! i even caught him eating a mouse that one of my cats (probably the male!) bought in!
Biccy i hope you are right especially as i have told the majority of my friends and my parents! i did warn everyone though that it was early days, i just cant stand the awkwardness of it all if you mc you know?
it is still too early to get my doppler out as it only works after 11 weeks but will check that placenta is still pumping!
my appetite is still sporadic in that i still cant eat certain stuff and still crave salty food and carbs! usually eat low fat low carb you see!

i have requested to join the fb jan 09 mums by the way incase you are wondering who the woman wearing glasses is holding a baby!

bethoo · 11/06/2009 11:18

timmette i am one of those ladies who holds their tummy in! it is getting harder now fighting against nature but that is just due to one too many packets of salt and vinegar crisps!

does anyone else get spells of feeling really weak/dizzy/faint?

timmette · 11/06/2009 11:23

Yes bethoo I did suffer pretty badly with dizziness and fainting until my gynae told me to eat every 2 hours and before I get out of bed - since then haven't fainted and feel loads better.

somewhathorrified · 11/06/2009 11:27

Morning all! Bets on how many new threads we get through until we reach expulsion time.

timmette I have to say no, def not been sticking tummy out, seems to be doing it naturally at the moment, very off putting when wearing a 'spray on' dress!

I'm also in denial about being preggers, it just doesn't click in my head. I think it's cos you are 'supposed' to vomit (or at least feel ill) and I just feel normal...well normalish (lets not discuss the additction to food that's developed and the boobs).

I've got 3 cats all of which have taken to pawing my boobs...it's like "Get off! do I look like a mummy cat!"

Btw, I live in NN10 just in case anyone else is around this area.

bethoo · 11/06/2009 11:30

i live in wiltshire
