Morning,

GYo, Hope you had a good birthday!!

Glask, Happy birthday!!! Hope you have a great day!!

STT, Hope you get something sorted with cleaning, our house is awful but it just seems like once I tidy it, it gets messy again. I'm sure DS1 follows me pulling everything back out again!

We have a rabbit and a hutch. Well we are getting them this afternoon!!! We can't wait but have no idea what to call it!!

Hope you are all ok!!

SesHasFinallyBecomeAMum · 11/06/2009 07:50

Haha! x-posted with you BNJP!!
Sorry things didn't improve overnight
Hopefully a small set back and he'll continue to make progress.

SesHasFinallyBecomeAMum · 11/06/2009 07:53

Morning Kay! V excited for you re rabbit and hutch. You'll have to post some piccies! Have you got a name for the rabbit yet?

Glask - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Hope you have a good day getting spoilt

bumpsnowjustplump · 11/06/2009 07:59

Happy birthday Glask....

Kay we have two g pigs called charlie and lola.....

ses we are hoping to leave here at 9.30 so looking to get to you around 11, do you need me to pick up anything on the way?

Kayzr · 11/06/2009 08:01

She is a really light grey/lilac colour so we did think about Smokey but not sure.

SesHasFinallyBecomeAMum · 11/06/2009 08:03

Thanks but should be fine as popped into town yesterday with mum. I've got some stuff we could have for lunch.
Btw, the journey can be v mixed dependant on traffic so don't worry if you're early/late - we'll be here!

SesHasFinallyBecomeAMum · 11/06/2009 08:07

I like Smokey. My rabbit was a lovely gingery/sandy colour and was called Logan. I'd love to get another but not so easy with the dogs as I do think they should be regularly taken out of the hutch and handled.

Diege · 11/06/2009 08:07

Hello! Enjoy your meet-up SES and LB! Hope last night was just a blip LB - it might be that things get gradually better rather than resolving overnight?
Happy birthday GLASK! Hope you have a lovely day
KAYZ, great about the rabbit; look forward to piccies .
Well not sure what's going on here. Have been having irregular contractions since about 4.30am, seem to be spacing out a bit now I'm up and mobile. Dh has dropped older dds at childminders, and will be back to get dd3 to drop at nursery in a minute. Really hope this is it as timing would be perfect with all 3 looked after . Will update soon as

Kayzr · 11/06/2009 08:10

Ooooh Diege, I have my fingers crossed for you!!

SesHasFinallyBecomeAMum · 11/06/2009 08:10

Dd2 slept from 8-4 with a dreamfeed at 10pm, but crucially then slept from 4-7.30am!! No hourly feeds.
I woke up engorged, but rested.
Had to express milk out and got 3oz after she'd finished!

Hope everyone has a lovely day

julesisoneyearolder · 11/06/2009 10:00

go diege good luck

kay exciting about rabbit

ses sorry about sick again

off to tumble club with girls

idreamofbeanie · 11/06/2009 10:14

Ooo how exciting Diege - I will be checking in regularly for updates!

Jules - enjoy tumbletots

BNJP - sorry DS was sick again last night. Hopefully the meds are just taking a little while to settle and you'll see an improvement again today.

Sorky - yah for night out and for DD sleeping well.

Kay - hooray for rabbit, your boys will love it. You'll have to post some pics when it arrives.

I've woken up feeling all teary this morning for no real reason. I think I'm maybe a bit stressed about DPs interview tomorrow as I REALLY want him to get offered the job so he can move up. Also noticed I am getting stretch marks on my tummy . I'm not surprised - I just have that skin type but was hoping they wouldn't start yet. I'm only 24 weeks so how bad will they be by 40 weeks ? Not something I would usually get upset about but the hormones seem to be in full flow today. Could do with a little cry but think I might get some strange looks in the office .

Kayzr · 11/06/2009 10:27

Get bio oil IDOB!!! It is really good.

Diege · 11/06/2009 11:16

Just to update, things seemed to be progressing nicely until having a bath at 10am when contractions slowed to one every 30 mins . Seeing midwife this pm anyway, but looks like this 'prelabour' thing I read about . Still, am hopeful something's happending, albeit slowly? Off to nandos for lunch now

Kayzr · 11/06/2009 11:20

Have something spicy!!!

lastboxoftampons · 11/06/2009 12:25

Ooooh, Diege! Good luck! Hoping it all progresses for you at just the right pace! You do have that bag packed, right?

LB - so sorry about the set back Hoping it's just a 1 step forward, 1/2 step back thing. Keep up the good work!

IDOB - So sorry for the emotional day But it happens sometimes, you need to let yourself get it out! But if that's not doable at work, then have some chocolate!

Kay - Lovely about the rabbit! Mine was Thumper - somewhat predictable! Is it a boy or a girl? Love Lavendar

GYO - hope you had a lovely birthday. yes, do tell us what DH made for you! Still no pram decision, but I'm leaning more and more towards the Bee. biggest concern is still the size. I was in Waitrose yesterday which is Bee city and saw babies of differing sizes in them - some were fine, some looked totally cramped. But then I was on overground train - rush hour and jam packed because of the tube strike and saw a woman with a Britax and one with a regular Bug and thought there's no way I'm doing that with something that big - so, another point for the Bee then. So confused!

Glask - Happy Birthday!

Sorky - Sounds like a great night out with the girls! Your DH must be an angel - and so nice that your DD slept through!!!

Ses & LB - have a lovely visit! Take pics!!!!

STT - it seems all our clothes are black anyway I guess it's the NYer in me coming out! So I just throw them all in together! DH did laundry while I was away - it's still on the bed in the spare room in a pile not folded

So I'm 34 weeks tomorrow - my boobs were really sore for the first tri, but have since settled down. This morning I woke up and they're very tender. Is this supposed to happen at this point? Is there a reason why? I'm sure it's normal, but just thought I'd ask. I'm also a bit concerned as this little boy is definitely not in position yet! He's moving all around and normally I can't tell what's what, but on the train this morning I know he was definitely transverse as I felt a head and a bum! and they were on opposite sides of my tummy!

Also really annoyed with the mw again! I have an appointment on June 25, but for selfish reasons was wanting to see if I could get in earlier to ask her a few questions (mostly trying in vain to find out how long overdue they'll let me go and about his general size & position to see if I can help my parents decide when to come over). Called the surgery and they told me the next available appointment is 20 July! That's 4 days before my due date! Aren't I supposed to see the mw fortnightly from 36 weeks?

Sparklytwinkletoes · 11/06/2009 12:29

Oh Diege, how exciting! Up and mobile, up and mobile!

My pre-labour went on for four days with DS, contracting all night then dozing during the day, think he was preparing me for his own nocturnal habits! Hope its not too long for you now.

IDOB, I think the tearful thing must be par for the couse at this stage, coz I just keep bursting into tears and every minor blip seems to be an absolute mountain to climb. Hang on in there, remind yourself its all natural, let out the tears when you can, and take lots of deep breaths!

Why does no-one live near me? I want to meet up .

Kayzr · 11/06/2009 12:34

I was awfully tearful!! I still am actually. I watch that biggest loser on itv and I cry at nearly every episode. Considering there is one every weekday, I do a lot of blubbing.

idreamofbeanie · 11/06/2009 13:16

Thanks guys, I'm glad I'm not the only one to have these teary days. Could do with an evening on the sofa I think but going to friends for dinner tonight and don't want to cancel - it'll probably be great and stop me moping .

STT -sorry you are having teary days too . Where do you live - I'm sure a few wagoners must be within easy traveling distance.

LBOT - that's crazy, surely you have to see the midwife before then. Sounds like they just don't want to move the appt you have booked. LOL at prams - I'm just refusing to even look at other prams now in case I see something that changes my mind. Def going for the red vigour 3+ and I'm going to get the carrycot (even though they only do it in black now and I really wanted it in red). It's probably not necessary but you only have 1 PFB .

Glask - happy birthday!

Kayzr · 11/06/2009 13:40

Just wanted to check if I am really sad or normal. I ordered myself some new clothes at the weekend. Just 3 tops, 2 dresses, some jeans, some leggings and some gorgeous wedges. They all arrived today and I found myself like a kid at xmas and rushed upstairs to try them on.

DH thinks I am mad but does anyone else do it?

julesisoneyearolder · 11/06/2009 13:45
