Here we go. A new thread, hopefully we'll welcome Astarte's baby!!

It is a great area for camping and we were thinking of doing it so we could send the stuff to people nationwide by courier. DH would clean the sleeping bags as he always cleans ours. My mum has a spare storeroom at their offices that we can keep things in.

We would market it in the camping and outdoor pursuit magazines and build a decent website. The business loan is a very good idea.

Sounds like you've thought it through KAYZ - plus you might well get increased business with ther economic climate as people may choose to holiday here rather than abroad.

LBOX, think you have described perfectly how first baby movements feel! Congratulations!! Don't worry too if it comes and goes over the next few weeks, very common.

kayzr · 11/02/2009 16:45

LBOT, Yes I think that is 'it'!!!!!! YAYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!

lardybump · 11/02/2009 17:01

LBOT that is your baby girly...... As diege says it is still early and you wont feel it every day but dont panic if you dont as it is normal....

lardybump · 11/02/2009 17:03

I am having lots of tighnings but have not felt the baby moving or kicking at all today should I be worried????

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 11/02/2009 17:26

LB- think movements are supposed to reduce close to birth... so maybe things are finally on their way!

Hurray for soon to be wagon babies ... Will need ring side seats for the labour threads for LB and Ast..

LB have you got anyone's number to text the news? Happy to give you mine if not...

Very amused about the pant snot descriptions.. will remember that when my time comes

LBOT- that sounds like first movements to me, exactly like I felt mine - echoeing everyone else, might not be regular at first... but congratulations.

Kayz- will go and look at your other thread... very exciting to win £30! I've only ever won a tenner on the lottery....

lardybump · 11/02/2009 17:28

Oh no I havent got anyones number.... Will you email me yours GYO and I can let you know if anything happens.... I am actually feeling excited but know that I have had 2 false starts already so may not be it...

lastboxoftampons · 11/02/2009 17:29

Kay - I'm with Diege, does sound like you've thought it through. And if it doesn't work out, the stuff you've bought probably has a decent resale value on ebay. good luck!

YAY! It's Nugget then! thanks guys!!!

LB - not sure if you should call your mw if you don't feel movement for a certain amount of times throughout the day. I know I've read that, but have no idea if it all changes when you get as close as you are to your due date. Good luck! All sounds very promising!

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 11/02/2009 17:31

OK- will send you a facebook message LB

How exciting

ohsnap · 11/02/2009 17:33

Woohoo you lot, LBOT with your movements, LB with your impending labour and Astarte, well where is she? Not sitting under a tree somewhere I hope!

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 11/02/2009 17:39

LBOT, meant to say there seems to be some weird rule about baby movements early on. When you can feel them on the outside, they will ALWAYS stop the second you call DH over to have a feel! ...

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 11/02/2009 17:42

Hi Ohsnap, how are you?

lardybump · 11/02/2009 17:47

right off for a bit now but will be back later...

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 11/02/2009 17:48

see you soon LB!

SesHopesSpringwillbeheresoon · 11/02/2009 19:06

Ooh! Sounds like things are getting more exciting for you both Astarte and LB

Kay - congrats on your win!!! Will go and have a look at your other thread soon.

LBOT - Yay for movements - and v v well described!!

My day's been ok but I'm starting to find all the driving I do is getting uncomfortable. I normally drive on average for about 3 hrs a day (unless I'm working from home) and my bump whilst I'm in the car is starting to feel a bit tight low down and my back is still aching now. I may have to talk to my boss about trying to reduce my driving.

I'll see how it goes as I'm off next week anyway (yay!)

I've booked myself in a manicure and pedicure for Monday and a hair cut for Friday

Sorry - lots to catch up on the thread again today so I'm sorry if I've missed anything.

tinkisluvingbeingamummyagain · 11/02/2009 19:22

Sparklytwinkletoes · 11/02/2009 19:59

Hi everyone, still quietly lurking, keeping my fingers crossed for LB and Astarte...

LBOT, sounds like movements to me too! Congratulations, it was the one thing that made all the vomiting worth while to me! That and the alien-esque movements while I was in the bath a bit later on!!

Feeling quite good at the moment, I've been very good with all my tablets which I think helps. Also boss is being quite supportive at the moment so that takes some strain off - she doesn't know yet either so hopefully that bodes well.

Ses, I don't know how you're managing all that driving! I used to have to do a lot but my boss changed all my duties and I got to work from home loads, especially towards the end. Think my boss (was a stuffy old bloke back then) was too worried about me going into labour!!!

SesHopesSpringwillbeheresoon · 11/02/2009 20:08

Hello Sparkly

Glad you're feeling good. Have you got your booking-in appointment sorted yet?

As for the driving, I think if it continues after my week off, I will try and work from home a bit more.

Also, found out today that I need to go all the way to Telford on a conference on 1st and 2nd April when I'll be nearly 35 weeks and my last day at work is 3rd April!! Will probably try and find someone else to cadge a lift from!

Tink - if you changed your nickname, we'd still know it was you by the shopping!!

lardybump · 11/02/2009 20:31

Right I am off for the evening. Getting bad back pains and lots of pressure on my bladder..... Will of cause let you know if anything develops....

Good luck Astarte I will check before I go to bed to see how you are doing....

ohsnap · 11/02/2009 21:14

Ooooooooh LB that does sound promising, stay upright and let gravity do its business!

I'll keep my phone on all night and wait for the news [excited]

kookykid · 11/02/2009 21:22

Bum! I fell off the thread again! I don't post much (at all?) Mon to Weds as work is so draining. Thank God it's half term! A whole 11 days off - woohoo!

Sounds very exciting LB - which one of you is going to be first?? Good luck!

Hi everyone else .
Hopefully can post a a bit while away at the in-laws over the next few days.

tinkislittlemissshopping · 11/02/2009 21:33

ses - lol

nite nite xx

Sparklytwinkletoes · 11/02/2009 22:32

Evening all - Thinking of you LB (and Astarte)!

Ses, my booking in appt is now booked for 26th, if I make it of course - don't want to be too presumptious about it.

Unlike either of the last times, this time I have to go to the surgery and pick up some wee pots (pots to wee in not small ones!) and fill in some forms apparently...anyone else had this?

SesHopesSpringwillbeheresoon · 12/02/2009 06:52

Morning! DH's alarm went off nearly an hour ago and he's only just got up. I've been wide awake ever since!

I have a meeting in Eastbourne all day and then out for pizza with a couple of friends from work in Brighton tonight.

Astarte & LB - hoping things continue to progress for you both.
Could someone text me and let me know if either go into labour?!

lardybump · 12/02/2009 07:32

Morning all.... Just popping on to say I am still pregnant.... Pains have calmed down and baby has been battering me this morning... I dont think i am quiet as near as i thought... Never mind S&S in 7 days......

Astarte where are you????
