If my bottom looked that good i would be wearing those shorts for the school run. I thought she looked great, singing not fab but still.

Kay get some rest and stop thinking about it, he is stying out for another 2 weeks yet my lovely

I have been up since 3. DH has the bug and the baby was crying on and off. He settled in my bed (he never does that) at 630. I am shattered. I have also eaten a bowl of shreddies and have fricking heartburn I get HB with everything it is sooo unfair.

Nat hoping for a quiet week for you, you need a rest.

Diege not long now and the sickness will be all gone just in time for Xmas and you can scoff everything as you deserve!

Glask hope the ebay stuff goes well, i have loads to list. Lots of maternity trews, maternity bras all as new just grew out of them in a nano second! I also have a matrix lie flat car seat, it does not fit in our car but came with a Jane buggy i bought at the begining of the summer.

The trews are size 12 H&M jeans, size 12 mothercare jeans (they were too long) and a very nice pair of Seraphine size 3 jeans that i covet but sadly my bottom and thighs argue with I have 2 mothercare 34c maternity bras too (the pink and spotty ones) any takers before i ebay?

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 01/12/2008 10:23

Oh Kay, but it's BOYZONE, it's crap - sorry!

And as for Britney, how can anyone sound so crap when they are miming? LOL Can you tell I am not a lover of pop?! Did you see the judges when she was "singing"? LOL Louis, Danni and whatsherface all clapping and getting into it, and Simon sat sipping his water not even smiling I love that man.

LB!!!!!!!!! Hellooooooooooooooo Diege has managed a good round up Good to have you back

Ses, sounds like you had a lovely time except for the traveling back, was it a crash or the weather? Very impressed with your hike, I can barely make it up the stairs without collapsing half way, let alone a mountain!

Tink, is DD better today? I'm not altogether sure what's wrong with DS1, he's not left the sofa all weekend, no D&V or anything, sometimes says his belly is hurting but other than that nothing he can put his finger on. Maybe he has the viral thing that I had with the kidney infection? Who knows?!

LG&T, poor you with lack of sleep, not much fun is it? Hope you get the heartburn sorted.

I've had a lot of contractions this morning, bloody painful buggers, they are getting worse as time goes on, god knows what they'll be like by term+ (not that I am intending on finding out!) they are at about the level they got to with DS2 before I was induced so am treading unchartered waters now. Oh the sodding joys eh? Oh and DH is feeling all sorry for himself because it dawned on him that if I am still pregnant over xmas/newyear he's not going to be able to drink - poor thing I feel ever so sorry for him.... Almost makes it seem worth while hoping I get that far! LOL

kayzisexpecting · 01/12/2008 11:24

Just been to town and nearly started crying in the supermarket where I work/on ML. I am sick of people asking me when I am going to have the baby. When he is bloody ready is when I am going to have him!!!!!!!!!

But I suppose if I keep trying to go out everyday it might do some good. I am sitting on the ball everyday. But not until DS is in bed as he thinks it is a giant toy.

LG&T, the lack of sleep is horrible. I am so tired of waking up at least once a night.

My blooming marvellous stuff has arrived. Some other stuff I ordered from Mothercare still hasn't arrived, meant to be here by the 27th Nov. Got an e-mail to say it 'should' be here this week. I think I might stop using them or just wait until I need loads of stuff and then ask Mum to take me to the shop.

Diege · 01/12/2008 11:33

ooh I missed Simon's aloofness NAT - not like me to miss anything that my man does...
LG&T you must be shattered And I am sure that your bottom would give Britney's a run for the money . Out of interest, I am thinking of buying some Seraphine jeans (different size otherwise I would have bought yours!!) and wondered what they were like fit/quality etc?? I know they do a shirt leg, so not the usual shortening dilemma, but do they look like 'real' jeans if that makes sense??
KAY, final stretch now...don't cry!! I agree about Mothercare. I remember when I lived in Liverpool the shop was buzzing as it was city centre; people popping in during lunch breaks for bits and pieces, staff lovely. Then they decided to move them all to out of town retail parks and totally changed the shopping experience. maybe I'll try their mail order (NOT!!!!).

kayzisexpecting · 01/12/2008 11:42

It is becoming tempting to just stay in everyday just so I don't see anyone.

Diege · 01/12/2008 11:46

No KAY, you must keep on going out! I really think it would help, physically and mentally, to get out everyday, even just for 10 minutes. It really won't be long until you're pushing your new pram and feeling so much better xx

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 01/12/2008 12:56

Kay- he'll be here soon enough!! just make the most of it- i swear a week after he's born and your tired and haven't washed properly in a few days, and glued to the sofa BFing you'll be wishing you could pop him back for an hour just for the rest!!! I know i did once or twice with DD (think it that is, not do it!!)

Diege- i have to say i was impressed at how britney looked, after all look what she's been throguh over the last few years, i thought she looked like cute little britney again (even if she is older than me) she looked healthy and happy!! i dont care if she was miming- she looked good!! and if i had a bum like that i might even be persuaded to walk down the street naked!!!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 01/12/2008 12:59

LG&T- the maternity stuff sounds good, but i'm a 14 and a 36E so they are of no use to me... if they were my size i'd have had them though!! I'm sure they'll sell very well on ebay!!

One of my bundles have sold on ebay.... at the buy-it-now of £20!! wuhoo!! only another 4 bundles left!!

kayzisexpecting · 01/12/2008 14:37

My bump has vanished nearly!!! It has all gone south. There is no bum in my ribs!! But there feels like there is a watermelon between my legs. I am feeling pretty sick and DH is convinced I'll go into labour as soon as he leaves for work. Which is now and nothing is happening.

I do hope that he'll come soon, I am walking like a cowboy!!!!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 01/12/2008 14:58

wuhoo!!!! I think i could be closest on the date!!!!! i said the 4th!!!!

kayzisexpecting · 01/12/2008 15:01

DS has just fallen asleep on me. I'm really worried he won't be as cuddly when the baby comes.

What were everyone's older DCs like when the new one came?

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 01/12/2008 15:04

DSv was just as cuddly...dont worry about it, yes he'll gain a sence of independance but he'll still want his cuddles!! DS still gives us loads of cuddles and he's nearly 4!!

kayzisexpecting · 01/12/2008 15:07

I hope DS will be like that. Just a little worried.

Playingthe9monthwait · 01/12/2008 15:07

Afternoon all, just checking in to see if everyone is ok. Hi all!

Kay - things sound like they are happening

Glask - congratulations on the girl

Nat - sorry you are still suffering with contractions.

LB - nice to "see" you again!

LG&T - I would take you up on the bra offer but completely the wrong size.

Actually whilst on the bra subject I suppose I am going to have to buy some at some point but am really stumped to know what size. I am still in the same bras I was pre-pg, my boobs are not remotely larger yet. When do they get bigger? Will they, as I am already quite large?

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 01/12/2008 15:24

Playng, what size do you mean by 'quite large'? I was about a 34-36C before having DS, then since having him i'm now a 36E... mine grew more after having him, and in the last trimester... i mainly have stretchy material bra's so i can grow out a little more when i'm full without needing a new bra, if i go up too much in size then i may need some more!!

Playingthe9monthwait · 01/12/2008 15:32

Hi Glask - I'm currently a 34F

Playingthe9monthwait · 01/12/2008 15:34

Oh and I probably am little larger under the boobs. I have gone from wearing my bras on the tightest setting to the middle setting.

kayzisexpecting · 01/12/2008 15:38

I'm a 38E and I have my fingers crossed that I will not going too much bigger. They drive me mad.

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 01/12/2008 15:42

that might be all that happens for you then playing... at about 36 weeks they should be as big as they'll get i think (i'm sure i was told that) so that is the best time to buy nursing bras etc!!

kayzisexpecting · 01/12/2008 15:45

Yeah thats right Glask, you should be measured for nursing bras after 36 weeks. They shouldn't get too much bigger after that.

lardybump · 01/12/2008 15:52

I am back...... Not entitled to a thing as I am only looking for part time work. Even though it was a part time possition i was made redundant from, but I have applied for Child tax credits so hopefully we will get a little help.....

So sorry you are suffering Kay are you taking any natural remedies??

Playing you need to get measured at 36 weeks because you have to alow for when your milk comes in and they do that when they measure you.. I go to Mothercare to get measured as they do tend to know more.

I am 28 weeks now....

Nat it is my birthday on the 10th so as it looks like Kay is not going to hold out until then It is down to you........

kayzisexpecting · 01/12/2008 15:58

Sorry to hear that LB, you'd think they would take into account that you were made redundent from a part time job and that you have DD to look after.

I have been using Clary Sage in the bath. Also Lavender to help me get to sleep, just wish he would come now. Then MIL can't moan at me too much.

I want to go to sleep but DS is full of beans so it isn't going to happen.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 01/12/2008 15:58

Don't be too sure they won't grow anymore, even if only for a little while, I remember with DS1 when my milk came in (and because he was a half an hour on, half an hour off kind of kid) my boobs were like beach balls, much bigger than they had been before he was born, they did go down a bit once the milk had settled in but they were still bigger than when I was pregnant. The softer cup nursing bras are the best bet, they have a lot more give in them. Also, you have to allow room for nursing pads as well (even the thin ones when they are full of milk can get very big!)

Still haven't done my bag, I really need a kick up the bum.

Kay, sounds like he has engaged some more, all good signs

lardybump · 01/12/2008 16:03
