Morning and CONGRATULATIONS to all, and thanks Kitty for the link to this thread. I'm a new girl (of 38) on the block, and very excited to announce that baby number ONE is on the way!!

Big sis told me all about MN, and eventhough I've been popping by over the past year, I finally have a legitimate reason to join all you lovely ladies.

TTC 18mths. BFP on Friday. EDD 02/01/2010

Fiancé and big sis (only) both say I look glowing... already? But feel tired, hungry with sore boobs mostly. Folic acid (tick) but just wondered if anyone can recommend a good prenatal vitamin supplement please.

Another set of congratulations to leonifay and t4tastic. It's so lovely to see the excitement that both of you are having with your first pregnancies..I love it!

I've had a bit of a disappointing morning as I have just had some bleeding. Didn't have any with the first one so I am wondering if this is a sign of a chemical pregnancy? Any advice would be greatly received! I figure that I just keep an eye on it and perhaps take a test in a couple of days!?!?!

tafftaff - I had 2 episodes of bleeding (not v heavy, more like spotting) at around 6 and 7 weeks with my first pregnancy (this is my second), I told my GP who said it was not uncommon but referred me for a scan at 8 weeks to check all was ok and it was, my DS is now 14 months. I would make an appointment with your GP as they should be able to advise and maybe put your mind at ease, best of luck x

Very excited here too . Found out yesterday that we're expecting DC2 EDD 11th January.

Fingers crossed for tafftaff. I also had bleeding at about 4/5 weeks with DS1, I actually thought it was AF and didn't find out I was pregnant until 2 weeks later (so a lot more than spotting which would have really concerned me if I'd have known) and all was well. So hopefully nothing to worry about. Agree with lizzylu, best to make an appointment though.

Thanks for all the support but unfortunately, it looks like this one wasn't meant to be. However, I've got an absolutely gorgeous little boy and count my blessings every day that we are lucky enough to have him. Anyway...here's to you guys having wonderful and trouble-free pregnancies.

Hi everyone can I join too I have just discovered I'm pregnant guestimate 7 Jan. I have one ds 3. And am very excited and nervous as I lost twins a few moths ago but hopefully I will be lucky this time.

timmette. Nice to see you again. Good to see the CBFM did us both good even though yours was a bit random.

Hope everyone else is good. Am feeling tired, nauseous and needing to pee a lot (sorry if tmi) so so far so good. We couldn't keep it quiet so now family and friends know i'm pg now.

Hi KittyKat I know I can't believe my dodgy CBFM actually worked - lol. Am feeling much like you tired, peeing a lot and nauseas haven't told anyone yet after what happened last time - although not sure how long I can keep that up - I am so excited.

i've guesstimated my date, it should be somewhere around there.

kittykat i know what you mean about needing to pee alot, its non stop, with my mindees asking to day why i was always going to the toilet! i also went to see the doctor to get a referall to see the midwife, the doc was pretty useless in the information she gave but did give me a referall.

i told my mum today, i'm so excited i dont know how i'm going to keep quiet!

Hi leonifay good to see you here and due the same day as me (in theory anyway ). Good to see you managed to convince your DH that a test was necessary. Women may have been conceiving for thousands of years without needing opk's but then mankind has also survived this long without needing the sports channels! At least opk's are (generally) cheaper

I'd love to join you, if that's ok. I got my BFP for no2 at the weekend. Bit of a surprise (I have PCOS and thought no1 was a minor miracle), but i'm thrilled now that it's sunk in

EDD is 6th Jan. DD is 13 months.

telling people already... nobody would believe i'm off the wine as a lifestyle choice and i'm on a 24 hour troffathon at the moment to keep the nausea at bay.

Evening ladies,
I'm out, sadly. Evidence of a CP ? with a BFP on Friday but then AF Monday. I'm sad, but hopeful as it all indicates that everything is working at least!
