Morning all. I have been using my crutches all weekend and resting as much as poss and have woken up this morning and still in pain... SPD sucks.....

Thanks for all your advise on induction I have decided to be honest with MW tell her how depressed I am feeling due to the pain, and then ask if it is possiable to book an induction for my due date if nothing has happened by then....

DS1 slept all night in his bed!! He didn't get out once and I had to go and get him out this morning. Hopefully it will happen every night.

Just checking emails and planning week from home and then off down to the coast! (Sounds much more exciting than it is!)

I've just emailed a local pilates centre for details of their antenatal classes. A friend gave me their details as she used them when she was pg last year. I'm kind of excited!

LB - sorry you're still in such pain. Glad you're seeing MW this week and will be able to talk it through with her. I agree, just tell her exactly how things are for you at the moment.

LB, they had agreed to induce me at 39 weeks before they found out about the IUGR, so apart from him having a fast HB every now and then, they'd agreed before they actually found any concerns with him. Though, it wasn't all for my benefit, my waters were already known to be low, and getting lower, so that might have had something to do with it. You can always ask. Hope you get somewhere with it, you don't sound like you're much fun at the moment

Kay, a big hip hip hooray for DS1 And a big clout round the ear hole for DH.

Hooray for shopping, and boooooo at crappy MC world, I think they are all the same, ours is always upside down and aisles blocked with stock just sat on the floor.

Hi everyone else.

Morning all!

Went to see my step aunt and uncle at the weekend who have two year old twins - just adorable!

They gave us moses basket, a selection of grobags, dr brown baby bottles, steriliser, sheets, fur lined buggy snuggle, some clothes, a maxi cos car seat with isofix (we have a car seat but this is a bit bigger), a samsonite travel cot, selection of parenting books and a walking rucksack thing to carry the baby in. I was so overwhelmed by all the stuff. We have been given so much by family members we have saved so much money.

They live 15 mins away from ikea so we went there on the way back too

I am just preparing myself to go to work now but I just want to stay home and chill out to be honest!I am so tired I didnt get out of bed til 9.30!

Hope everyone else is ok. Gyo sorry to hear about your back problems. Mine is a complete nightmare at night, along with baby who has decided to do some pretty spectacular movements between 12 midnight and 3am! That is the time to get groovin' apparently

LB I do hope they agree to an induction for you. Could you considered an Osteopath/chiropractor for the last couple of weeks? I know a few of us have found the treatment rather effective.

Morning, sorry to post list without saying hello - very rude of me! Was just eager to get update to 30 weeks! I see you have a second RH jab, GYo. The midwife who did mine at 28 weeks said I wouldn't need another one because she had given me the double or triple dose - can't remember which. Finding the whole RH thing very confusing, so will double-check with my routine midwife in a couple of weeks to make sure this is correct.

Ses So sorry about the trip to Mothercare world, how disappointing! We were at Ikea on Saturday (DH is such a PITA in that store!!! He hates it and runs through it, so I can't look at ANYTHING) and I looked at MCW rather longingly as the tram went past I'm afraid I hadn't gotten that far with the I'coo as to look up stockists Hoping they email you back. I'll try to google and let you know if I find anything.

LB So sorry about SPD, sounds horrific I hope you are feeling better.

Have my booking in with the midwife this afternoon. Is she likely to try to listen to the heartbeat? Or do they not bother?

Told some friends on Saturday night and I swear they were more excited than all of the grandparents put together! And that's not to say that the grandparents weren't excited, these guys (and yes they were GUYS!) were so thrilled for us, they said it's the announcement they've been waiting for and that they keep saying out of all of their friends, we're the ones they wanted it to happen for the most. {sniff} was really, really lovely!

Hi Cosmo - I really don't know how much I will be around in mat leave. Probably be around more than now as I am so busy at work I just don't have time to post. I am trying to keep popping in just to check nothing major is happening even if I don't actually post. So yes, I do hope to MN a bit more but also I want to spend time out and about a bit whilst I have my last bit of freedom! I am also going to try and make an effort to spend a bit of time with the girls from my nct antenatal group as we will all be on mat leave together. Getting quite excited now, I can see an end in sight.

Tink text me at 10.48, said she was at the birthing centre and was 4-5cm dilated. She text earlier this morning and said she'd been up with contractions every 3-5mins from 5am. I gatehr i probably wont hear anything till baby arrives now.

With her DD1 she went into labour 4 days overdue, but had her at 6 days overdue.... but looks like this one is going pretty fast if she's about 5cm already!! hopefully we'll have news later today.

All is ok here for me... had a nice afternoon yesterday, Pizza Hut was nice, was full to the brim and didn't even have any tea as i was still stuffed at 7pm!!

My pram sold on ebay yesterday too, so i'm waiting for the courier to collect that today. Lucky DH is off as he's gone to get DS from nursery. I've just got in from taking DD to toddlers, accident free again- thats a whole 3 weeks without a single accident now!! I'm 100% certain we've cracked it now!!

My sister was having lots of contractions yesterday while at Pizza Hut and had had lots all morning but it amounted to nothing in the end!! I finished making her nappy cake last night too, so she's allowed to come whenever she likes now!!
