lovely, more new babies. do hope all with inductions are feeling ok, it must be really exciting but scary to know exactly when you will be meeting your baby.

still not engaged, still can't breathe. almost completely run out of space for eating, but food only joy left so am doing my utmost to stuff some in.

fingers crossed for your mil mamanflo - hope you can enjoy the visit even if no baby yet.

according to the heartbeat rate/gender thread, i'm having a boy. anyone else got predictions for theirs?

I had acupuncture earlier today and I have strange pains since then. It should really work from tomrrow and at least it will "open" the cervix a bit (which is good if ever I ask for an early induction) . I will have thai curry tonight as well....putting all chances on my side !!!

Starshaker - good luck for Friday. Been reading your CS thread - agree with all the advice, definitely taking arnica has helped me loads more with this section. Also few drops of tea tree oil in your bath when you come home helps the healing too. That moment when they lift out your baby is just fantastic - good luck and am looking forward to hearing all about it!!!

well had a show this morning so hoping that things might happen on there own had some pain but nothing im really worried about. go into hosp tonight anyway so will have bumps tomorrow cant wait not good luck to every1 else who is getting there

goodluck Starshaker .Still nothing happening with me i am getting really fed up now.I am soooo tired today my dad has took ds out so i could go for a sleep but have been lying in bed for the last hour and cannot get to sleep

I've been booked in for induction on Monday. Went in yesterday for check up and cervix is completely closed - they couldn't even perform a sweep. Had a very hot curry last night and pineapple all day! Really don't want to be induced. DS was 5 days over and this one is now 8 days over. SPD a littel better yesterday and got a reasonable nights sleep for the first time in ages.

How is everyone else doing today?

Good luck for Monday Strawberry, its very quiet on this thread now isn't it.Still nothing happening with me i was only 2 days late with ds and thought your 2nd always came earlier but obviousley not.I have just hoovered and mopped all my downstairs floors and am gonna go and hoover upstairs in a bit i am trying to work this babs out of me.
Its a bit annoying cause if i dont go over the weekend i've got to arrange for someone to drive ds to nursery and pick him up next week.

hiya all, just a quickie to say that Kristof Zachary was born on wednesday. all's well - it was a very fast event. contractions didn't really start till we reached the hospital although waters broke 4 hours earlier. and babes was born within the hour. have to say that it was so quick and b@#@$$ painful that i didn't even got a chance to catch my breath to turn the TENS machine up!!! best wishes to all who are still waiting.

Well i am now 4/5 days overdue. Going in on Wednesday pm to be induced. Weird to think that by this time next week i will -hopefully - have a baby!

Fingers crossed that any inductions are avoided, and best of luck to those going in over the next day or two.

Hi Aprilmeadow. Sorry, guys. Thread crashing here from the May/June threads. April, just wanted to wish you luck. I was induced a couple of years ago. I remember how terribly dreadful I felt the day my due date came... and went.... But, you're such a great person, with all you did for Sweetheart in her time of heartache. I just wanted to wish you well.

I guess you have heard Sweethearts brilliant news..?! I only found out last Friday, and that was because she write in my birthday card '& bump'. We are keeping everything crossed for her and her dh.

hi, jonah patrick was born 9.46am on thursday after 2hrs 50mins of labour extremely painful but over quickly! 8lbs 2.5oz, home yesterday and being rapidly reminded of what sleep deprivation really means! he's slept a lot today so will be in for another night of pacing the bedroom! good luck to the rest of you waiting. i'm guessing we'll have news soon from a few being induced this weekend.

Well looks like i will not be needing the induction on Wednesday afterall. Started getting contractions at 1.30am at 8mins apart for about 4 hours, now down to 5/6 mins apart and are starting to get quite painful.
