Ooooh good luck for .... right now! .... am having lots of sticky thoughts, i just you will be totally fine!

Yes please put a pic on for us!

nelix what time is your scan?

SparkyMalarky · 06/11/2008 17:19

All good Size just above the 50%, wouldn't give me a risk from the nuchal (we have the combined test) but it was 1.7 so a quick bit of googling seems to suggest that's ok too...was soo lovely to see it waving and kicking!

Anyway - can wear my maternity jeans with pride now (mamas and papas - how did I not find them last time?) and off to beg DH for a treat from Isabella Oliver!

Nelix - how did you get on?

Heeby - so you still haven't given us all the details

(Jools sending happy vibes to St Ives )

Heebychick · 06/11/2008 21:17

sparky that's such great news! am so pleased for you, do you feel more relaxed now about everything? Can you post a pic?

nelix thinking of you honey and looking forward to hearing all about scan!

Sorry yes details ... well...

(and i'm going to whisper this as very nervous )

I think i can thank the following things ... followed the Deanna plan which meant BDing at the RIGHT time and lots of it, cutting out alcohol and caffiene which i swear (combined with GFJ) gave me much more EWCM and of course enabled me to spot ov better and hey presto i was able to grab dh at the right time!

I didn't have many symptoms, in fact it was the lack of them that made me wonder, i had (and still have) cramps and sharp almost stabbing pains and painful teeth (!) but that's all.

Felt a little sicky today and yesterday (yey!) so am keeping positive.

Have another test to do and not sure whether to do it tonight or tomorrow! when i MC it was just after i did the second test which was bfn ... so guess i'm scared about it.

nelix2000 · 07/11/2008 09:40

sparky so happy it went well!.....our baby too is fine, good strong heart beat, we decided againstdowns syndrome tests etc, took all the other bloods though!...baby is bang on dates almost, midwife put EDD at 27ths of may so we were only a day out.

ooooh heeby sickness is a good sign of strong hormones!...I am just the other side of it now and tbh am delighted its over lol! though at the time I was glad of any symtoms because I had none with DS, but I was younger and had no sense that anything would or could be wrong! oh how things change lol!

Did you do the other test???

How lovely !!!! Bub is waving i'm sure! Lovely to hear all is well, such a relief huh.

Yes did another test this morning and the line came up right away without any time waiting! hurrah!!

Feel great except still worried as early days, i'm sure as the weeks go by we'll relax more, trying not to worry but it's hard huh. 6 weeks is our first goal as that will have gone past last time and the little one will have a heartbeat.

nelix2000 · 07/11/2008 17:40

one day at a time heeby thats the way I did it. I feel very differnt this time tho, ad I had DS to focus on, but when I was pregnant with him I only had my pregnancy to focus on so spent so much time worrying! its hard not to! So good a line came up straight away! go baby!!!!

I have to go back for the rest of my booking on Sunday as they only had time for quick scan and bloods as some woman was in labour....I mean honestly how incosiderate. Its such a small mat unit they are lovelly but since my DS was born, they say they are stretched now because of the local polish imigrants getting pregnant, its really stretching resources. BUT i think thats overall good news as they have tried to close down the mat unit so many times, so maybe the demand will prove its much needed.

So how is everyone? Nice weekend? x

Jools1 · 10/11/2008 23:06

Fantastic news on the scans - am so pleased for you both

I had a lovely weekend away - really relaxed and DP and I sorted out a few "issues" and started really comunicating again like we haven't in a long time.

Travelled home today and I'm bleeding - quite a lot of red when I wiped just now

Dating scan is tomorrow afternoon and it is going to be a very very long and dark few hours waiting to find out if beanie is alive

Just when I thought (at 11+3) that I was coming out of the danger zone and could start to enjoy being pg

Heebychick · 11/11/2008 09:44

jools oh honey, try not to worry, plenty of women bleed when they are pregnant. Do you have any cramps? is it possible that it could be where the placenta is taking over?
what did your Dr say?

Lots of love honey for this afternoon, i will keep everything crossed for you xxx

Jools1 · 11/11/2008 09:46

Mild but constant AF type cramps and one small clot this morning

I haven't called anyone - since I have a scan scheduled for 15.50 today anyway, I'm not sure there is anything they can do ?

At least I won't have long to wait before I know what is going on ...

nelix2000 · 11/11/2008 10:17

oh Jools, so sorry, but please don't worry to much, both my sis and sis in law bled throughout there pregnancys and of course its worrying. I hope everything turns out ok this afternoon.....sending you love and hope xxx

SparkyMalarky · 11/11/2008 12:27

Jools hon try not to worry - bleeding quite common - especially after sex (if you've managed it!) sending sticky thoughts and keeping everything crossed for you....

Heebychick · 11/11/2008 13:04

jools i'm no expert but again to repeat what Nelix and Sparky have said it is common and could be something unrelated.

I will be thinking of you at 3.50pm xx

Jools1 · 11/11/2008 13:47

Bleeding out badly - phoned midwife and have got to go to A&E

Heebychick · 11/11/2008 14:48

lots of love and support Jools xxx

nelix2000 · 11/11/2008 16:00

Sitting in gynae a@e waiting for an internal exam but after 4 hours of very very heavy bleeding and passing (sorry if tmi) several fist sized clots, I am certain it is all over

Temp high and bp has hit the floor so they won't let me home yet

nelix2000 · 11/11/2008 16:39

oh honey(((hugs)))I am sooooo so sorry...there is not much I can say to comfort you right now I am sure

OP posts:
