LOL NAT at you still being able to think abiut sex Sounds a crap night - could you postpone hv (any excuse) and get a nap, with alarm set for you for school run? Could be worse, you could still be pregnant

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 04/02/2009 10:23

Diege! at you not loving your wagon companions enough to give up your last rolo donut to us!

NatalieJane · 04/02/2009 10:26

Sorry just remembered from last night, the newborn and the bee nest thing.... TBH I think I'd just buy the footmuff thing, and take the top of it off (if you can, will check mine after...) so basically you'd be using it as a liner, just too make it a bit softer.

I will go check the footmuff thing now, I haven't even taken it out of the packaging yet. I will report back, but then I am gone, you lot are a bad influence!

NatalieJane · 04/02/2009 10:33

Oh, Tesco do the rolo doughnuts, but they also do smartie ones and they are much nicer! But then I'm a sucker for a smartie!

Yes, the top bit of the footmuff zips off completely at the bottom, so myadvice, go with the footmuff, unless it is a shite summer again.

Right now I am gone, don't let me back till it's all done OK? Have a good day everyone (and be careful in the snow on the way to shops for rolo doughtnuts!)

lastboxoftampons · 04/02/2009 10:33

Oh Nat sounds like such a crap night Really sorry. Just had a vision of you holding DS's ear and rocking him to sleep Hoping he feels better and you get some sleep. Would just forget about the house work - who cares if HV thinks you haven't vacuumed! Try to get some rest. Sounds like a definite video day to me!

kayzr · 04/02/2009 10:36

I have just ordered a swimsuit. I am going to lose this weight even if it kills me.

So I will be taking the boys swimming at least once a week.

Is it easy to teach kids to swim?

lastboxoftampons · 04/02/2009 10:38

Oh, keep forgetting to ask. I've just put my first belly pic in my profile and I was just wondering if other people looked like this at 15+ weeks? I keep hearing about people not showing until well into their second trimester, after 20 weeks, etc and can't help but feel this is a bit big...still wondering if it's a bit too much junk food or if it's actually baby...

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 04/02/2009 10:44

Looks normal LBOT- think a lot depends on your shape, number of babies etc etc. Think taller people show later etc...

I'd enjoy your bump- I remember being desperate to have one around that time and hoping my expanding gut actually looked like pregnancy than, like you said, junkfood baby

kayzr · 04/02/2009 10:44

I was showing at 12 weeks with DS1 and about 10 weeks with DS2

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 04/02/2009 10:47

PS- look at Glask's profile (if her pics are still there) she had proper bump from early on

Talking of Glask- are you lurking this morning? I hope the sickness isnt too bad today.

kayzr · 04/02/2009 10:48

We need a new thread soon.

Any ideas?

kayzr · 04/02/2009 10:49

I did think of this one:

Plenty of babies around the corner, the wagon keeps rolling on.

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 04/02/2009 10:50

Sounds good Kay- I like it

lastboxoftampons · 04/02/2009 10:51

Thanks
So, GYO did you actually eat lots of junk food in hopes that it would look like a baby? Hmmm...might be a good plan

Kay think it's easier to teach them to swim the younger they are, as then there's less chance of fear of water. Although personally, I'm not sure I would be confident teaching a super little one to swim without an instructor. But you know they have those classes where they submerge newborns because apparently they have an innate instinct to hold their breath underwater. Might also be tricky with two unless you have help.

kayzr · 04/02/2009 10:52

New Thread Here

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 04/02/2009 10:53

LOL LBOT... Think my food eating was related to keeping the nausea at bay more than anything!

I've got some pics somewhere of my 16wk belly, going to find them now to see if I really looked preg!
