Afternoon,

I can't find a due in Feb thread, but I suppose it's very early still!

Got my BFP on tuesday, with a due date of Feb 3. It's still not quite sunk in - I've had to take another three tests since then just to check

I'm spending far too much time already planning for this baby when I should be working, please tell me I'm not the only one who is completely obsessed. And that I will calm down eventually!

Anyway, would love to chat with some other newly upduffed types.

Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine todayand wow to anyone already feeling movements, I haven't got a clue whats going on in there at the moment.

we have now told our parents that I am pregnant followed by the and its twins bit, they are getting over the shock slowly, especially the in laws who will get two sets of twin grandchildren within 3 months.

Becks I hope your son is ok now.

esselle Air con and ice cream sounds good to meand wind seems to be a big issue for me too

ktpie my eldest son was 9 end of may, ds2 will be 8 beginning of oct, dd was 3 end of may and ds3 will be 2 end of nov. The eldest two are at a nice age as they understand about the twins and are excited. It will be the 4 under 4 bit that will be interesting

Wow, Insanity you certainly know how to live up to your name. Exciting times!

Had combined scan today at 11+3. It was amazing! (Well, apart from throwing up in the hospital car park, but don't think I was the first and prob won't be the last. Shame about the audience though!) Saw bubs doing little flips and wriggling happily. The lady said the nuchal measurement was normal, but we will have to wait until next week for the bloods.
It all seems more real now. Have been more sick than ever this week, so I was starting to worry that things weren't right, but scan has alleviated that. I'm hoping and praying the sickness will ease soon.

Good luck for the scans still to come.

hi everyone,

twins how exciting twice as much fun.

i have had heartburn for weeks now was a nightmare when my ms was bad as couln't stomach gaviscon.

booked an apointment with the hypnobirth people for mondy so excited about that.

was doing my diary at work today and was trying to work out when to finish. can't belive how quick it is coming in this baby will be hare before i know it.

Morning Ladies,

Skibelle, Congratulations on your scan and I hope MS starts to ease for you soon.

I have my scan at 12pm today so I decided to go to the cinema last night to take my mind off it, also my sister had DS so wanted to make the most of the evening. We went to see Harry Potter and I have to say that I was quite disapointed, has anyone else seen it? What did you think?

Well I better start to get ready and I'll let you all know how I get on.

Hi All

I'm going to have to bow out of this thread I'm afraid, I've just found out that I've had a missed miscarriage, the baby stopped developing at 6 weeks.

Good Luck to all you lovely ladies and all of those gorgeous babies you'll be churning out in Feb. I'll be keeping a close eye on this thread and will be looking forward to finding out how many boys and girls you have between you all.

Bobbyrainbow I am very sorry to hear your news. Missed miscarriages are particularly cruel. I have had 2 recently so please ask me anything if you can think of any questions you need answering. Take care and good luck for the future x

I went on a cycle run with dh and ds today, and kind of overdid it a bit. I have been tired at the best of times, but was wiped after a fairly quick 30mins each way cycle, and playing at the park/paddling pool with ds in between. It just makes me wonder how all these athletes manage to train so hard right throughout pregnancy. Mind you, I ain't no athlete, ah, perhaps that's the trouble!!!

Anyone having movements yet? I have some serious flutters going on! I guess second time round you recognise it more, DH thinks I'm mad and its just wind!

I read on here that others were having movements, but I think I am very last (due 28th - so 4 weeks behind the early febs) so no movements here yet. I am only 11wks tomorrow.

It doesn't stop me imagining that I am feeling movement though!!

I have had a few 'maybe' flutters but nothing definite yet. I think it is still early days for all that. I am looking forward though to the first proper kick where I am in no doubt what it is.

Well I have a lovely week planned. Doing nothing. I should be working, but my company still hasn't found a suitable alternative to my normal job (which I can't do when preg). Dd is booked in nursery because I should be working so I have a week to myself. Bliss. Inspired by Mawbroons energetic day I think I shall head to the gym for a swim.

Anyone got scans this week? If so my fingers are crossed for you.

Oh yes! Don't I know it. I used to cuddle into dh when ds started kicking hard at night. If I was being kept awake, then so was dh!!!

DS was stuck in the breech position in my funny shaped uterus, and he tried to turn almost every night from about 33 weeks! It was like an octopus in my belly!!

Bobbie, really sorry to hear your news.

I've got my scan at 0830 tomorrow and I'm now starting to worry. Going to read a good book, go to sleep and hopefully I'll be up and scanned before I know it!

Had a really glutinous weekend and so I have a fat bloated belly rather than a bump! If all goes well tomorrow I can see a week of healthy eating and gentle exercise approaching!

3.10yo DS was feeding this morning, and he informed me that my boobs are bigger because I have a baby in my tummy.

Morning,

I had my scan on Friday and all went well, baby was asleep so didn't move, only to shoo us away with he/she's hand! It also looked very grumpy and did not want to be woken up!

When DS saw the scan picture he was over the moon to see his baby brother/sister and has told us that he is calling the baby Rocket as he think it looks like a rocket
