Feel free to join us.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Hoping this one I found today will work. There's some people in 3-bed maisonettes on my estate trying to exchange down to London and the South Coast! So if anyone wants to move to Birmingham from either of those to a two bed flat, I'm up for a three way exchange!

Morning all - just catching up with yesterdays posts, weather here is foul as per usual and ive got to do some serious running around to get everything organised for my DD1's 16 birthday the day after tomorrow. I am borrowing DP's car as mine has completely given up the ghost now and that means a drive to the station every morning - its bloody miles! I need to start looking around for a seven seater quite soon anyway, any reccomendations?

Still loving that doppler i ordered i use it everyday and lo's heartbeat is quite easy to pick up now although it moves from one side to the other - also have NHS dating scan on Wednesday to look forward to

Tink good luck with finding somewhere for your exchange - Im sure there are plenty of people looking to swap to be nearer their family or work or whatever - ill keep my fingers crossed for you anyway.

As for a new title - 'pregnant not fat ok' probably does not apply to all of us (well me anyway) as i am best described as both and i dont think DP would think it worth mentioning anyway but we could keep on brainstorming ... my er rubbish contribution could be something like ... ohhh i cant think of anything it is def too early!

Morning,

God, the weather is just awful - it is like winter . Had to buy ds some new wellies last week - such a wrong summer purchase.

Tink - hope you get sorted soon. Also, in the NHS, the tourniquet is usually a rubber glove or your mate hand squeezing the pts arm cos that was much cheaper than single use tourniquets (ever so slightly)

Rosie - I think people tend to like the Toyota Verso or the Ford S-Max. There was a thread on this a couple of weeks ago if you are interested in what people have to say. I have a dull & crappy little Renault myself, but may have to swap cars with dh when this lo arrives.

Spots? Er, no not really, but am having the maddest dreams ever. Last night I dreamt I was married to Trevor Nelson (the radio 1 dj - don't like his music, don't even really know what he looks like to god knows where that came from. Though had been watching "American Gangster" with Denzel Washington in it, so maybe just got a bit confused! )

Anyway, my old man Trev was opening up a bar/club type thingy on Ancoats St in Manchester. Next thing, I am in a 4x4 with dh, dragging an injured woman out of the back and waiting for Don Epps from "Numb3rs" to come and pick her up. Then ds woke me up by hollering from his bed - don't know why he cannot just walk into our room to say good morning.

Dh thinks I am going a wee bit round the hatstand. He's probably not far wrong.....

Ha ha!

WMMC- I dreamt the other night that I went to visit a friend and realised I had forgotten to put any knickers on.

The weather here is AWFUL. Torrential rain.

I have the dentist this morning but at least it gets me time off work. God, it's saying something when you would rather go to the detist than work- roll on Mat leave!

How about- Fab Febbers enter the second trimester- pregnant not fat, hormonal not spotty!

Oh, I give up.

rosieposey · 12/08/2008 10:19

Lol markstretch i am all of the above!!! Even my spotty teenager had a good laugh at my chin last night! Could just have Fab Febbers enter the second trimester ... and think of a really exciting one for next time.

Had a bad experience with Ford ownership a while ago (although im sure thats not the case with Fords in general) which has put me off them - might just get a really old 7 seater volvo or merc or something and get something fun and newer to drive at weekends under the guise of it being DP's new car and just systematically 'borrow' it whenever im going out sans children

mslucy · 12/08/2008 10:36

Like the married to Trevor Nelson and no knicker dreams - obv I'm not the only one with mental dreams.

last night I dreamt I was arguing with my mother and Oprah Winfrey was trying to sort things out.

WTF.

The bruise from yesterday's blood test is now about an inch long and dark purple in colour.

I look like a very incompetent drug addict.

nadssss · 12/08/2008 10:46

I dreamt a Foxton's estate agent tried to kiss me. Gross.

Hear hear on the next thread being "Fab Febbers enter the second trimester" - let's stay positive that the spots and chubbiness aren't here to stay.

spottyshoes · 12/08/2008 11:23

Yeah go with the 2nd trimest pg not fat hormonal not spotty 1!

I dreamt giant robots were trying to stamp on me last night. A cross between transformers and cloverfield

I've been investigating 7 seaters Rosie and think we're going for the new style Vaux Zafira. The VW Touran is said to be good too, my cousin has the sporty one which is rather expensive nice looking

onwardandupward · 12/08/2008 11:28

FAB FEB FOURTH THREAD: ARE WE BLOOMING YET?

I shouted it so everyone would notice.

Let's leave out any fat/spotty/sick/moody comments in the title - because within a week or two we are all going to feel as Fabby as the Fab Feb title demands, aren't we? Aren't we????

rosieposey · 12/08/2008 11:36

I second that title onward - inspired!

nadssss · 12/08/2008 11:37

We are going to be blooming! Lovely title - let's do it!

MarkStretch · 12/08/2008 11:44

Go for it onward!
