Diege, it is on WW, I think I might put a bit on before tomorrow as I'm out for lunch tomorrow and even the salads are about 10 points. But not too bothered as long as I lose some.

I did text Nat yesterday but no reply. I hope everything is ok with her.

I love my legs and boobs!! Need a new stomach though!!

Wow SES that's good going on shopping front . I always feel like I need to do more shopping after a blow-out like that!
My IO stuff was lovely (their capri pants are sooo comfy), but funmum maternity jeans too short so have exchanged for longer leg (ie. regular) that I will have to spend £12 getting shortened! Think at 5.2 and a half I'm on the border of petite length, but am usually swamped by inside leg over 30inches.
Am having zapper rage as lost ours and can't turn over from ch.4 . If I have to miss out on waterloo rd and apprendtice I won't be happy!
Hope Nat is ok - was also thinking about her this morning strangely enough, wondering if she could make York.
Right, dh back with dd3, night all!

KinderEggKayzr · 08/04/2009 18:00

I've text Glask about York. I'd love it if she could come.

Excellent shop, Ses! Hope you enjoyed it!

Kay - way to go on teh 8lbs, I don't think I told you that!

And Tink, well done for Bracken!

Hopefully teh babies will continue to put on weight and the mummies will continue to lose it!

GRRRRRRR....I've just had another nose bleed - this time in the middle of a meeting with my boss This is kind of annoying!

As for what I like - I like my shoulders but hate my stomach, I'm short waisted and it's never very flat. Right now my boobs are the bain of my existence because they're HUGE

Moosy · 08/04/2009 18:11

Have just had meeting with builder about how much the barn will cost

KinderEggKayzr · 08/04/2009 18:22

ARGHHHHH!!!

There are some boots on Ebay I really really want. I have been winning the bidding since Sunday and no when they have 2 hours left I have been outbid

OP posts:
Moosy · 08/04/2009 18:53

Good going on the shopping Ses, am very !

I wonder about Nat too, I hope she's ok

Sorky I've just twigged that you mean your car, I was thinking chocolate! [dim]

sorkycakey · 08/04/2009 19:14

go on then Moos how much?

Kayz I don't know about you but I get eBay rage if that happens and I usually end up buying at all costs, such is my stupid competitive streak

KinderEggKayzr · 08/04/2009 19:17

I've upped my bid by £10 but I am going no higher. They have until 9.

Evening all,

Am shattered AGAIN after another exhausting day potty training. How am I ever going to manage with 2?? Take my hat off to those of you with 3 or more. However, we managed twice as many wees and I even managed to grab her and put her on the loo for a poo. Hoorah!

Any of you listen to Chris Evans on Radio 2? DH did their cook-along choc cake in a mug and it was amazing!

Kay, think losing 8lbs is amazing - that's a whole good-size baby!! My friend lost a whopping 5 stone on WW.

Tink - good news on Bracken's weight gain. Will you be putting her in a cot soon?

Ses, shopping sounds fab.

LBOT - nosebleeds sound awful - do you know what's causing them?

Moosy - sorry cost of barn was a shock - can you bring them down at all?

off to catch the end of Waterloo Road.

GruffaloSoldier · 08/04/2009 20:45

Evening all

I have just seen midwife. Baby isn't back to back anymore apparently but still only 3/5 pp. They are going to keep an eye as my sister had pelvic disproportion so I may have to have earlier induction than the normal 40+12 if baby doesn't fully engage.

I saw Gyo and the small giraffe today she is so beautiful! Gyo looks well too. I just popped in as she has given me raspberry leaf capsules which I am starting tonight. I have to get this baby out I cannot wait til 40+12!!!

I havent had chance to catch up yet but hope everyone is good. I have had a busy day today so hopefully I will sleep well tonight.

lardybump · 08/04/2009 21:01

23rd sounds good to me but need hotel number and will have both kids with me...... I put on 4 stone with ds and have only lost 1 and 1/2 can i do slim fast while bf????

Moosy · 08/04/2009 21:23

Well done on the WW Kayz, 8lb is a LOT!

For the barn we need to magic about £100,000 out of the air!

KinderEggKayzr · 09/04/2009 06:45

Morning,

Glask is hopefully coming to the meet up!!! She was going to look at train tickets.

DH's Jobseekers hasn't been paid in like it was meant to be so I am a bit annoyed really.

OP posts:
KinderEggKayzr · 09/04/2009 06:53

Ooooooh and I won those boots!!!

OP posts:
Diege · 09/04/2009 08:24

Morning! Congrats on getting the boots KAYZ . Did your last bid do the job?
Great news LB about York. I may also need to stay over night before, and if so will probably need to book asap as the cheaper ones get booked up pretty fast in York from memory! Is it ok if I book, and train tickets too, or should we wait a few weeks before firming up arrangements?
MOOSY at £100, 000 needed! Hope you can sort out some finances. Are you def going ahead or just exploring options?
Well our living room looks very different as we have a new tv after yesterday's panics about the remote control . It was needed anyway as we had been relying on bedroom portable, and girls were very shocked to see it this morning (in a good way). Only a 26in so not massive at all, but compared to our other one it looks like a cinema
Hope everyone is well. Off to playbarn this morning with dds to meet some friends, then must commence spring clean this afternoon...

Starshinetiger · 09/04/2009 09:44

Morning all, just a dashing catch up while DD sleeps on - really rotten night - caught another hour or so this morning and she now sleeps on - me thinks she may have her day and night mixed up, but no chance to fix that today - have to go back into London for a scan as her catheter came out yesterday - they may have to put one back in - boo! Is one of my last few days of just focussing on her, as childminder handed her notice in before we even came home from hospital, so DS will be at home full-time with me in a couple of weeks - then I'll have to try and do what you guys all do and manage with more than one child at home - aaagh!

Moos - and at £100,000 - hope this is something you can arrange.

for those going to York meet-up - too far for me I'm afraid. Am sure you'll all have a blast. Can I suggest Reading for southern one? Sounds like it might be in middle of London, Southwest, Southampton, etc. (does happen to be where I live , but station does seem to be a bit of a hub) - will defo try to make southern meet-up if we organise one and really open to suggestions where.

GYo - hope things are getting easier. Do you also feed mini-GYo lying down? I find this a godsend at night. I know it's not for all, as some don't like to have LO in bed with them, but for me I can relax much more and DD seems to like lying down feeding too. May help you get more relaxing time if not sleeping time. I don't have her in bed all night, but if she wakes up for a feed and I'm absolutely cream-crackered, then I will take her into bed and lie down.

Ses - yay for shopping, bet that felt goooooood!

Diege - hope playbarn is good today.

Cosmo - you sound like a new woman now your sickness has passed, hope DD is settling in well to your family.

Kayz - yay for boots.

Kooky and Kayz - good luck with potty training. Hope it goes smoothly. I think them having an interest in the potty/toilet is half the battle really.

Sorry - can't remember anything else and need to get hair dried before DD wakes up. (see my priorities - mn update before drying hair )

lastboxoftampons · 09/04/2009 09:53

Hi Everyone:

KK - apparently nosebleeds in pregnancy are normal due to the dilation of veins and increased amounts of blood circulating, blah, blah, blah. I think I was just embarrassed more than anything that it happened in front of my boss!

Kay - glad you won the boots - I think the strategy is to wait until the last minute to bid. And Sorky I find the competitive streak hard to resist as well, I think that's probably why ebay does so well. I'm actually currently waiting for chairs that we won on ebay to be delivered. Stupid seller sent me a message yesterday saying she/he had to overnight them because of the bank holiday and that they'd be with me today, but no info about how they were sent, when can I expect them, tracking number etc. I'm so annoyed because I'm having to stay home from work and I still haven't been in touch with my boss. Not really sure what to say, but waiting for Ebay delivery doesn't sound especially legit...

Moos about the barn. Were you prepared for something in the region of that? Even if you were 100K in one go is a lot of money! Maybe you can get Kevin McCloud out to help! I always wonder if there's any sort of financial incentive for being on the show...

tinkhaseatentoomanyeastereggs · 09/04/2009 10:16

hi

kay - ye for boots

kk - really want to put her in cot she will be sharing with dd1. moses is definetly getting too small length and width wise.
was thinking of trying her tonite in cot after 10:30pm feed. she only wakes @4-5am for a feed

any other suggestions welcome

moosy for barn hope u get something sorted

SesIsCountingdowntheweeks · 09/04/2009 10:44

Morning!

Just a quick one as off into town. (Not as exciting as yesterday's shopping - just Tesco and a few small bits)

LBOT - I've had what can only be described as blood filled snot most of this pregnancy but luckily not had full blown nose bleed.

I've never ebayed and I'm starting to think that's a good thing! Sounds like although you can pick up a bargain, it can also be a load of hassle!

Right, off into town. Will catch up again later

Diege · 09/04/2009 13:49

Hello! Back from the playbarn and child free as another mum asked if they could come and play with her LO. So a bit of peace until 4pm
TINKS, cot sounds like the way to go. I put the dds moses basket in cot for a few days to get them used to it, although they were about 6 months or so so sat up and had look round. Sure B will be fine going straight in.
SES you're right about e-bay faff..have just had my account restored as someone else had been using it to sell mobile phones ; cannot for the life of me think how they managed to 'hack in' (all my info' inc. password etc is in welsh - unless they speak welsh of course )but e-bay were pretty good and spotted the 'activity' straight away. Must get some stuff on there soon!
LBOX, lol at telling boss about e-bay . That's a real pain though - hope they deliver today!
STAR, hope everything goes ok re: catheter. Are you going to be looking for another childminder?
Right, must try and motivate self to get work done now that I have some peace...or on the other hand could get my box of chocs from upstairs and just chill...

lastboxoftampons · 09/04/2009 14:12

okay, at work finally. The seller finally got me in touch with the shipping company and they called to tell me that they won't be able to get it to me until tomorrow morning. Tomorrow is perfect as we're home all day and have the table that we won from another seller arriving - but would've been a lot more helpful to have known that this morning...

Diege & Ses, I'm just getting in to ebay really. We needed a table and chairs and didn't want to pay a lot - ended up paying about £320 for a solid wood extending dining table and six leather chairs, including delivery, so I thought that was a decent deal. Much less than what we would've paid in the shops. But now I find myself going - lamps! we need lamps! - [bgin] and countless other things...

SES - LOL about the blood filled snot! I think it just turned into a full one in the shower (yesterday's wasnt' as bad) because my face was already wet, so I didn't notice my nose was bleeding until it was everywhere!

Diege - Yay for off-loading DDs! [brgin] I mean that in the nicest possible way of course!

Diege · 09/04/2009 15:12

Hi LBOT! Bit of a pain about late notice with e-bay sellers. Hopefully all will be well tomorrow! Know exactly what you mean about 'needing' more when you get new things. I have been quite obsessed about bathroom and kitchen things since getting new ones. Presume you are off now until Tues?
Can't believe how quickly the time has gone this afternoon...must make the most of last 40 mins peace before collecting dds!

tinkhaseatentoomanyeastereggs · 09/04/2009 15:20

hi

cheers diege going to try tonite from 8pm in moses in cot.

what a pain lbot

idreamofbeanie · 09/04/2009 16:34

Hi,

just popping on quickly to say that all went well at my 16 week appointment (no HIV, syphilis or hepatitis - hooray ) and as long as my blood pressure stays low and nothing else goes wrong she is happy to arrange for me to have a home birth . I am measuring spot on for dates and I heard the heartbeat which was fantastic!

Right, car is packed so I'm off to Cornwall (well Cambridge tonight and Cornwall tomorrow). Have a great easter weekend.
