WOw - haven't checked this for a week - all very exciting. We let everyone know over the weekend - really looking forward to DD having a sibling. Only 15mths but very keen to look into prams with babies in them and say "shhh baby" with her finger on her mouth. Bodes well I think or am I just wishfully thinking?

Definitly not having twins - all confirmed in a scan last week. Phew - love the idea but don't have nearly enough energy! Hope queasy people are feeling ok.

LadyGooGoo · 12/03/2009 06:58

Good morning ladies!
I would like to add myself to your group because last night after a paranoid dash to the chemists, found out I AM PREGNANT! Dh not as enthused sadly since it will make 3 under 4 but hoping will rally himself after last nights surprise

Honnob57 Is the early ms means twins really true??
If hadn't known I was pregnant from the test, lying at the foot of the stairs at 2am slowly eating a handful of dry cheerios to combat nausea, might have given me a hint!
Must NOT tell dh about even the possibility - 4 under 4 would probably kill him

yumsta · 12/03/2009 07:07

Hello all
Congrats to all on this thread! Here's wishing us all a safe, healthy, full-term pregnancy with a beautiful, healthy, complete & perfect baby at the end!!!
I'm on No.4 (only 6weeks in), already have DS x 3 (age7,5,3) & very happy & excited to be 'in the club' again!?!?!?!
Have been on the other November preggers thread, wondering if i should post here also?
Q: been on antidepressants (citalopram 20mg) since Dec08, but came off immediately last week when got that 2nd stripe on test
Am now in need of an alternative...
i know rescue remedy & vitamin B complex does the job, but what while pregnant???
PLEASE HELP...
PS Am also undergoing Analysis which I highly recommend to any & all who has ever been 'down & out in Beverley Hills'
Thanks xxx

Cies · 12/03/2009 08:03

Hi all! Wow there are a lot of us .

Hope all of you with ms are mananging to function ok despite it. So far the only symptoms I've got are bigger boobs and tiredness.

Feeling much more positive today because I've had two full days without spotting. So fingers crossed.

Catitainahatita I know what you mean about Spanish doctors. Although, to be fair, this one is the only "I am the king, you know nothing" doctor that I've come across so far. Hopefully I never will again after my next appointment with him.

I'm amending the list to show that this will be my first baby (but third pg). Here's hoping that it's third time lucky.

Good morning ladies, well I hope it is for you all and you're not feeling too sick.

I was woken up by ds for his feed at 4.30am and realised I felt sick, hooray!! Something is really happening afterall Now feel mildly nausious and also very dizzy. I always have low BP which just gets worse in pg so presuming that's what it's all about.

Congrats to you Ladygoogoo I'm sure your OH will get used to it soon enough lol! Mine was the same, I think he is in denial at the moment I'm going to have 3 under 3 and not quite sure how I am going to manage that we shall see.

weston that's always the way Our only night out since our last baby and I find myself here again, knew I shouldn't have had that 2nd pint After this one I am staying in forever!

Just adding baby number to list...

Morning all, feeling rubbish this morning, was up about 5 times in the night with ds2 and then once with ds1 so am totally shattered, also have a strange feeling in my tummy??

yumsta I too was on citalopram on finding out I'm pregnant, I saw my doctor straight away and because I was staring to reduce my dose she has reduced me again to 20mg for a week and then 10 mg for another week and then I'll stop. My doctor has said she will monitor me and if we feel I still need antidepressant I will be refered to a specialist, could this be an option for you?

just adding on baby number!

Koumak · 12/03/2009 09:59

Morning all,
I am loving the list! Until we find out we are all aiming for the same hospital...

EasyEggs · 12/03/2009 10:12

Lol that's a good point Koumak hahaha!!

So where abouts in the country roughly are we all? Just wondered if any of us are close to each other.

I'm in Kent

Koumak · 12/03/2009 10:42

oh good at least two of us in different areas... I am north London

weston · 12/03/2009 11:05

hopefully there isn't a full moon in early November...was chaos last time I was in...nooo epidurals in sight..

I am up in the midlands so we should be ok...

scarlotti · 12/03/2009 11:16

Morning all

I'm just outside Brighton.

Have just had to get myself booked in for a scan as have spotting today. Hopefully it's nothing major as it's not red but naturally I fear the worst. Scan is Monday at 8:15 so will have to think about what I can do this weekend to keep my mind occupied.

Funnily enough, the morning sickness is almost non-existant today too.

cupcakefairy · 12/03/2009 11:36

Morning
Scarlotti my spotting and cramping got worse too and got myself into such a panic last night. Been to doctor this morning and she's booked me into the EPU tomorrow morning at 9 for a scan. I was in tears on the way into work after, really scared cos I thought she'd just say it's normal but she got straight on the phone to the EPU.

Hope it turns out ok for both of us! I'm waiting to hear if DH can get off work to come with me...

I'm in Cardiff by the way so seems we are all nicely spread out so far!

scarlotti · 12/03/2009 11:42

cupcakefairy fingers crossed for your scan tomorrow. Will be thinking of you.
I was born in Cardiff!!

EasyEggs · 12/03/2009 11:48

Cupcake & scarlotti - have my fingers crossed for you both, Scarlotti - could you not ring back and cry down the phone at them to get a scan before Mon?? It is awful leaving you wondering all weekend

amyboo · 12/03/2009 11:58

Thought I'd head over to the new thread.... I seem to not be suffering any actual sickness, more likely constant queasiness. The only thing that seems to make it go away is eating, which is not good. I'm trying not to snack, but it's proving very tricky Don't want to end up gaining a ton of weight...

I'm in Brussels by the way, so I doubt any of you will be in the same hospital as me at least! I'm being good and reading all the baby books in French so I know the vocab, but it's a lot easier to whinge about symptoms in English!

cupcake and scarlotti-fingers crossed for you both.

I've got a bit of a dilemma about telling family. We booked our wedding for August 1st and 2 weeks later got a BFP! Now in an ideal world I would wait till after the 12 week scan before telling anyone-but this would take us up to just over three months before the wedding.

My family live the opposite end of the country (I'm in SE London) and obviously need to make travel arrangements etc. This means if all goes well I'll be about 26 weeks at the time of the wedding and I guess I'll be quite obviously pregnant by then.

I'd like to move the wedding forward, for fear of being the size of a house in a wedding dress, but that'd mean telling everyone now. I also can't take holidays before the summer because I'm a teacher so if we move it forward I'd get married on the Sat and have to be at work on the Monday.

I'm scared I'll jinx things if I start changing arrangements.

cupcakefairy · 12/03/2009 12:17

Thanks, will let you know how it turns out.

Amyboo - my little sister was born in Paris.. the nurses at the hospital wouldn't let any kids onto the wards to visit after cos apparently we carried so many germs! My Dad snuck us in anyway and we all had to hide in the toilet when a MW came in! We still laugh about it now. Do you know if it's the same in Brussels?

amyboo · 12/03/2009 12:50

cupcakefairy - I've no idea about kids on wards here. In the 7 years I've lived here I've thankfully only ever visited a hospital for the odd blood test and xray. This will be #1 for me though, so only the dh and friends (non of whom have babies yet) to come and visit.

kyte - think i might try the mint thing. I can't carry on with this kind of hunger/nausea - it's insane! If I ate what my body seems to be telling me to eat, I'd be eating about 5 full dinners a day!
