Quick Q- can anyone recommend some boyfriend style jeans that I can buy online in reliable sizes? Ie dont come up huge or tiny? Im sure someone here with shopping addiction can recommend somthing!

Im usually a size 10/12 but non of my pre preg jeans fit and i cant keep wearing my maternity jeans as they look odd.

back in a bit...

sorkycakey · 08/04/2009 11:34

next GYo I got them in a size 8 as my 6's are still a bit tight. they run big generally for me, I find, so maybe order your normal size, if you're not quite there iyswim

Diege · 08/04/2009 11:35

SORKY, can you imagine the state of us (mental state that is) by the time we got there if we brought all 8 along
GRUFF! Good to hear from you! I'm a bit 'out of the loop' re: non-maternity jeans, but have always found fat face a good place to get boyfriend styles from - looks and fit-wise. They have website too, and I'm sure you can get a discount if you go through MN discount pages

Diege · 08/04/2009 11:37

Oh SORKY what do you mean your 6's are running a bit tight ; you mean you are nearly back in sz 6 jeans???

Diege · 08/04/2009 11:37

IO parcel just arrived, so we can go out

KinderEggKayzr · 08/04/2009 11:40

I'll probably come to a southern meet up too!!!

DS1's lump is nothing to worry about. It should just disappear over time.

We're having toad in the hold for dinner tonight so I am having salad for lunch to balance it out.

sorkycakey · 08/04/2009 11:44

Diege i find running around after 4 rather good for losing weight. Plus, Next sizes run big don't they.

Diege · 08/04/2009 11:48

SORKY
Great news KAYZ!
Right, no excuse not to go out now...

KinderEggKayzr · 08/04/2009 12:01

I don't think I've been a size 6 since I was about 10!!!!! But then again I am quite tall and when I was a size 8 I looked far too thin.

Just weighed myself and I have lost 8lbs since last Thursday so really looking forward to weigh in tomorrow!!!

SesIsCountingdowntheweeks · 08/04/2009 12:13

Kay that's bloody fantastic news! Well done

It's not always good being smaller, though I wouldn't necessarily change it. I love that bfeeding gives me boobs that I don't normally have and I would love a bit more of a rounded bum too.
Dresses never look that good on me .

What's your favourite bit of yourself everyone and which bit would you swap?

Mine is love my legs and swap my hip-to-waist ratio (make it bigger)

Do I win the shopping prize for the day??!!

Mum suggested that I carry my mobile phone with me everywhere I go (such as upstairs in the house) from now on. I said it would be unusual for labour to kick in as dramatically as all that. She said, "but what if your waters go?" I said, "I'll just have to deal with it!". She said, "You'll need to go in and then you could be there for days until you give birth". I said it would probably be best to get it checked out but if I wasn't having contractions and the waters were clear, there was no point in staying in hospital. "ooh, no! That can't be right!"she said!!!

I know things were different "in her day" but it's the way she's so disapproving about everything that's changed that's winding me up!

sorkycakey · 08/04/2009 16:54

Has anyone heard from Nat? Was thinking 'bout her today.

Nat if you're lurking, let us know how you are if you get the chance

sorkycakey · 08/04/2009 16:56

Ses that is one serious shop Do you feel better for it?

Work meet-up went well. Came home with gifts and gossip

SesIsCountingdowntheweeks · 08/04/2009 16:59

It was great Sorky

DH phoned whilst I was there and I admitted to him everything I was getting and how much I was spending as I'd only told him I was getting the pushchair and car seat. He said "That's not too bad!!"
Think I'll go shopping more often then!

It's all sitting in the back of my car waiting to be unpacked now!

Glad your work meet up went well. Gifts and gossip sounds like a good combo!

I was wondering about Nat as well. NJ - if you're lurking, let us know how you are?
