Evening girls, HK sweetheart good to have you back sorry the news wasn't as good as we would have all liked. Hope things start to improve for you soon as you've really had a rough time of it so far haven't you.
How lovely that ds2 is walking it always looks so cute when they are just learning. Had to lol at the image of the tee-shirt I think my ds was a late developer and has only just found his at the age of three but is more than making up for lost time fiddling with it. He was scared of it at first when we started potty training so I've told it's his to do what he likes with - needless to say now he can't leave it alone - typical man
Diege yep same sort of feelings here got a bit worried as hadn't really felt anything this week but had 16 week check up today and heard heartbeat which made me feel much better.
Blood pressure is still rather high so they are going to do a kidney scan at my 23 week scan just to make sure that I'm not doing myself any real damage, was nagged about not drinking enough ho hum.
How the bloody hell are you so small if you were a 3 bar a day girl, what were they 'cos whatever they were I'll have to try them when I'm dieting next time round
Ouch at the spending spree, my dh would have a fit!
Have a great holiday I'll catch up with you on the 16th when I get back from Spain, 10 days visiting my parents - can't wait roll round Sunday.
Rodeo you lucky thing, we all know what you'll be up to this evening and if you weren't already on this thread you'd probably be joining a later one after a full night off from the kids Hope you have a really nice meal and lots of fun with your hubby and get to remember what it was like pre kids.
My parents have promised us a few evenings out on our own while we're away, must find a book on small talk about things other than ds and bump so that we don't just sit around looking at each other all evening
Chacha sweetheart try not to worry about the blood tests too much they'll be over before you know it and I can assure you nothing will worry or embarrass you ever again after this baby makes an appearance. By the time all the tests have been completed during this 40 weeks you'll find giving blood as easy as downing your favourite tipple and I bet you'll even consider giving blood you'll find it so easy And just think when no. 2 comes along you won't even bat an eye lid at blood tests, you'll just hold up your arm and say go on then. By the way didn't have bloods at 16 weeks have them at 28 & 34 weeks instead so you may get away with it if you're really lucky!
Right better go as dh is waiting to get on here to finish his game and he's been to the pub after work so I'll probably have to go and wake him up off the sofa 'cos I've been on here so long.
Hope everyone is well and that Jenjam has a safe trip I'm sure I said that to her before! Speak to you all tomorrow. Beks 16+4
