Just wanted to pop in and let you know that Aprilmeadow had her little boy at 6.11pm yesterday.

He weighed in at 7Ib 15.5Oz.

I won't spill all the beans as I'm sure she'll post when she gets home. I'm off to hospital to see them tonight.

Congrats to new arrivals!

Oscar Samuel arrived on Saturday at 4.30pm weighing in at 9lb 3oz. Fairly quick and normal delivery. More on that later in birth announcements.

Unfortunately, it was not to be a happy day. My husband was badly attacked that evening, 100yds from our home. he has head and facial injuries but we hope no lasting damage. Please say a little prayer for him today.

Strawberry, how horrible!! Ur poor husband. I hope he recovers soon.

Congratulations Strawberry and a warm welcome to Oscar Samuel. I'm so sorry to hear about your poor DH. I really hope he's okay and that your lovely new baby can help him get over his ordeal as soon as possible. How awful for you on what should have been such a happy day. Hugs to all of you. xx

Due to dh being on paternity leave and hogging the pc all the time I've only just managed to get on here for more than a minute after all the excitement of Alexander's birth last Monday. I've just posted the birth story on birth announcements - a bit rambling but I have to work quickly with dh chomping at the bit to get back on here!

Congratulations to Qsack, csa, Lucy99, aprilmeadow and strawberry. What a horrible thing to happen to your dh strawberry - hope he recovers quickly.

I was considering updating the list only this morning but I got sidetracked with alphabeticising our spice cupboard instead - I've run out of cupboards and rooms to clean, and I've started doing really pointless tasks like sorting out all the screws and nails in the various tool boxes, and really boring stuff like that. Hope this baby arrives soon because I'm spending WAY to long browsing the cleaning aisles in supermarkets! It's not really a nesting instinct - just that I probably won't be cleaning the house for the next 6 years so it might as well be done thoroughly now!

Hello, just dropping by - due date today! I've been camping out on the May thread the whole time as an imposter though, as I am sure ds2 will be late.

But I'm having contractions every day. I know BH are meant to be stronger with your second, but this is ridiculous. I have had five or six noticable ones an hour (strong enough I couldn't sleep through) since yesterday afternoon now. But it really doesn't feel like it's going anywhere. Ds was 11 days over - have I really got 11 days of this, or do you reckon things are imminent?

STILL here and am really fed up and keep getting upset,had a terrible pain in my left side last night and was waiting for the next ones but they just didnt come.Saw the midwife today and everything is ok head is still 2/5ths and blood pressure is slightly up.I bet I go into labour tomorrow and miss the Liverpool Chelsea game i will be gutted if i do .

Letting everyone know that baby Maya Georgina arrived 19 April at 10:51. She weighs 7lb 4oz ( 3.36kg) and is 20.5in (53cm) long.
