Morning! You have a very sweet ds there KAY! Nearly in December now - next time the month changes you will had your baby for weeks!
Thanks for verbaudet delivery info TINKS. They seem to bombard me with letters/offers and then when I actually order something (having thrown all the offers away) it's taken 6 weeks to get here! I wait to stand corrected though.. How do xmas deccies look?
Had a Blooming Marvellous delivery this morning - v.impressed. DD3's scooter, princess fuzzy felt and PJ's. Still waiting for biggie from Letterbox, but it's been despatched.
Just been sick (risked mixing some cranberry juice with my water...) but feeling a little better every day. 11 weeks tomorrow!
Hope everyone is having a good weekend and keeping warm

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 30/11/2008 12:08

hello you lot!!! thanks for all the congrats... Ses remembered right... In the last week or so i'd been dreaming of a girl, and having visions of a girl... And also had a massive panic that it'd be a girl and Ruby wasn't the right name.... Anyway, we are over the moon, she'll be called Ruby Marie, and hopefully she'll be just as much of a pretty little princess as DD is!!

Bought some pink bits... soem vests and a lovely white wicker baby basket with a pink lining on it. Not seen any girls clothing that i like yet, but i defo have the pink bug now!!! Sorted out all the blue stuff i had last night and i have a 70+ newborn-0-3 mth bundle... a big 18-24mth bundle and a 2-3year bundle all of which i have to list on ebay... hopefully i'll get enough to buy some pretty pink dresses instead!! Honestly didn't realise how much boys stuff i had!! Some was DS's though!!

Food show was good, loved tasting all the different foods... i ate a water buffalo burger which was wierd but lovely... tried lots of different cheeses and crisps and bits of ice-cream, and different juices... all yummy!!!

Other than that our night in the hotel fizzled when we arrived and i'd accidentally booked a twin room instead of a double... luckily we were able to move the beds together though!! haha!!

Hope your all well!!!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 30/11/2008 12:12

oh should also say, scan pics now uploaded!!

tinkisahugexmaspudding · 30/11/2008 13:01

hi glas what cute girl pics!! what a lovely name .bits sound lovely
food show sounded gr8!!

kayzisexpecting · 30/11/2008 13:07

Hello Glask!!!

Glad you had a good time despite the twin beds!!
The picture is great, it is really clear.

I have some Green and Blacks mint chocolate and it is sooo gorgeous I could eat loads of it.

kayzisexpecting · 30/11/2008 13:32

Oh yeah forgot to tell you.

Went to see MIL yesterday. She wasn't too bad, I went to change DS's nappy and she said she would do it as it is getting a struggle to get down on the floor. But she has told me when I have to have the baby and given me a list of dates to avoid as she has a lot of birthdays in December.

So I have until the 8th to have him, so basically this week. SIL's birthday is the 10th and she has loads between the 20th and the 30th so not between those dates either.

Everthing I do is wrong and now even when my baby is due is wrong too!!!!!!!!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 30/11/2008 13:35

Hello

Awww great pics and names Glask, glad you had a good weekend

Diege I've ordered two things from Vertbaudet in the last few months, one took over 4 weeks to arrive and one took over 6 weeks, even though when I placed the order they were both showing as in stock, so they aren't always on top form for delivery, but their stuff is really good once it arrives, so if you're not in a hurry for the items then go for it!

Have spent the morning shopping, not for anything good though, finally decided what to do about the dryer (we couldn't decide between just replacing the broken dryer, or going all out for a washer/dryer so we don't have to keep going into the garage) so we decided on the washer/dryer after finding one that takes a huge load (I might even get one day a week when I don't have to wash! ) and the reviews on it are great, fingers crossed it will be OK, am worried about it coming out creased to hell because I don't iron unless I absolutely have to, and I don't intend to start ironing everything! And DH has given in and gone to get me a steam cleaner, I've been going on about one for months, so am looking forward to him getting back with it so I can get cleaning - don't say that very often!!

Hope you're all having good weekends?

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 30/11/2008 16:25

wow- its quiet on here today....

The pics are really clear aren't they!! the one of her face on looks just like DD did on her scan too!!

I've been cleaning and sorting (yet again) and have now moved the kids bookshelf from the dining room to the living room. So the living room is almost looking perfect now... Just need to finish my massive sorting in the dining room but my back is playing up now because of all the walking yesterday and all the up and down off the floor and shifting things etc...

OOH... forgot to add, on the way home yesterday DH took me shopping too, went in Mamas and Papas shop and there was one pair of maternity jeans in the sale, my size, down to only £10!!! plus it was an extra 20% off maternity clothes so they only cost me £8!!! Bargain or what??!! I've been extra lucky on the bargain front!!!

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 30/11/2008 16:50

Hey Glask- fab pictures, congratulations again. Lovely name too... so pretty. Hope enjoy the pink thing now!

Glad you enjoyed the food show too! I went one year and thought it was fab, love seeing all the unusual stuff..

Hi everyone else- Nat, Kay

Im off for a bath now to try and sort out my joints... trip to B&Q and sainsburys nearly finished me off!

Back laters I expect...

tinkisahugexmaspudding · 30/11/2008 19:14

hi kay - mils are so annoying if only it was that easy to pick a date to have the baby

nat - glad you have sorted out tumble dryer

glas - i have been nesting loads too
maternity jeans sound great it is great to get maternity items in the sale

gyo - have a good bath

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 30/11/2008 19:16

Have only just finished listing my bundles of boys clothing!!!!! started when i last posted!! and i admit i have put tea in the oven and eaten it too, but otherwise been glued to this think listing!! Hopefully selling all that lot will raise a few pennies to buy some girly bits!!

GYo- my back is aching too... will defo need a hot relaxing bath before bed...

Also since yesterday i all of a sudden feel like i have a baby inside me all the time... when i stand up she'll pop into my pelvis and i can feel her, when i sit down she'll press against the bottom of my pelvis... wierd how almost overnight i've just started to feel like i have a baby in there!!

kayzisexpecting · 30/11/2008 20:10

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm watching Here Come The Boys on ITV1 and how gorgeous is Enrique???? He is lovely. Boyzone are on it too!!!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 30/11/2008 20:28

Anyway, i'm gonna sky+ the rest and get off the blimin PC finally and get myself a nice hot bath!!

tata ladies!!

kayzisexpecting · 30/11/2008 20:31

YAY BOYZONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe if I get really excited baby will come!!!!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 01/12/2008 07:32

Morning

Glask, good bargain with the trousers! Hope your eBay bits sell well

Kay, at being excited at Boyzone, we spent the first song pulling them to bits and then turned over half way through their new song, not very impressed, but then I never have been by them TBH. I never quite 'got' what everyone else seems able to see in them.

Well, DS1 is going to be home from school today, he's been poorly all weekend, high temp. not eating, not moved off the sofa, etc. etc. he did seem to pick up a bit last night, but since he's not eaten anything since Friday, even if he woke up right as rain he's staying here till he's got food inside him. Which is a PITA, his Wii Fit should be being delivered today, and I have something else coming from my sister for DS2's bday, so I'm gonna be sneaking pressies in and out all day without him seeing - hopefully!

And I still haven't done my bag, I will try to do it today, will have to see how DS1 is... that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 01/12/2008 08:13

morning.... I didn't end up watching the second half as i fell asleep straight after my bath!! DH half woke me coming in from football, but when he was in the shower i must have fallen into a deep sleep then!! slept almost right through.... which is a first for a few weeks!!

I'm going to mums and toddlers this morning. So wont be about now till after lunch, and even then i'm hoping to get a little nap!!

Have a nice moring!! tata xxx

kayzisexpecting · 01/12/2008 08:21

Morning,

Nat, you have no taste in music!! They are wonderful.

I was up nearly all night, I actually thought something might be happening. I was having BH's that were getting more painful and more regular. But at about 4 they stopped completely and I managed to get some sleep.

lardybump · 01/12/2008 08:27

Morning ladies I am back. I now have me own computer and my own internet so no one can seperate me ever again (well not unless I cant pay the bills that is.....)

Anyway I have been off line for over two weeks now and have no chance of catching up on the tread so was wondering if anyone would care to fill me in on whats been happening.

I have missed you all so much, so much has happened over the last two weeks. I have SPD which is nasty and I had suspected labour last week... Really scary but it didn't amount to anything thank the lord.

I really hope you are all well and your pg are going well. I have to go to the jobcentre today to find out about any benifits that I may be able to get so wont be on until later this afternoon but I will be back I promise.....

Much love to you all....

Lardybump xx

Diege · 01/12/2008 08:28

Morning! It is so cold!! Our house is on the banks of a canal and the water has frozen solid - poor swans and ducks are paddig about ans sliding all over the place. Hopefully a boat will come along soo and crack the ice for them!
KAY, have a feeling it won't be much longer for you, though you have to hold out another 9 days yet .
Hope ds gets better soon NAT, for your sake as much as his . And get that bag packed woman!
Enjoy toddlers group GLASK! Will you tell everyone you're having a girl?
Anyone else think Britney was a total disappointment on Sat? What a cop out miming on a live talent show
Right, need to get work done today - have let e-mails etc slip these past few days. Keep warm everyone!

Diege · 01/12/2008 08:41

Lardy!!! Yah you're abck . We have really missed you and it's great that you're all set up again. Let me think about wagon news...Nat has been in and out of hosptial being monitored for waters, but things have settled down now, Kay is wishing an early labour (and who can blame her), Glask found out she's having a girl last week, Tink's shopping has slowed down a touch, but still going, SES is busy at work, but had nice break in Lakes, SORKY and LG&T are supposed to be on bed rest but obv. impossible, HEEBS had very sad news about pregnancy at early scan, but she is hopefully getting good advice off consultant, what else...oh my sickness is improving and I'm looking forward to getting out of this balsted first trimster (11 weeks today). I'm sure I've missed loads, and no doubt some really important stuff too

tinkisahugexmaspudding · 01/12/2008 08:42

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 01/12/2008 08:55

Morning!!

LB - great to have you back

Diege - We watched X Factor late Saturday after we'd got in from the pub and we all thought Britney was awful. DH said her bum in those shorts was a disgrace and wanted Kylie instead.

Kay - You must have been getting your hopes up last night but Diege is right - it's got to be the 10th!

Morning Glask, NJ, tink and anyone else lurking too!

We left Keswick at 2.45pm yesterday afternoon and didn't get home until 11.15pm The M6 was closed at Knutsford and it took more than 2 hours to be reversed back off the motorway and round to the next junction.
The weekend itself was great though. I managed to walk up a mountain which I was quite impressed with as I really have been pretty sedentary since I found out I was pg. OK it was a fairly small mountain and in Keswick it doesn't take long to get to any mountains so it was only about a 6 mile walk but it was a mountain!

So far this baby has been to a football match and up a mountain. I might have to think of a few other things... A concert or show is a must I think...

Anyway, I'm off to work so catch you all later!

Diege · 01/12/2008 09:10

Hi SES! 6 mile walk with a mountain thrown in sounds good going to me . LOL at Britney's bum - I know, I thought the same - even mine looks better than that and that's saying something . Sorry TINKS!!! I know you are a big fan!

kayzisexpecting · 01/12/2008 09:15

Maybe I should go and walk up a mountain, that should hopefully get something happening. Oh I could always parachute into the Hole of Horcom on the way to Whitby and climb back out again.

tinkisahugexmaspudding · 01/12/2008 09:43

ses sounds gd

lol kay @ parachuting
