Hello everyone, could I join please? Very excited and scared to be pregnant with my first baby. Due on 12 January. Only symptom so far (apart from positive pregnancy test of course!) is rapidly expanding chest so it doesn't feel quite real at the moment!

Sersi · 11/05/2009 10:23

Hello and congratulations thekurgan

lynchy09 · 11/05/2009 16:11

Hi can u add me too

Im due to my calculations 15.1.2010, i have DS aged 14months

STA1mum · 11/05/2009 17:38

Can I jump on this bus too please?

Hi I am 38 and have DS 15 months and pregnant again, due on 08 Jan. Can't really believe it as only stopped BFing one month ago and am sorry to have missed my 'going-out-and-enjoying-getting-drunk-window' - just once was all I wished for but it wasn't to be. Have done 3 tests as still coming around to it, DS took 2 years of TTCing. Have never joined a thread before, have however watched from the sidelines. Only sympton so far is peeing...a lot!

Looking forward to sharing the next several months with you.

Hello Everyone! Congrats to everyone on here.
Can I join the thread too?? Found out yesterday that I am pregnant...due date Jan 18th...

Am very excited. DS1 was born Sept 07, so is just over 20 months old. Was on the antental group for Sept 07, and everyone was so lovely. Am still in touch with quite a few of the ladies from there.

Aside from the need to eat non stop (same with DS1, had hollow legs the whole of my first trimester), have no other symptoms.

alibobins · 11/05/2009 18:16

Sickness has kicked in good and proper today (sick face)can't eat
Hope it doesn't last long.
Doctors rang with midwife appointment for 28th so not too long to wait i'll be 9 weeks then.

alfiesmadmother · 11/05/2009 19:35

alibobins, poor you!! I am still at the occasionally feeling nauseous stage, waiting for the big barfathon.

I have been sleeping poorly and been really hungry, My tummy is already swelling

zen1980 · 11/05/2009 21:13

Hey everyone,

Glad to see we are growing already!! ( in the sense of the thread) no reference to your waistline Alfie!!

Well today I have been completly up and down, at the moment and occasionally feeling a bit sick, sore boobs and cant sleep. Hoping all good signs because I just cant think but take it one day at a time after my mmc in Jan.

Am booked in to see doc on Thurs am as was told by mw last time could request early scan so hope it will be in a coupole of wks as i am 6weeks tomorrow x

Hope you all have a nice night xx

soooooooexcited · 11/05/2009 21:48

Hiya . Firstly huge Congrats to you all

can I join . soooooooo excited ! found out an hour ago that I'm pregnant - due date 20.01.10 a cool birth date I think.

I have a gorgeous little boy who was 2 last month. Decided to start TTC in Jan . With my DS it took just one month to conceive, this time 4 months- the longest time of my life thought it would never happen!Got a bit obsessed with the whole TTC lark ,counting days etc .I have never posted before but have been ' legging it' behind the Nov/ Dec buses.

Actualy it was alfiesmadmother who made me think I could be as I have had no symptoms at all really apart from very strange/ vivid dreams and extreme thirst at night , so on the back of her post I tested a day early and ' Bingo' it said preganant . Yippee

timmette · 12/05/2009 06:35

Hi everyone great to see the bus filling up nicely . Well so far I have constant peeing, bit teary, bra doesn't fit, and morning sickness started yesterday - so I guess I am very definately pregnant - lol. Got a gynae appointment on the 25th and I'll have a scan then - I hope everything goes well. I am really nervous after mc but feel much more pregnant this time around.

alfiesmadmother · 12/05/2009 07:56

sooooooooooooexited, glad it's not just me. As soon as I lie down to go to bed I need a the toilet and my mouth instantly dries up, it's awful!

Ooh so excited to have people to go through this with this time!!

Hi everyone hope you are all well this morning. It's good to see the list filling up nicely.

I am feeling quite excited as I have my first ante-natal appointment this afternoon. I know its the boring paperwork appointment but it makes it seem much more real.

Leonifay, any more news from you? I know you were very worried last week.

Sersi, congrats to you even if you don't feel like it. I have to say when I got my BFP with my son my first thought was 'oh sh*t' despite him being planned.

zen1980, it has to be said that my waistline seems to be growing in direct proportion to this thread. I am so bloated I am sure I look about 3-4 months gone.

sockmonster · 12/05/2009 10:15

Hello ladies, can I tentatively join you?

EDD DC2 07/01/2010

I knew I was pg a week before I did a test because I suddenly needed a cinnamon bun from starbucks and was willing to kill anyone who got in my way! Weird

Sockmonster and Marmitemonster - am I being a bit thick are you one and the same?
Marmitemonster - I am so so sorry to hear about your dd - I can only imagine how heartbreaing that must be. It is totally fine to have mixed feelings about your pregnancy - hugs. Feel free to be yourself on here even if you are sad.
I think we share the same due dated - .

marmitemonster - can't even begin to imagine what you are going through - so so sorry you're suffering such heartbreak. timmette is right - here is definitely a place you can be sad/happy whatever you need to be.

xxx

I had ds in the UK and I believe you make an appointment with midwife when you know you are pregnant and then they schedule the appointment somewhere around week 10 - if my memory works well.
I am seeing my gynae when I will be 7-8 weeks but that's a bit different.
