Diege · 16/04/2009 09:34

Hi TINKS! I pay off my balance through 'my account' on Next's webpage; don't have to wait for statement then as it's all there for you to check etc.

Diege · 16/04/2009 09:36

Hmm, green is rather nice

SesIsCountingdowntheweeks · 16/04/2009 09:54

Morning!

Think I'll put yesterday down to bladder teasing as nothing else happening here...

LOL at Diege being near the top of the list! You are .... but that means.... I'm at the top!!!????
Surely not?
I did have a moment at NCT last night when I sat there looking round the room thinking I was a fraud and must be imagining the whole thing...

I suppose it is time to start my syndicate but it does still seem quite early....
Maybe that means that mini Ses wil come early??

Mum took a photo of me yesterday to go in the baby book she bought me. I hate the photo but have posted it on my profile in case it helps anyone with boy/girl decision.

Right, let's start then with:

Ooh! You're all x-posting!

I've got to rush as have to get blood test done at the hospital this morning in prep for my appointment next Tues. Then having lunch with a friend.

Diege - I probably will be glad to have the pic but I hate having my photo taken at the best of times and didn't have any make up on or get chance to brush my hair or anything!

lardybump · 16/04/2009 10:35

London got cancelled by my friend as she is ill so we are all dressed with nowhere to go... DD is now crying because we are not going on a train and to make matters worse it is raining hard so can not take them out!!!! argh.....

Well DS fed at 8 last night and went to sleep at 9 after an hour of crying as he had trapped wind... We then watched a film and went to bed. DS didn't wake up until 2 that is 5 hours although I only got usual two as I didn't go to bed until 11!!! dame the tv...... But he fed for half an hour then and went back to sleep until 4 where he fed for 5 mins and went back to sleep until 6!!! So all in all I got more sleep last night. I just wish I could make him feed later than 8 and I could get a cool 5 hours sleep but 8 is a little early to go to bed......

lardybump · 16/04/2009 10:38

I am letting ds run the show at the moment as i did with dd, she had found her routine by now and it was great she fed every four hours and went through the night... So I guess i am asking when I should start getting tough with DS? And where do I start as DD did it all by herself (she is still a very clever girl)

glaskham · 16/04/2009 10:39

SES'S SYNDICATE - EDD 10th MAY

Glaskham - 6th May, 5.16am, 6lb 14oz, girl
Diege - 8th May, 7.16am, 71b 11oz, boy
Ses - 16th May, 10.05am, 7lb 12oz, girl
Kayz - 12th May, 6am, 7lb 4oz, boy

Morning all... nearly bought a car last night on ebay... then the laptop went all funny when we put our bid in at last min!! was gutted!! we want a scenic again... the car we have fits us in, but we want a bit more space in the back for the DC's and a full seatbelt for DS in the middle instead of just a lapbelt. Have another 2 we're watching that end within the next week, hopefully we'll win one of them and have a new car this time next week- and then can sell our heap of junk!!

Ruby downed another 3oz bottle last night but the first of her special 'catch-up' formula... she was supposed to have her appointment with her consultant on friday, but with having chicken pox its been put back 2 weeks...

What is the plan for the meet-up then? DH is hoping to drop me off in the morning... BTW does anyone have any tips on what he could do with the older DC's for the day in york area? What time do we plan to meet? and where? Betty's? I've never been but its gonna be very strange as I always planned to go with my friend who i was gonna be a surrogate for... does anyone know roughly how much it'd cost me for lunch and a few drinks?... just i'm trying to work out if i can afford my 'planned' trip to alton towers with my family too...

Kayzr · 16/04/2009 10:44

There is the railway museum Glask, or a bit further afield near me is Flamingo Land. But it's a bit expensive Flamingo Land But there are the rides and the zoo.

Diege, are you going to Whitby this year?

glaskham · 16/04/2009 10:48

As for routines and feeding patterns... mine is so all over the place i dont know what it is anymore.... I'll be up a few times in the night with Ruby, no pattern at all... some nights it may just be once i'm up, others up to 5/6 times...

The other 2 DC's wake at about 7ish when DH leaves for work, then i get up and dressed and bring them downstairs... normally get them breakfast then feed Ruby if she wants anything... then get her changed, then get the other 2 changed... nursery run if term time... housework/mumsnetting till nursery collection & lunch... then nap-time for all 3 DC's, i'll normally sit and rest then, sometimes nod off just before DC's wake up (typical) then some playtime for DC's while i sort tea before DH comes home... then he gets them bathed and dressed for bed... and Ruby fits her feeds in whenever she wants them... she was on a bottle just after the DC's went to bed and i'm trying to slot one in at 10-11ish now she's on an extra bottle.

so i kinda have a routine but its very very relaxed!! I dont do strict to the time routines... too hectic with 3 DC's for me to even consider it!!

glaskham · 16/04/2009 10:53

They'd prob love the railway museum!! DS loves museums, we take them to the one in manchester one once or twice a year as he just loves it!! They'd also love the flamingo land but we're planning that as a summer trip as DD1 is too small for lots of rides that DS is big enough for... so he'd miss out if no-one was there to stay with DD1...

Will google things to do in york, might be some help.... i went to york dungeons with DH years ago but pooed myself so much we left 5mins after we went in!! so i dont think it's very good for the DC's!!

Kayzr · 16/04/2009 11:01

I am so close to losing it with DS1 today. He keeps throwing things at DS2, screaming at him, holding cushions over his head when we're not looking. Arghhhh!!!

Diege · 16/04/2009 11:02

GLASK, I don't know York that well, but it does seem a good city to visit with LOs. There always seems to be little rides/bouncy castles etc in the centre, and there's always the railway museum (better than it sounds) and other touristy-type things..might be worth contacting York tourist info? Don't think we've set a time as yet - also haven't been in Betty's for years (and then only the Harrogate one) so don't really have any idea of the menu etc..Presume more of a sandwich-type menu that hot meals, though could be wrong..
LB, boo to London day out being cancelled Could you still catch a train somewhere, or is the rain as bad as it is here? Forecast was great too
KAYZ, yes going to Whitby again this year . Maybe we could meet up one afternoon? No. 4 will be about 8 weeks by then so you could get to meet him and the dds! I'm saying 'him'; it did cross my mind it might be 'she' after GRuff's case, although sonographer did say 110% sure )

Kayzr · 16/04/2009 11:04

YAY!!! I was hoping you would be coming again. We will have to meet up so I can meet your DCs!!!

Diege · 16/04/2009 11:05

Sounds good Kayz! We're there first two weeks in August . Can't wait - I love the place!

Kayzr · 16/04/2009 11:07

Good as I won't be back at work then. I think its the last week in August I'm back. No that I'm going back you see. I'm winning EuroMillions tomorrow night. Then I'll pay for all wagoners to come to York by limo!!

glaskham · 16/04/2009 11:09

Diege- i was sure they'd got the sex wrong for me after they had with mu sister!!... but they were spot on with my princess...

Thanks for the hints/tips on things DH could do with DC's... Have just googled things to do, think he might take them on a guided boat tour, then to the museum... and dont worry about it sounding boring Diege- we're big fans of museums... the one in manchester is fab, and then we went to the liverpool museum last summer which was really good... we're hoping to get to the Armoury museum near/in doncaster with some friends soon too.

Kayzr · 16/04/2009 11:12

Glask, the Thackray medicine museum in Leeds is fab!!! So is the Leeds Armouries

glaskham · 16/04/2009 11:16

I could pick Nat up in my limo on the way Kayz- i mean she's not too far from me in all reality...

Kayzr · 16/04/2009 11:16

True, probably Diege too as she is that kind of area too.

glaskham · 16/04/2009 11:24

so we can save you a bit of you're millions kayz!!
