Juwesm · 02/03/2009 17:32

A well known shop?

Mark and Spencer?
Hennes and Mauritz (bit fancy).
Abercrombie and Fitch (really strange)

kazkiss · 02/03/2009 17:32

Ha Ju,

I have no idea what you mean , I am positive pillar of decoram.

BabyBolat · 02/03/2009 17:32

Kazz -

Walter & Rose?
Cost Cutter ?

kazkiss · 02/03/2009 17:34

Ah I knew that would get you guessing....

I dont know what you mean by hennes and mauritz being to fancy are you saying I am not posh enough for such names. Must discuss those sugesstions with hubby.

kazkiss · 02/03/2009 17:35

ahhh well as you were all so close I thought I would announce...... Aldi and Netto....

Juwesm · 02/03/2009 17:36

H&M names fancy as opposed to shop.
Abercrombie and Fitch is really quite Medway though!

Pri Mark?

DIckens and Jones?

Laura and Ashley!! (forgot one of each!)

Juwesm · 02/03/2009 17:40

DH is home and, would you believe, the cheek of him, wants to use the computer!! This is what happens when you turn the office into a nursery and pack away the other PC.

BabyBolat · 02/03/2009 17:41

Juw - your DH needs to learn his place now you have found mumsnet! that sort of behaviour is just not acceptable!!!!

Ashley can be a boys name too can't it?

Juwesm · 02/03/2009 17:42

Definitely. I think we have it!

BabyBolat · 02/03/2009 17:43

I think so too!!

Juwesm · 02/03/2009 17:43

Am safe for now. He's gone upstairs, possibly to find his cervix.

bronze · 02/03/2009 17:45

New thread

I go out for a day and look what happens

Think everyones going to pop early apart from me but that might also be becaus eI have had serious words with this one and its not allowed out until after the easter holidays.

Perineum massage I did the first two times and havent torn despite big babies. I prefer to think its that and that I'm stretchy rather than just a bucket.

Springy, did they test you for an infection. If they didn't nag your mw cos its sounds so like you have one. Especially with worse contractions with weeing

LuLuBai · 02/03/2009 17:45

Crabtree & Evelyn

John Lewis (John & Louise)

Florence & Fred

Rigby & Peller

Army & Navy

Holland & Barrett

B & Q

Juwesm · 02/03/2009 17:47

Ooh, I like Rigby and Peller. I can't afford to send them to the private school they so clearly belong in though.

kazkiss · 02/03/2009 17:47

need to go eat food and attempt to be sociable brb ......

bronze · 02/03/2009 17:47

Fortnum and Mason?
Harvey Nicols? COuld work just

Juwesm · 02/03/2009 17:48

Is it wrong to have bowl of crunchy nut cornflakes as a pre-dinner snack?

LuLuBai · 02/03/2009 17:48

Yeah - plenty of boys called Ashley. Used to fancy one years ago. Laura & Ashley sounds feasible.

So Bronze what's your tried and tested perineal massage technique then?

BabyBolat · 02/03/2009 17:56

Juw - tis fine and OMG I really want some now... Just had some toast and not nearly satisfied! DH doesn't know what time he will be home so may end up stuffing my face and then not able to eat dinner or sat here starving until he comes home....

Juwesm · 02/03/2009 17:59

I had but a small bowl, to ease myself in.

LuLuBai · 02/03/2009 17:59

Found this on perineum massage

BB I am ravenous too. DH is theoretically supposed to be home by 8 so I figured I would wait for him to get home before eating. Got myself an apple to gnaw on so that I wouldn't pick at DDs food. She's swiped the apple and is leaving me eyeing up her Spanish omelette and brocolli. Must resist!

Juwesm · 02/03/2009 18:04

Have seen some sample birth plans on t'Internet where the woman has said 'I would prefer to tear than to have an episiotomy'. Can anyone explain why this would be? In my head, nice neat surgical cut preferable to nasty jagged tear. Obviously, no-one here will have any tears or epis as we will all be expert perineal masseuses (????sp).

Juwesm · 02/03/2009 18:08

Well, good article LuLu, but there is no way I am getting both thumbs in there simultaneously! Around the bump? Impossible.
