Sorry to disappoint - I have had a really bad day (yep sazzles - argumentative, hormonal, STILL BLOODY PREGNANT) .

Have been having mild contractions since 9am this morning, more on than off, but ntohing that is progressing into more than that - so much for all of the 'oh it will be really quick and easy when it happens' comments. Went out for a 5-6 mile walk on the hills this afternoon - sheer frustration, figured that if nothing else it was good exercise.

Think because I haven't felt much for the last week it has been ok, but now the contraction feelings have started again it has got very very frustrating. I wish this baby would just get a shift on now - it's not funny anymore and all my calm karma has gone right out of the window.

FED FUCKING UP. Which is partly why I haven't been on, even thinking about any of it earlier had me in tears.

Have avoided calling the MW - DH and I have agreed to give it until Wednesday and then will agree to see a doctor to make a decision. Don't want to be induced but not sure how much longer I can bear this - particularly as it is eating into my maternity leave, which I was supposed to be spending with LO .

DH (who has been fabulous) admitted this pm that he has had enough too - I think mostly from the 'ooh, has she had it yet?' every time he goes anywhere without me.

Still, am feeling (a bit) better now. Maybe tonight???

Happy for this to go over to a post natal thread - think you can only do 1000 posts anyway, and maybe it will enourage the babies who don't want to come out yet to change their minds .

Ataraxis - {{{{HUGS}}}} oh so disappointed for you. I know what you mean about the feeling teary about it all. Obviously,as i had my blowout on Friday. I've managed to stay quite karmic today though, but who knows how long I'll be able to keep that up for??

I have booked another reflexology apointment although I'm n ot sure if there's any point.

Thanks guys, AnnVan - had reflexology on Thursday and she came over to home last night (very sweet)- said my uterus area feels harder than before but not sure what that actually means. Whatever, despite being a very lovely hour, has made no odds as clearly hasn't given this baby the boot up the bum that is needed - was thinking about that as I typed it - maybe it should be a boot down the bum?!

I know - I'm not sure reflex has had any effect whatsoever, but hey, she's earning a living and at least I get a foot massage out of it. She said last time that the swelling near the inner ankle which is the uterus has dropped really low, and I should be ready to pop any moment. The next day I got told no go on the cervix

Now really don't know if I'll be going to birthday do on Saturday. if I agree to induction, I'll going in on Saturday evening. If I refuse inductionk, I'll have to go in ffor daily monitoring. And DP's nan wants to know roughly what to expect. How can I let her know when I don't know FFS?

mmm ok, I've been bad and had a nibble of goat's cheese but it's so good and I havent tasted it in months!
