I got home and promptly caught a stinking cold to top every thng off - not even fully recovered yet.

Just had a sweep - mw said my cervix was still a bit thick, but I was 2cm dilated. The funniest bit was when she had her hand up me and said 'well I can feel a head, you're definitely pregnant'!! So hoping things will get moving soon. I declined a date for induction next week (gulp) and have instead booked a scan at 42 weeks with a view to going to 43 weeks if necessary rather than being induced... but i'm hoping it doesn't come to that.

Where is everyone? Are you all giving birth and leaving me behind??

Hi Miranda and Raindog et al - I really hope you get to meet your babies soon without the need for any intervention. Thinking of you and looking forward to some happy news shortly...

Hi Miranda2 - I'm still here too! I had high hopes of having an 050505 baby but unless something changes quite quickly it is looking pretty unlikely! Hang on in there!

Tried that last night - bit of an effort (!) but managed it, but still nothing. I'm feeling twingy, but then that;'s been going on for about 4 weeks now. I'm not sure this baby is ever going to come out!!

Might be kicking off FINALLY - have been awake since 1 with contractions 15 mins apart, got up half an hour ago and now seem to be about 7 mins apart... and these ones HURT!

Congratulations to those who have had babies recently. I just wanted to let you know that Evie Rebecca was born on Tuesday 10th at 10pm. She weighs in at 7lb 6oz and is absolutely gorgeous! Just off to post a birth announcement!

sorry I haven't posted in ages
Congratulations to everyone and well done.
Isaac William arrived a full 14 days late on 29/5. He was 4.02 kg which is 8lb 14oz (I think, my ability to convert metric to imperial is not very good). I had to be induced and the labour was short and sharp (about 2 hours once contractions got serious). Thans for all your support and I hope everyone else is doing well too.

Just to help list update - I had baby Celia Juno, 6lbs 11oz, on April 30: 15 days late as my due date was actually April 15 not 20 as list stated.
