GYO also meant to say that my scan appt is 23 March.

kayzr · 05/02/2009 13:44

LBOT If you are worried you can make an early MW appointment. I did when I just had this wierd feeling that something was wrong.

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 05/02/2009 14:17

there is a shop in guildford called Trotters that do those tshirts but the website doesnt work yet unfortunately.

Astarte · 05/02/2009 14:31

ahem...

LBOT I'd ring for an appt.

M/w is coming tomorrow to "see how I'm doing" (officially), the hospital policy is to offer sweeps once past EDD.
I'm very relieved she's coming to 'see me'

Does anyone have any experience of how soon after the mw has "seen how I'm doing" I might go into labour?
With Ds2 it was 2 days after iirc.

Just for the record 'South' to Northerners is generally below Leeds. Although there is the limbo state of Yorkshire which is neither North/South.

Diege! I'm shocked you think I'm limp-wristed and foppish. Born/bred/broad of accent I'll have you know

Careful on the school-run Nat. I think I'd have had a little sniff too.

Kayz 12 minutes to find the next train should be plenty of time providing they're running on time.

LB add to your list anti-bac wipes if you're going into hospital.

Tink try not to worry, she's being ff so is bound to put the weight on soon. I know it's easier said than done though.

ohsnap · 05/02/2009 14:37

'limp-wristed and foppish' is that what we are?!?!

Brizzle is the cut-off line for North/South dontchaknow. Birmingham is reachable but anything above there is cold and grim

Astarte · 05/02/2009 14:44

yes OS exactly !

ohsnap · 05/02/2009 14:45

I'm about as foppish as you own a whippet.

Astarte · 05/02/2009 15:06

hehehe! I've had greyhounds in the past you fop!

OS that site is fab btw. We have a scraggy blankie that is falling to bits but still much cherished by dd1 and it might be an option for a teddy.

Whether the poor woman would want to receive it in the post, never mind actually handle it is another matter though.

Astarte · 05/02/2009 15:11

I am joking OS, you know that doncha?!?

If someone were to live down by Bristol would they speak farmer-eze, like Bill Bailey does? I love that accent!

ohsnap · 05/02/2009 15:13

Damn you, you wiley dog racer .

Stick a pair of Marigolds in with it and I'm sure she'd manage just fine!

ohsnap · 05/02/2009 15:14

Bill Bailey doesn't have an accent!

Do you sound like Jimmy Nail?

Astarte · 05/02/2009 15:15

aye, totally!

Astarte · 05/02/2009 15:17

I have a thing for Bill Bailey. I think he's my shame crush.

I also have Jimmy Nail's nose, but not his ears or shoes.

ohsnap · 05/02/2009 15:29

I used to work with someone from Middlesbrough and I loved the way he said A2 paper, it was made almost entirely of vowels

ohsnap · 05/02/2009 15:30

Bill Bailey does have a certain something doesn't he? Not sure I'd actually want to, but I think I could stare at him all day!

kayzr · 05/02/2009 15:43

And I thought Diege was bad with her Simon Cowell thing but Bill Bailey

OP posts:
ohsnap · 05/02/2009 15:50

Wouldn't you?

lastboxoftampons · 05/02/2009 15:54

I thought that's who Bill Bailey was!!! Oh, no, sorry not me! Although I have been known to go for some weird ones in my day...

Astarte · 05/02/2009 15:56

Ah, but he seems incredibly erudite.

I do love a clever man, even one part troll

Astarte · 05/02/2009 15:56

isn't SC gay?

Astarte · 05/02/2009 15:59

C'mon then, who's your secret shame crush?

Diege · 05/02/2009 16:02

You leave my Simon alone!!!!!
Oh and doesn't Nat have a farmer-eze accent??

kayzr · 05/02/2009 16:03

I don't know really.

I thought it was Barack Obama but apparently everyone has a brush on him.

Probably Gary Linekar.

Astarte · 05/02/2009 16:04
